Staff was super understanding and patient and walk me through the proedure. They give you earplugs and also play some music through earbuds so you can relax and not hear the loud noises during the scan. They will keep in touch at all moments through a microphone and window. It will last approximately 40minutes but it will depend in the body part to treat. Now, if you need a shoulder MRi, you will also need a Doctor to inject a contrast fluid in your joint. It won't hurt because they use a numbness liquid first ;) So be sure you are going to be in good hands :) Be sure to bring shorts and tank top. No metal. Not even your ring (I was able to feel something with it).

My experience with OPA Orthopedics was completely unacceptable…read more I was referred to OPA after a serious motorcycle accident on July 18 with multiple fractures that required orthopedic follow-up. They received my medical records and imaging, then lost my file. After more follow-up, I was told my records had also not been properly sent over for review, causing even more delay. Then, after weeks of waiting while I was recovering from broken bones, they finally determined that they do not even accept my insurance. So OPA lost my file, failed to process my records correctly, delayed the medical review, communicated poorly throughout the process, and then only after all of that figured out that they could not see me because of my insurance. That is an unacceptable level of incompetence for a medical office dealing with injured patients. This was not just an inconvenience. I needed timely orthopedic care after a major accident, and their administrative failures wasted weeks of my recovery. I would not recommend OPA Orthopedics based on my experience.

This was my first, and last, visit to Westside Dermatology. I had taken my daughter to be seen here…read moreabout 10 years ago and had a good experience. My experience was not. Dr Ramsey Markus was dismissive, brusque, condescending and rushed. I had provided a list of my concerns at the time I booked my appointment, and was prepared to ask all my skin questions and concerns during the visit. Dr Markus dismissed several things I asked him about during exam, including something another doc had told me about a dermatofibroma. His general tone was condescending as if I, without a MD after my name, wouldn't know anything about skin conditions. During my skin check, Dr Markus identified a potential skin cancer and reluctantly performed a biopsy at the time of my visit, per my request - stating his schedule was busy. I understood this, as I booked my appointment in January for first available at the end of April. "Pertinent negatives" section of my visit notes inaccurately stated I had no previous history of skin cancer. I had disclosed when booking my appointment that I had a history of squamous cell skin cancer in 2014. Dr Markus did not specifically offer treatment options for skin tags or milia, as stated in his visit notes. When I asked him about the milia around my eyes, he told me, "some people make milia." Across the board, the visit notes in my file did not reflect what he actually counseled me on, indicating he used canned notes but did not actually verbalize them to me. When I asked about options to treat readiness on the face, Dr Markus gave me a flyer with cosmetic laser treatment options, upon which he circled the options he recommended. He told me there was a shampoo I could use to treat Tinea at home, but didn't provide the name of the product - I had to ask the front desk to get it from the medical assistant as I was checking out. I picked up a brochure on Tinea and Mohs from the treatment room; Dr Markus did not offer them. Appears this dermatologist is quick to offer treatment options that bring in money (cosmetic), but not as quick to share home treatment options or minor procedures (skin tag removal, milia extraction). Biopsy results I viewed in the patient portal were dated 4/29 (4/24 visit). Dr called me on 5/5 (4 business days later) with a positive result of basal cell cancer. He referred me to a Mohs surgery center for treatment. Dr Markus coached me on screening calls when I picked up on his second call. I will not be returning for any elective cosmetic procedures or further skin checks.

She and her staff are really down to earth and instead of being put off by my sometimes weird sense of humor (having my skin checked for melanomas, ya know, that can make a person kind of nervous, and I respond by joking) laughed and felt comfortable sharing their own hilarious stories with me. Definitely the most positive setting for having moles taken off my skin. I had to have a couple "problem" spots removed and NBD; done and done. I opted to get a mole taken off my face purely for vanity reasons, and a couple months later it's healing beautifullly (I mean, obviously it's healed -- I just mean it's fading out now). I also like that Dr. Gee will do things like remove skin tags for you -- I have a friend who went to a dermatologist who made her feel like an idiot for asking. Skin tags aren't a big deal, but if they bug you, why shouldn't you have them removed? Anyway, this is a place I am happy we found.

Unprofessional business practices, she also came off extremely distant and unsympathetic during my office visits, and did not spend much time discussing things with me. She did remove 6 moles (one was stage 1 melanoma) so I am thankful for that, but honestly her staff help (Megan) was the only redeeming quality. Based on her responses to negative reviews, I'm sure she'll try to discredit me, but again - I am leaving this out of a last resort and absolute frustration.

We personally see Dr. Brie Woodruff, DNP, ARNP (nurse practitioner) for primary care. She is absolutely amazing. She has a great bedside manner and is very patient oriented. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience under her belt. She has helped me and my wife through several medical issues, and is always kind and responsive, and very thoughtful in answering questions. Such a great care provider! The front desk staff and billing staff are also really great. They have great customer service skills and are very responsive to questions and concerns. They are always willing to help. The phlebotomy and medical assistants are also great. They really help me with prior authorizations, insurance navigations, and helping me feel relaxed during blood draws. The office is very clean and modern, and has a very nice, relaxed, and great vibe to it. I feel at peace and welcome when I enter the doors. I will say that as a LGBTQ+ client, I feel very affirmed and accepted here, and feel they are very trans competent and affirming with their care. I highly recommend Neighborhood Naturopathic. Dr Lesnak has been my physician for over 10 years, and she's been my son's pediatrician since he was born. All the other docs are great too, when/if she's not available. We can get vaccines, supplements, blood draws and bonus that there are excellent acupuncturists, physical therapists and massage therapists in the same building! I love having multiple practitioners in one building, and close to home.
