BUYERS BEWARE!!!! We purchased an above ground pool back in July. When we took the pool out of the box it was missing 4 poles. The liner had lots of sand, had water stains and plenty of hair. We returned the pool the following day. The employee tried telling us it had collected dust from being in a wherehouse. We told him we wanted a refund. We had to wait 3 weeks to get a check even though we had paid with a credit card. For a business that's been around 60 years, this is UNACCEPTABLE. read more

Gloria, your primary focus being on Sun rot and not split seems in liner and all of the other customer service issues I wrote about is so telling. Your boy Greg giving me an estimate for $1K more than your sales rep gave me a week earlier, as he was throwing me a bone. Stop making excuses and looking to blame other people. Of course you cant change that as you are not willing to change your companies commitment to quality. Just look at all the negative reviews you have. You don't like the fact I shared about another Liner companies expert assessment, of which I should add that, that company does not have one bad review. Imagine working for a company like that Gloria, oh that's right, you can't because a company like that doesn't have a need for an employee who's job is do deal with the relentless stream of negatives. That company warranties their liner for 6 years which includes Sun Rot, yours is a lousy one year and its obvious as to why. Because you can't keep replacing liners due to the materials being less quality than others. You guys are despicable and a disgrace. The saddest part being that the owner supports the business practices for which you are employed to provide lousy defenses for. Pool liner lasting less than 3 years, same pool guy, same procedure as performed on prior liners. You are in complete denial and are a waste of time and money. Just look at the reviews people, save yourselves the lousy and costly experience that will all be money down the drain in less than 3 years. Other companies liners lasted 7+ years, Secards less than 3. Doesn't take much figuring out. Stop blaming others, stop finding excuses, stop robbing people and pick your reputation up out of the trash where it is. Throw yourselves a bone. We made several calls to them and they did not respond until recently, they are not telling the truth and it's very unprofessional of this company to do business in this manner. I've just recently learned of Secard pools. Its great to have somewhere that specializes in/can help with above ground pools and equipment. I purchased an auto vacuum from my pool and, of course, it didn't fit my existing pool as it came. Let me tell you about customer service for this company.... It sucks. I got a Pool from the 4 years ago. Greg made it fast and easy. I was told that the liner would last 6-8 years. LIE. Lasted 4. Called them, he came to see the same Pool they built to give me a quote. Ok. He was calling to find out if we made the payment. Once payment is done, we shall order. Ok, I said. Made payment. 2 weeks later I get a call that they "lost" my measurements and needed to remeasure. What happened to we will order right away? Guy who came stated once we order we will have a date when it will arrive and we will make a appt to come install. I called 2 weeks later and I get"no we can't schedule yet, right now we are scheduling for end of April. Called Greg, and all of a sudden "I have no control ". We love our hot tub. We can't believe we waited 100 years before having this liquid vacation right in our own backyard. The path to acquiring a spa in our possession took quite a while. We are relentless in our research. We talked to everybody in the LA metro area, including Wayfair.com. We kept running into lengthy wait times and high pressure sales people or just plain bad communication skills. It was easier finding health insurance. SECARD made it fluid and easy from first contact through installation. Not only did SECARD have a wide variety of choices available right now, we found exactly what we wanted AND it was in our price range. As novice spa owners, Manager Greg Budinko didn't talk down to us. He was patient. He told us what we needed to know, answered our questions patiently, and was there for support much later after the tub was at our house and we were figuring it out. What a guy! MY SECARD POOL EXPERIENCE * * * * * 5 STARS! My prized 8X32 foot vinyl 30 year old lap pool is intended as an above ground pool but I did sink it in the ground about 2 feet. (Half height). This pool was in serious liner decomposition and already hanging together by threads of degraded vinyl in the liner department. I was in serious trouble. Even though my liner was only 3 years old, I needed to replace it soon as it was caving in out of the tongue and groove due to a non-professional liner install done by me and my buddy "Crazy Dave"! Online I searched, found and called Greg B. from Secard Pools (Pico Rivera division). He came out on the next Sunday morning (which was impressive) - May 26, 2019 to give me an estimate for both a new liner and installation. I had another comparative vendor to choose from but Secard's price was better by nearly $1000. Incidentally and additionally, I had 4 structural wall breaches on the north side of my pool that were slightly caving in and Greg promised me after both his and his experts examination that if they were "easy fixes", Secard would not charge me. They deemed them easy (whew) and I was thankful that they proceeded to prepare my pool for a new liner that would give me pleasure hopefully for many years to come! Greg's estimate time for install was "mid July." That did not happen until the 2nd week of August (these guys are often booked in advance), but this wasn't a deal breaker for me. Within a few days my pool was restored to showroom perfection. Secard sent out a measuring team which included a nice man named Geronimo, in the interim and later their draining and install team, headed by a 30 year installer vet named Ramon, who also completed both the water draining and the breach fixes both in about 2 hours. They came back the following Monday, installed a new liner track and the new liner on that day as well as filling the pool. On the final day, a Secard team of 3 men came over and cleaned up everything really nice and installed (an optional extra) solar protection swatches to prevent degradation to my North wall pool corners which take on a lot of vinyl eating sun. They even left me a generous supply of chemicals to set up my fresh water (conditioner and chlorine shock) My pool is now very inviting! Vinyl installation companies are hard to find in Southern California. If you are looking for a vinyl pool install team to put your pool together for you so you don't have to mess with it yourself - look no more - Secard was my choice and they ended up being a sound and best choice. My pool never looked so good in 30 years! After all was said and done the customer was King! Thank you Greg B. and your entire Secard team! Had a new liner installed in our 20 year old islander pool last week. In addition, we had new track, a skimmer and wall repair done under the waterfall. The entire project went extremely smooth from start to finish. The crews all worked very hard, were neat, clean and very professional.
