Love their samosas - we got mung dal and potato. Both were really good ...I am craving for some while writing this review :). I liked their presentation as well - the box in which the samosas were given was a cardboard box with Seattle samosas written on it. The samosas had a stamp on the bottom to help distinguish which samosa we were consuming. The chutneys - green and tamarind were in sachets. Happened to try this restaurant that only serves samosas. There were 4 - 5 groups already at the restaurant half waiting for the order. The restaurant is serif service style, you order at the front and pay. We ordered butter chicken samosas and garbanzo beans samosas between the two of us that we decided from the staff recommendation. After some times the samosas were ready. They came with a couple of condiments, one spicy cilantro sauce and the other balsamic vinegary sauce. The fresh samosas were hot, flaky out and moist inside. Lots of fillings with curry spices were satisfying. I liked the cilantro sauce on both samosas. We did not have any expectations as this was unexpected visit due to another restaurant we wanted to try were sold out. Surprisingly the samosas were very good. I would def try again. read more

Ordered the chole, mango lassis, and 2 Punjabi samosas to-go. Everything was delicious. The chole had the perfect amount of chutney and paired really well with the crunchy samosa. I loved that the samosas weren't super oily and everything was seasoned well. The mango lassis were the also not super sweet which I enjoyed and you can tell it's fresh. I've never really thought of samosas as being anything other than appetizers. Yummy, but really just tiding you over until the main course. Seattle Samosa has proven me wrong, bringing life to this wonderful Indian treat. And they turned it into a meal in its own right! This trip I ordered two samosas: Spicy Chickpea and Spinach Paneer. The former is filled with a tasty garbanzo beans curry, and the latter the familiar Indian flavor of spinach paneer. These were then placed in a spicy potato curry. The curry is less saucy and more soupy, reminiscent of curries of the North, of Punjab or Nepal. Utterly scrumptious! And surprisingly filling. My girlfriend opted out of the curry this time, and got two samosas, the Butter Paneer and the Spicy Chickpea. These were served with sauces on the side. She loved them. I had my meal with their chai, which they brew there. A perfect chai. Not too sweet or overly milky. Really, just perfect. I even bought a bottle of their brew so I could make it at home! We like Seattle Samosa so much, we've already been three times, and doubtless will be back many more times. It's now one of my top go-to Indian places in Seattle. Don't miss it! read more

I tried samosas from Seattle Samosa at a festival last year, which had a stand at the event. They also have a stand at a few farmers markets' locations in the Seattle area. There were a few varieties to choose from at the event and I opted for the Punjabi and chicken masala. It was a bit pricey, as it was $9 for two. The portion size is more suitable as a snack. You would need something additional to fill you up for a meal. All in all, the taste was fine. It did not stand out as it tasted like any samosa that I had before. But I would consider trying them again if in the same situation of wanting a snack at a festival or farmers market that I was attending. read more

All I can say is I'm just confused- I got two samosas and a mango lassi that set me back $18 . What just happened???? And to my surprise after ordering the mango lassi wasn't even made to order and comes in a 12oz bottle you grab from a fridge. As far as samosas go, some really nice execution here with the pastry which is an afterthought in most places. Here, it's flaky and somehow is able contain some sizeable fillings. I tried both the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, and between the two, I would go with the tikka masala. Each order comes with a cilantro chutney and a date chutney, both were really flavorful. Price wise, it's a bit steep - an order of 2 will be over $10 for chicken. But in a town where one can spend $12 for a beer, $20 for chicken rice or congee, or $25 for a shawarma, fries and a soda, it seems to be the going rate. There are many more varieties, and as it's right across the street from McCarthy and Schiering, I will definitely stop by and try a different one each time! read more

These were great, we got a box of six to go, and I really liked the spicy chickpea and Punjabi samosas. When I read the menu it looked like I had to get six of the same type for a box but they explained I could mix and match anything which was exactly what I wanted! Samosa is one the most popular Indian snack . I went to this place with high hopes. We tried Punjabi samosa and butter chicken samosa. The taste was not good. It tastes like a frozen samosa which you get in the Indian stores. It's absolutely not worth the price tag. I also tried the filter coffee. It was extremely average. read more

Loved seeing a new Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. We got two samosas to go: Punjabi and Paneer. They were both delicious fillings, and the best part was the tender, flakey , yet crispy pastry (I think I usually don't care for samosas because I associate them with tough pastry). They came with two perfect chutneys, a thick green one and a thin red-brown one. At first it seemed like a small amount of food for $10, but I think they're bigger than they look--they were so satisfying! Counter service only. Hot samosas at the farmers market are the best! I have been to their stand at the university district Saturday market and friday at Pike Market. I like how the samosas are imprinted with what type they are for easy identification. They are all quite good and tasty but I think I like the paneer one the best. The service was welcoming and super helpful with explaining their choices. We got samosa meals, basically a dish with two heathy-sized samosas of your choice. Thumbs up on the onion, spinach paneer, butter paneer, and traditional Punjabi samosas. Perfect pastry and standard size. Great vegetarian options, super authentic spices, and they will make your dish as spicy or mild as you like. There are halal meat choices as well but we didn't try them. Condiments included are cilantro purée, tamarind, and some crunchy savory sprinkles--all delicious. They also have their own rose & mango lassis and desserts from an Armenian bakery (we got the honey cake-yum!). I can't wait to go back. Everything is fairly priced and portioned. Was craving samosas and came across this on Google. I didn't realize it was a fairly new business/store front. Ordered a tray of their channa samosas and also tried the spinach paneer, chicken masala, and butter chicken. The pastry is legit. I loved the different kinds they had and they were all good. I would say a bit higher priced than I would think they should be but I will still probably come back and basically stick with bulk orders and freeze them to cut down on the cost. Placed the order (Ordering Window - Monday: 10am till Friday: 9pm PST) and 2 days later.... A box of delicious samosas came to my front door. It made the house smell so good and my household had a samosa tasting test!
