We moved to the area not knowing anyone and we have quickly met and befriended much of the neighborhood thanks to the Store. The staff is very friendly and capable-- they remember our names and orders and the coffee, service and food is always consistent and top notch. The store is always immaculately organized and well stocked. Coffee, wine, grocery essentials, cute merch, and a place to meet our neighbors (walking distance from home to boot!). Now featuring AC ;) What more could you ask for? Nelle (the owner) works tirelessly there, both at the counter and behind the scenes. She's made an effort to make this a place for everyone ~ soft serve and treats, the best frosé in the PNW (even available to go!), personally selected craft beers and small batch wines, and amazing pastries, sandwiches and house made pizzas ('za is Fridays only). When she has a minute to relax she'll pull up a chair and chat with local usuals and new visitors which is such a small town feel, we love it. Friday nights are incredibly busy as it's THE local watering hole for 3TPers and has the best vibe with people spilling out past the veranda enjoying the evenings (warm summers and otherwise). I recommend any time of day, any day of the week!

It's not the largest square footage but there are *two* seating areas, so don't be discouraged. Lots of regulars seem to be local folk who swing by for take out. The food is excellent. Parking might be a bit of a squeeze But we just walked over -- and needed the walk back to walk some of it off Would definitely return if back in the area

Jake and Becky are knowledgeable tour guides and fun even for those of us who visit the Market regularly. Continue on a short walk up to Jason Wilson's Miller's Guild restaurant. Prepare to be amazed as you sit at the chef's counter in front of a blazing wood fired grill where Jason keeps up a fun and enlightening banter as he cooks up a multi course meal for you. Several appetizer courses are served up at the counter and then everyone moves to the dining room for the main courses and dessert. My husband and I were on the first of these events (unbeknownst to us when we signed up) and it went off flawlessly. This is an intimate event so we got to know our fellow diners which was fun too. The menu will vary for each event so don't know what you will have, but we enjoyed salmon tartar, oysters on the half shell, mushroom goat cheese bruschetta, roasted mussels with Merguez sausage, grilled salmon, pork roast and a delicious pear/apple dessert. My descriptions don't really do the menu justice because, after all, the guy cooking up this dinner is a James Beard and Food & Wine award winner. The "stump the chef" bit was fun where we selected an item at the Market for Jason to prepare that would be a surprise for him -- just to see what he would do with it. We chose goose eggs with the stipulation "you can't just scramble them". Jason sawed those raw eggs in half, stirred up a delicious truffle flan with the innards, and then baked it back in the egg shells. Creative and fun! This event (I can't just call it a tour and meal...) is a good value since you get the market tour (fun even for lifelong Seattleites), a cocktail before the meal and a couple of glasses of paired wine with the meal as well as a couple of really fun hours with Jason and his staff. We plan to go back!

Enjoyed bringing the bounty of our market harvest to Chef Jason Wilson at Miller's Guild to watch him carefully craft a delicious meal with all the freshness the market has to offer. We even threw in a special "stump the Chef" ingredient which he turned into a wonderful savory flan. Amazing. The wine pairings were perfect and sharing stories with fellow adventurers was a delight. Our tour guides Jake and Becky were knowledgeable, friendly and just a delight. I would definitely do this again.

The looked really good, and at $5.00 for four it felt like good deal, plus it had weight, which is good. What is not good is the flavor. Blech. Although I have been a chef for over 40 years, I can be honest in my judging. These stuffed clams had all stuffing, like a poorly made crab cake mix. It was loaded with panko but no evidence of clams. Way too much salt. Horrible. No wonder they were so cheap. Funny thing is, I left them outside my place where the Seagulls tore them up. Matlaws is therefore bird food IMHO. Never again. I could have taken them back, but it was only $5.00. Not worth my time. Additionally, Safeway has removed the review feature, so there was no way to share my honest experience on their website. Many other customers expressed the same frustration on Reddit, where they put their food reviews by proxy. Amazon, Fred Meyer and others have a review feature, because future customers depend on those to see whether or not a product is worth buying. Safeway, bring your review feature back, because I will not be back to your store.

My bf reminds me of this store we randomly came across one day. It has what the store in Lakewood has but more grocery options. Cute and homey store. I spent about 30mins+ give or take shopping for the family. There are many options of trinkets, chocolates (alcohol ones too) , drinks, mustards, curry ketchups, gummy candy, bread, gravy etc. I did notice they don't carry any Maggie products for gravy and such. I know that was my bro's first question as he prefers that brand lol. The staff is really kind. The deli dude was patient with me as I told him I have a lot to order. I met the female owner and she's a sweetheart. The cashier lady was also so helpful as I couldn't find a specific brand candy. She pointed me in the right direction and luckily there was enough :) There's plentiful parking in the lot, and can get pretty cramped when busy as it's not a big store but has many options. My basket total in my picture provided is $255. My brother in law asked me to take them here next time they're in town as there's so much to look at.
