Three days after pressure-washing the house, they started prep work, taping the windows & around fixtures, removing the downspouts, scraping off old caulking, etc. The following day painting began. Due to some rain, the job was completed 1 day later than estimated, but they did what they could. The job took 1/2 day for pressure washing and 5 days to prep and paint. The crew was great, arriving early or on time each day and really working hard making sure they did everything properly. They even put back big potted plants that had to be moved, which I really appreciated. Jorge came by the work site each day to make sure things were going smoothly and answer any questions I had. There are a lot of painters out there, so choose carefully, choose A&I's Painting! I will hire them again for sure!

I reached out to A and I's Painting in the middle of a water damage repair - the first contractor (Premier Water Removal) had ghosted me after I tried to get them to finish repairing and painting the ceiling in my bedroom. Jorge, from A and I's, answered my request for bid and came out to scope the job the next day. He identified an issue that others had missed, which was necessary and would require the entire bedroom to be painted. This gained my trust and he promised he'd find a way to work me into their busy schedule. He did that and more. He prepped the room himself to reduce the time that the painters needed to fit into their schedule. The painting was done days later and it is flawless. There is no evidence, NONE, that a large hole was patched, textured and painted. The rest of the job was the same quality and this company was a pleasure to work with!

I had a quick turn interior painting job to get done before moving into a new home, and Matt was able to work with me to squeeze it into their calendar. Matt came over to provide an initial assessment, and took the time to walk through every room and closet and provide a really detailed estimate on time needed. I had a paint selected that he thought might show up too dark, and recommended I go at a 50% lighter tint. I followed his advice and am so glad I did - the place looks amazing and feels light and spacious. Jason helped to paint the space, and he was in constant phone/text communication to provide status updates, and ask me questions on how I wanted certain things done. I'd also had the carpet pulled up in the bedrooms and the floors underneath redone, which left the trim in bad shape. Jason was able to replace and paint the trim as well, which I appreciated greatly. Now that I'm in my home, I'm catching all of these crazy details they didn't miss, like removing all of the light switch/outlet plates and painting behind them, and pulling out the stove and fridge to paint behind the appliances. After Armor Roofing remodeled the beam structure and installed skylights, Refined Painting patched the new interior two-beam sets with "mud" and paint to make each one of them appear like single white smooth textured beams. They also textured a portion of a wall that needed attention after a roof leak. They did a flawless job with multiple coats of priming, patching and painting the beams and returned a couple weeks latter to sand, "mud" and repaint a few small bubbles that arose in the curing process. The crew really is refined in their craft which goes way beyond painting. We chose Arclight to stain our house in spring of 2025. Of the 4 painting firms from which we…read morereceived bids, theirs was not the cheapest, but was only slightly higher than the cheapest. The amount of thought and detail they put into the bid was impressive. All business transactions were done online and were easy to use. We encountered several challenges. The siding could not take the brand of penetrating stain we had selected because percentage of solids in the previous stain was too dense. They found a stain and seal product from a different company that would work. It took more than two days working with Rodda-Miller paints to create a color match to the old stain. While this was going on Arclight did a soft wash of the house and then masked the trim or staining of the siding. The soft wash did an excellent job of removing dirt and mold, while being much safer than a traditional pressure wash. They applied two coats and still finished with only a four hour overrun on the estimated time to complete. Each day, they worked with us to share access to the fenced yard with our dogs. Throughout the process, Arclight was very easy to work with. Communications were excellent. They sent an e-mail each evening describing work done that day and the plan for the next day. The quality of the finished staining job could not be better. We highly recommend Arclight's services to anyone planning to paint or stain their house.
