Our son has been getting help from Jenni for more than two years now…read more Before finding Jenni, we tried several different speech therapists, but nothing really clicked. Our son would get bored easily, and the therapists didn't quite understand what he needed. But when we met Jenni, everything changed. Our son absolutely LOVES spending time with her - he literally thinks it's a fun playdate! He gets super excited on days when he gets to see her. Jenni's talent with kids is exceptional. Her play-based methods have been instrumental, as they allow therapy to unfold naturally without any sense of pressure. What truly sets Jenni apart is how knowledgeable she is about various aspects of physical and neurological development, leading to her holistic approach to therapy. She seamlessly incorporates activities that not only focus on speech but also enhance various cognitive functions and behavior growth. For instance, she cleverly integrates activities that boost his memory and simultaneously reinforce his ability to name pictures, or plays board games to teach him to take turns and regulate emotions while practicing speech. Since starting with Jenni, our son's vocabulary has expanded exponentially, and his pronunciation and ability to form sentences has remarkably improved. He now confidently communicates and is easily understood by family, friends, teachers, and peers at preschool. Even with all the improvement, we will continue sessions far into the future because she actively contributes to our son's overall development. What Jenni has done for our son is truly life changing, and we are forever thankful to her! We wholeheartedly recommend Jenni for anyone seeking exceptional support for their child's speech and overall development.

Over the time, we've seen significant improvement on my son's speech ability. Now he's able to communicate with his peers and us without any problems. This also helped him performing well academically in school. Jenni is also a very kind person to get along with. We had many pleasant conversations not related to the therapy too! We're so glad we've chosen Jenni as our therapist!

While the services were beneficial and progress was made, the experience was completely tainted by the lack of organization and unprofessional business practices. When we signed up for services, a discount was offered for having a second child receive services as well. We received services over a nine month period. We paid as went as insurance did not cover any of the sessions. Invoices or monthly statements were never provided and we simply asked them to charge our credit card as we went. About thirty days after we finished the sessions, we received a bill what appeared to be the final sessions. We did not dispute the bill and paid it. We later received another bill and took it as valid and sent them a check. A few weeks later, (now several months since we last received services)we received the check back with a note saying our account was paid in full and we did not owe any more money. Three months later I receive a call from "Pete" at my workplace who is calling to say our account is past due and we owe him $421 and if we don't pay right now he is sending us to collections. I proceeded to explain that his company returned our last payment to us with a statement saying the account was paid in full and that there must be a misunderstanding. He became very rude and beligerent and demanded payment immediately. From here things got worse. Pete harassed us continually. He said the therapist that provided the services did not bill us correctly, that she was not authorized to give an additional child discount and that he was going to reverse the discount and bill the full amounts. A month later he sent us invoices and statements indicating we owe them over $900 and demanded payment. He threatened collections throughout. We did not have anything in writing from them regarding the sibling discount, and as they did not provide on going invoices or statements we had nothing to argue his trumped up charges and invoices. We value our credit and do not want a fight with collections. We paid the $900 and will never do business with them again. Get everything in writing while they are trying to "sign you up" and demand invoices and statements. They are not the friendly "mom & pop" operation they claim to be.

