Gorgeous views of the St. Lawrence River at this hotel restaurant! I prefer dining on their covered patio, but there is plenty of inside dining as well. Some of my dining highlights here: Their charcuterie tray has a generous variety of meats, cheeses, berries, nuts and condiments. At $19, it was a nice value. The clams we had on our first evening here were delicious! These clams are a seasonal Thursday night special, and I'm so glad I was able to try them. One pound of clams is $12.00. A dining highlight of my trip! Their evening bread basket has a variety of bread: olive, French bread and crackers. Also to note are the condiments served with the bread: butter, herbed butter and olive tapenade. Very good. Complimentary at the end of your evening meal is a chocolate dipped cherry on a pillow of whipped cream. Yum! The traditional Eggs Benedict had perfectly cooked poached eggs. It was straightforward and done well. The Seaway Grille also has a large, and fairly busy late afternoon bar! It's a full bar with imported, domestic and regional wine, craft beer, and any type of alcohol drink you desire. A cocktail menu, with some creative blends, may help you decide!

We've been twice in the past month and each time it's amazing! It is the off season but the restaurant in the hotel is open all winter so if you live locally and are looking for a great upscale dinner with a beautiful view of the river this place has you covered! The service was good and the food was delicious. The quality and quantity of the food left everyone satisfied!

Had miso salmon, which was perfectly cooked. The table outside was under a pergola, overlooking St. Lawrence River. Great service! Delicious food! Highly recommend!

One never knows what to expect with a restaurant within a hotel, but the Seaway Grille. didn't disappoint. I had lunch there on 8/17/21. The service, the quality of food and beverages, and the ambiance were all very good. I had the lobster roll sandwich, wasn't sure what to expect, but the it was very tasty with big chunks of lobster and just the right amount of Mayo, etc. I had a tapped brew that was delicious and served in the proper chilled glass. The tables settings include quality cloth napkins, flatware, and plates, so if those kind of things are important to you, then you'd appreciate the Seaway.

We were told it would only take 15-20 min to be seated. We sat at the bar and ordered beers and an appetizer. We weren't officially seated till over an hour after we checked in. We then were placed at the Outside bar which nobody else was seated at. There were spider webs and a dirty counters that we faced. The TVs weren't even on. We waited 30 minutes before they actually took our order, and then it was another 50 min before we got our food!! And during the 59 minutes they never once checked our drinks. The food was delicious but not worth the 2.5 hours we waited for it!! The waiter did give us the 3 beers we drank free of charge, but that did not make up for the time we sat waiting.

It was a delicious lunch. We had the Reuben with homemade chips. Service was wonderful!!! Our server, Nikky, was a pleasure!!! Even gave us a special treat for our 30th!!

Very unfortunate that a nice hotel has an awful breakfast. It started with three employees at the host stand, one on the phone and two others ignoring you. Place was mostly empty and the many employees seemed untrained. All the servers behind the bar making drinks. Why not have a professional bartender on a Saturday brunch. Slow slow slow and then the food. I have never had such overcooked and greasy food. Omelette had brown crust on it and the English muffin was served cold and soggy. Please see the picture of the grease on the plate of eggs. Maybe the cook should go back to school. You might say the food is an example of a classic greasy spoon.

    Inside the restaurant. Very nice!

Is the restaurant open to the public or just to its hotel guest?

My husband and I were not hotel guests, but dined there for brunch the day of the Eclipse in April. No need to be a hotel guest.

Brunch review. I may have came with high expectations because so many people had mentioned this…read moreplace, and it is in such a beautiful location, but we left pretty disappointed. First off, their website is odd. Not much information, quite confusing, sometimes it won't even load (on mobile device), so if you're trying to make a reservation, call them directly. Location, beautiful, along the river, great outdoor seating. I'm sure dinner and sunset is stunning. Good, it was okay. We ordered kids breakfast, huevos rancheros skillet thing, chicken and waffles, biscuit and gravy, and the whisky flight. The huevos ranchero was good, nothing to rave over but good. The chicken and waffles didn't come with syrup at first, I'm sure it was a mistake. The biscuit and gravy... looked amazing, but the biscuits were hard. Like rock hard, and even after sitting in the gravy, no moisture would come back. Haha Service... the lady was so sweet, but she kept forgetting us, she would place hot things right in front of the baby where she would easily grab it. She had a hard time splitting the bill. Ultimately we had to ask another waitress for water refill and splitting our bill. Maybe we will go back... but not in a rush.

Last summer (2024) we went up to find they were not serving meals. Their chef left, they couldn't get servers... I'd check in before you go or ask at their place in Clayton. Food, they make their TURKEY CLUB SOUND amazing, fresh turkey. Server was honest, deli meat. No Go. Ran out of peaches Flatbread and a lot of their drafts. Must have been a busy Friday and Saturday of locals and marina people. Chicken Parmigiana sandwich the cheese wasn't even melted. Score 3. Large fried chicken with sauce and some cheese. Think it was a buruya cheese burger with salad for spouse. Came raw, had to send it back. Beebe server was ok could have brought back out the salad while burger was most likely microwaved. Wasn't remade. Mac salad was just ok. Wouldn't return. Think most of the reviews are locals or marina people. We were able to get a nice space outdoors that faces the marina. We came with the notation that they had gluten-free options. Though it was noted at the bottom of their menus, the server was a little light on the knowledge of what could be gluten-free. It appears they have a lot that can work, but just need a bit more understanding from staff. We got a modified garlic chicken over potato instead of pasta, black and blue nachos, and a Mediterranean platter. The flavors on everything was excellent. There was such a dynamic bite in each of the dishes. Flavors had tremendous depth, and the menu variety was superb. Of note the hummus on the platter had a smokiness that made it unique and delicious. It was better than a standard Mediterranean platter, and I have to applaud them. For improvement, there was not an easily accessible menu online, and that might be one area to work on. Overall, this was a lovely evening and a lovely place for anybody to visit .
