I've been dealing with Seacard Pools in Pico for just over 20yrs, They installed my 3rd vinyl liner just over a year ago, My wife & I left on a 3 week vacation, Upon our return we noticed that our pool water was out of balance & a build up of calcification on our liner at the deepest part of the pool, to make matters worst algae gave it a greenish tint, I headed over to Seacard for advice & help, I was helped by pool specialist Laura Roa ,I explained to Laura the problems I was dealing with & much to my relief she knew exactly what I was talking about & right away knew what actions I needed to take so that I could stop & reverse the calcification build up & water issue. I was really impressed with her knowledge & suggestions concerning my pool as well as the products that I needed. She also had me bring in my pool sweep/vacuum so that she could test it to make sure it was functioning at 100%. I'm happy to report that after one week of treatment & steps Laura Roa suggested, my pool water is almost back to normal & the calcification build up is almost gone, pool vacuum doing what it was intended to do. As a home owner with a liner pool which is in use by my family & grand Kids ,Laura has brought me peace of mind with the knowledge & service she has provided to insure that we get the most fun out of our pool during these hot summer days. After calling numerous pool supply companies, no-one was knowledgeable enough to help me find an adequate pool motor replacement. Many did not know their product well enough to recommend the perfect replacement, but they all sure could quote a ridiculous price of well over $700, not including the wet end (housing). In desperation, my wife and I walked into Secard Pools & Spas in Pico Rivera. There, we were greeted by Greg, very friendly and knowledgeable store manager. He patiently listened to our concerns, answered our questions and suggested the perfect pump replacement for our in ground pool for less than the price I had been previously quoted. Not only did he provide us with the motor, but also with the wet end. I was shocked!. For less than what I had been quoted for only a motor, Greg provided us with the entire unit; pump and wet end for less! He assured us of the quality of the motor, reputation of the manufacture and explained warranty. Additionally, Greg also detailed the installation process, being myself a DIY guy, he provided me with the extra parts I would need and made himself available for any questions, or concerns, I would have during the install and afterward. My Name is Lisa my family and I have had a secard pool since 20 years ago. the first time around our pool lasted 10 plus years. so obviously out next pool should definitely come from Secard again, for us it was the obvious choice no questions asked. We spoke to Joey who guarantied us a smooth job. we started work in the end of summer 2019. everything should have been completed in a a couple of months yet the project wasn't completed until Feb 2020. Before done we had to call them back several times because of the sloppy job then had done with the pool with the woodwork, the railing, even leaving the trash in the back after they had said there job was done. Now two years later after this big o headache there is white spots on the vinyl, and it's making holes in the pool. When contacting Secard they automatically refused to help me and accused me of causing the damage in the liners myself or allowing for children, pets or outside animals. We paid over 11K to get this pool no chump change and all i got was no we can't. All we want is service. I did find the guaranty of service for the liner that said they would cover at least 75% of the pool if it became damaged. Yet no one is doing anything about it. Please Mr Ed don't make this continue to be just a bad experience. read more

I have been happy with my pool purchased from Secard and satisfied with the service. A few months after the pool was installed, there was a problem with the compacted soil that forms the shape for the pool. The company came out, removed the liner, recompacted the soil and reinstalled the liner. Of course it was necessary to drain the pool first, and then refill it - which can be costly with water rates but I have not had that problem again. This repair was covered under the warranty and I did not have to pay Secard to have the problem corrected. I could not have afforded to buy a pool from a typical pool contractor, and because it was so economical, I purchased the "Islander" style from Secard. Now, my wife and I talk about how we cannot imagine how we lived so long in the San Fernando Valley without a pool. read more

I've had my in ground pool for approx. 21 years and love it! I recently had to change the liner (4th time) and I was very disappointed with the service I received from Secard Pools. I was told it would take approx. 1 month, beginning to end, it took 2 1/2 months! Started in May, was installed in August. I get it, it was peak season and they were very busy, but no one ever called me to say "Haven't forgot about you, we've been busy" or "Your pool is on our list in another couple of weeks" ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I had to call them several times and only then did things start to move along and I got an installation date. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the oil. On the good end, the guys that came out to install the liner did an excellent job and were very friendly, so cheers to them and thumbs down to Secard Pools! read more

