This is such a fun ice cream / coffee shop. It is a smaller space but the natural lighting opens the place up. There are so many goodies u can shop/look at while eating your ice cream. I was helped right away and was given recommendations from the staff. The ice cream itself was so yummy and you can really tell it was made in house. I live in northern seattle and found myself in the west seattle/white center area this sunny Wednesday and i went into puffy pandy. The flavor offerings were tropical and Jade at the front was incredibly nice. She offered me samples of the ice cream and walked me through the types of add ons and was genuinely very kind and bubbly. Aside from the excellent customer service, the sweet treat i got made me so happy! I got the fruity pebbly ice cream with fruity pebble toppings and the cone was warm and crunchy and was a nice compliment with the ice cream. I recently took a macaron cooking class, so I have a newfound appreciation for this dessert. They are beautiful and delicious but take a lot of work! This is why I am so happy that I have a local place where I can buy them easily. :-) Puffy Pandy is in White Center, on 16th Ave SW. It is usually easy to get free street parking nearby. I come here for the macarons, but they also have ice cream, cream puffs, boba tea, Vietnamese coffee, etc. I recommend getting a box of one dozen assorted macarons. It's been too long since we came to puffy panda! My partner and I were in the area and had to make the 10 min detour to stop in. The vibe is cozy and full of fun panda art and Knick knacks. We were served promptly at the counter. We came for the puffy icecream sandwich but saw the Ube cookie and had to get it too. We didn't regret it! I regret not taking a photo of what I got, but they were all soooo delicious! I did put a photo of the card they gave me with all the flavors, though, which I thought was a very nice touch! Technically my third review for this place (if you count the Yelp Elite Experience event I went to for their ice cream puffys) since now I can recommend a third item on their menu: their macarons! This was during a cold and dark Saturday night and I wanted something to bring during a Friendsgiving potluck. I don't know why but this place suddenly came to mind; maybe I wanted something more colorful while still being small and a nice dessert to have. I started eyeing their 60-piece mini macarons, which was just $29 flat and was in a small container and was organized by color. Servers were really kind and asked me how my day was, along with answering my questions on the differences between macaron sizes. As a bonus, I have had their regular-sized macarons, both from a Yelp Elite event and on my own time, so I can vouch for both sizes now. Macarons are really tasty while not being too sweet. There's subtle differences among each color of macarons; I tasted hints of vanilla, strawberry and (maybe) cookies and cream among them. Outside crust for each macaron was soft yet firm when you bite into it, and filling is not at all overpowering. Needless to say, it was one of the first desserts to be completely gone by the time the Friendsgiving party was over, so that pretty much says how awesome their stuff is. read more

Funny enough they found/followed me on TikTok a couple years ago and told me to come through, so you know I had to come in to support. I've been twice now (and many more visits to come) and I ordered a variety of mini cream puffys in different flavours. Each one of them was so good I can't pick a favourite. If you want to try all the flavours, I recommend ordering either the flight or dozen. I have also ordered Vietnamese coffee from here, and it's pretty good for what it is. Of course since they aren't a specialty coffee shop, the coffee isn't their best item. But definitely good for washing down all the other desserts. Enticing pastry case with assorted macarons, puddings, tartlets, ice cream, tea, and coffee menu items. Ice cream flavor samples are offered, if desired. The counter staff were truly welcoming and all smiles. This brightened my mindset walking in. One can't help but feel buoyant and happy, at least it seemed to be my experience this afternoon as a solo diner. There were also others onsite or preferred having their treats as takeout. After checking in, I decided on a craquelin puffy with biscoff toast crunch ice cream and oreo topping. This was an unexpected, generous treat that I enjoyed onsite. They have a nice variety of ice cream flavors from local vendors and some made in-house. We were offered generous samples. Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #72 After having a fantastic ice cream puff from Puffy Pandy, I decided to return to try one of their very interesting looking milk teas. Pandan milk tea? That's certainly a rarity! Pandan Milk Tea, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.70) - I was told this has a black tea base and is made with fresh milk. The milk tea is very fragrant and has a very nice mellow pandan flavor that coats the mouth with every sip. It's pretty much perfectly not-too-sweet at 50%, a pleasant surprise versus a lot of other boba shops. The boba isn't too bad at all. It's kind of sticky, velvety and softer on the exterior, indicating a long sugar soak, and the interior has a good level of chew and bounce. The boba is of a somewhat smaller variety, so the amount of bounciness is limited by the size. For a place that doesn't specialize in boba drinks this one is surprisingly good. Came here on a nice hot day which made it the ideal time to get a cold treat. Luckily there is a strip of back in angle parking available down the whole street. First impression was that I thought the storefront was cute with the panda hovering up top paired with the font. When I walked in, I was met with smiles from the staff and an earnest willingness to help me. So I helped myself to some free ice cream samples. I tried a few flavors and the two flavors that I was bouncing between were their pandan ice cream or their Ube Oreo. Both of which I believe they made in house. I ended up choosing the Ube Oreo ice cream with the cornflake topping as depicted in the photos I took. I also got myself a mini cream puffy which was Thai milk tea flavored. So the question, were they good? The answer... Ice cream puffy: I enjoyed everything thing about it. The portion of ice cream that they stuffed into this puff pastry was an ample amount. The topping coated the exterior to help add that dimension of crunchy which also complimented the crumbly texture of the craquelin. Pastry wasn't soggy and the ice cream had a nice ratio of Ube ice cream to Oreo bits. All in all positive experience. I will say eating this thing requires a hybrid situation of in hand straight to mouth technique with alternating use of a utensil of choice. Unless you don't care about getting messy and possibly spilling. The mini cream puffy: let's make this one simple. I liked the texture. As for the filling unfortunately, the flavor wasnt as apparent as I wanted it to be. If I ate the mini cream puffy not knowing the flavor, I wouldn't be confident enough to say Thai milk tea. It could be a one off/subtle batch. I honestly wouldn't know. I do know that I've had the puffy 's before and the flavors were more prominent. After Full Tilt Ice Cream closed I wasn't sure if there was any other place in this part of White Center that served ice cream. But then we came across Puffy Pandy which was exactly what we needed. They indeed had some ice cream! The flavors were very unique too! For example Steve got Pandan flavored ice cream. It had a very bold flavor profile. That much is for sure. I had the London Fog flavor. The presence of that particular flavor was mild and perhaps maybe a little too much for me but that didn't stop my enthusiasm for it as it was very refreshing to have as we were walking around the area on a relatively hot day. We also saw that they had puffs and macaroons which is perhaps the primary part of their idea and inventory here. We saw lots of tempting flavors and it was hard to decide what to get so we got a small box of assorted flavor macaroons. Those were quite good! The creme in each cookie was nicely pronounced and unique with each bite and the cookie itself while having a hard shell crumbled pleasantly from one bite to the next. I was also surprised by their selection of desserts. Yes their puffy pandy's are their specialty, but they have several other types of desserts in a surprising range of flavors. I think they are on to something with the puffy treats. I tried both their ice cream filled pandy and their regular pandy. Both amazing, but not too over the top. If you haven't tried an affogato, do it now. The flavors slowly meld together. You pull out a spoonful of ice cream drenched in espresso.