In total, our family has worked with Minette for just over eighteen (18) months. Minette's has an incredible ability to connect with my children. She built rapport and trust, she's honest and engaging. She is able to skillfully walk students (and parents) through testing data and explain what it means. She focused on my children's strengths and uses them to develop their areas of weakness. She's kind, clear, and firm and was just so competent at getting my children to buy in to working very (very) hard and being able to see their gains and improvements. Our successes with Minette: With my dyslexic child--she saw Minette 2x/week. I typically took my child to tutoring during the school day for her sessions with Minette. She started tutoring in January of 1st grade, struggling to read and unable to produce (phonemic) written work--lots of great writing, but nothing that we could read. At the end of first grade she was able to sound out words and read (at level D/E), and do some phonetic writing. At the end of 2nd grade, my child was reading at level M (upper end of grade level) and expanded her writing ability. Most importantly, she learned self-advocacy skills and strategies for reading/catching errors/self-checking and early strategies for writing. The self-checking skills are critical b/c it helps my child understand that mistakes will happen, they need to be caught and corrected, and then you keep on going. With my child who was struggling with writing--she did a few assessments, reviewed some writing samples, and listened to some school history, then crafted several sessions focused on how to organize ideas, how to construct sentences, paragraphs, etc (and punctuation/grammar). After his second session, I received an excited email from his teacher, "[Student] wrote a full page during writing time. It was well written!" Typically, this child would struggle to eek out two sentences. Minette is a highly-capable and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist. She is able to develop, execute, and communicate an intervention plan and keep everyone moving forward and goal-focused. I have recommended her to many families and their experience has been similar to mine. Thank you so much for supporting our family, Minette!

My husband is very supportive and did research on speech therapy for me, and found Minette. I am so thankful. I was extremely nervous upon our first meeting but that quickly went away. Minette made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. I worked with Minette weekly for about six months and made huge strides in understanding my speech. learning about stuttering, how your mouth and tongue muscles all work together to speak was eye opening. The biggest take aways for me were techniques to relax muscles that tense while I read out loud. (I have two young children I read to daily) And also being comfortable and accepting my speech imperfections was huge for me. I highly recommend Minette. She is so down to earth, easy to talk to, and really cares about helping you.

I posted this on Google, but I felt so strongly I had to come to Yelp and post it too:…read more Stride Physio is the best physical therapy practice in the world, hands down. This may sound dramatic, but Trevor and the staff here have literally changed my life. After six years of two right knee surgeries, knee instability, chronic pain, and over a half dozen physical therapists in three states from high school, college, to now, Stride Physio helped me turn everything around. After ten months, today was my last session. Six years ago I completely blew out my right knee skiing off a jump: ACL tear, grade III MCL tear, and meniscus tear. I had a surgery, went through intense athletics-based PT within the Stanford University collegiate training program, and went to college elsewhere and played an NCAA sport. I had instability, chronic pain, and was in constant fear for five years. One year ago I was playing pickle ball and blew out my right knee again. ACL and meniscus tear. I was devastated, and they told me I already had arthritis in my knee at 21. I had another ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair, and the procedure was not pretty, they had to do more since my knee was in such bad shape, and they found the previous surgery was not as good as it could've been. I moved to Seattle and found a PT in SLU, but they weren't as good as I wanted them to be, so then I came to Stride in August of 2022. I saw Trevor and he has helped me recover for the last ten months. The 1:1 focus, knowledge, and care at Stride is unmatched, and Trevor is so incredibly professional, casual, and kind. All of the therapists help each other and constantly are trying to improve, and the front desk staff were very kind to me. It is such a positive, healthy, and encouraging environment. Stride felt like a second home to me, and would always turn my day around. Many times I'd have a terrible and discouraging day, but I would walk in and be warmly greeted by the front desk staff and have a productive session with Trevor, and I would come home feeling amazing. The depth of knowledge that all of the therapists have is incredible, and the attention to detail and respect for the patient's needs is above and beyond. They somehow strike the perfect balance of pushing you to your potential, while ensuring you aren't in too much pain and respecting your body's needs and limits. The equipment they have is adequate and they have everything you'll need. They have a large range of treatments from soft-tissue massage to cupping to squatting in their gym. They even offer yoga on Thursdays. The billing is clear, and the system they use for at-home exercises is effective. Now, I am biking 50+ miles, hiking, running, and signed up for a triathlon in August. My knee feels stronger than it has since before my first tear back in 2018, and my mental health is better than it's been in a long time. I have Stride to thank for all of this. If you are looking for a physical therapist, don't even think, just come to Stride, you won't regret it.