I would recommend Secard Pools & Spas for all your pool needs . I recently purchased a pool liner for my pool .Greg from the Rosemead store was very professional and knowledgeable about the product.The workers that came to the house did a great job of the installation. Ashly from the main office in Rancho Cucamonga was very accommmodating when she was able to move my installation date up . I had guests coming form out of town for my daughters wedding and the install date was scheduled after the wedding date. Another customer had cancelled their date and Ashly immediately informed me a sooner date was available and was able to re-schedule before the wedding date. After driving all over southern California looking at spas I found Seacard Pool and Spa in Pico Rivera. I called and talked with Greg Budinko explaining I was looking for my widowed friend. Greg ask me questions which were very insightful in picking the right spa for my friend. I met with Greg and we look around and discussed the many options and features of the different spas available . We worked on the cost numbers for our spa and Greg shot me a great number that by far beat any of the competitions. Rachel at Seacards Mother ship location was great on setting up the dilivery and even helped with a crane service. My friend and her great grand child love her new spa. If you need a new spa just go see Greg and save yourself all the time and trouble I went through. read more

Greg Budinko, We meet Greg at the Pomona Fair Grounds and was very pleased with all his knowledge. In 2004 we decided to install our pool, so we went to visit Greg. Greg isn't just a great salesman, he is very knowledgeable, pleasant and great listener to work with plus the staff is also very friendly. My husband and I were very satisfied with everything and everyone from point A to point Z ( the crew did an excellent job plus very clean, both times). In 2017 when went needed a new liner, we didn't think twice we went straight to Greg, again satisfied with Greg's and his staffs help, we were very satisfied again. What a great experience from the sales department to the general help at the store. We could not been more pleased. Setting up the appointment to delivery was easy and accommodating. They worked with my work schedule and were able to deliver at time desired. Most importantly Greg, manager at Rosemead store explained in detail how to operate and care for our new swimming spa. To me it is important to have a quality product but most importantly to have the people to back the product. Secard Pools & Spas has been amazing in their support. Greg Budinko was a great help with arranging the construction of my pool and took care of all my questions, concerns throughout the construction process. The only problem I encountered with the build was the inspection process. Wow, the inspector was a little bit demanding but, I survived. Greg work with me till the end of the construction and thanks to him, the build was painless. My family, friends and of course myself, are very happy with the ending results. Also, I would like to thank Robert and the construction crew in Rancho Cucamonga for all the work they did and the respect they showed towards my family during the build. Great job. I'm writing this review on Leanne & Ralph at Seacard Pool in San Bernardino. I recently bought a water pump from Seacard. I tried to install it my self, but ran into problems. I called Leanne, explained the trouble I was having. Sent pictures to Leanne. She called me right away & said she would send Ralph today to help, at no charge. When Ralph arrived he was, polite, professional & had the pump attached and running in no time. He really amazed me with his knowledge. Just want to thank Leanne & Ralph again. We recently had a pool installed by Secard pools. My friend recommend them and I gave them a call. Greg came out to our house and gave us a very nice presentation. There was no pressure. Just drew up an estimate based on our needs and wants. Well, we thought about it for a while and decided to go for it. :) Everything turned out as promised. The construction company came out and did their thing. Then they sent out their instructor to teach me how to use the equipment and maintain the pool. Greg followed up on everything. We recently bought a swim spa from Secard pools. We couldn't be happier! The whole process from start to finish was fantastic! Greg at Secard was helpful and knowledgeable. I am giving 4 stars only because they didn't know much about crane delivery in my area. Greg told me he didn't know much about it so he was completely honest. The only snafu was that it would have cost about $6000 to have a crane deliver my swim spa. Malibu prices! Way more than anticipated. Luckily my contractor and the delivery guys worked hard to get the swim spa in my yard. Job well done! Happy customer! read more

OMG!!!! Watch out for this place...dont buy anything.. they do o not stand behind their products. read what your signing well .watch out for Greg. It is so apparent he needs his commssion. Guaranteed me I could return the pool liner I bought. i f I changed my mind. That was not the ca se. He was honest with me when I tried to return it and that I should have paid attention to what I was signing. He turns into a jerk when you try to return. Our pool has been done for almost a year now and it was worth every penny. Greg at Secard worked with us the whole time and treated us like we had been friends forever. The crews he sent out were on time and very professional. The liner came out great with no wrinkles and the salt system that they put in is awesome.
