I love this place and I love the people that work here as well. I have gotten two of my cats from here and the process has been amazing both times. I know that my pets were taken care of and loved before I got them and they always make sure they people they let adopt are going to be great pet parents as well. Photos of my cuties includedz

So we went here to just look and see if we could find what we were hoping for, an orange female who was cuddly and maybe 2-4 years old. We found a tortie who was sweet and would lick us but not let us pick her up. We found out she has a sister who was just as sweet with no tail and the pair was adorable. We didn't want to split them so we kept looking. One of the workers encouraged us to look at the male orange cats so we thought, okay why not just look at them. I love kitties of all kinds. Then we met Redmond. He was FIV +, orange, giant, so soft and soooo cuddly. Of course I instantly fell in love. Now I didn't want a male and I wasn't so sure what FIV was but it sounded scary and like it'd cost me a lot of money if I adopted him. I was wrong. FIV is feline immunodeficiency virus, all it means is his immune system is a little weaker than other cats and he's more susceptible to colds and other illnesses (not a big deal since he'll be an indoor cat). It can't be passed from him to my dogs, it's a cat to cat virus and it can only be passed if there's deep bite wounds during a fight. Otherwise, no issue. Normal cat, normal vet visits, Normal pet cost, no worries. So I went through the process of adopting him, the day I went to dog test him went great! He tried to snuggle my dog and other wise didn't have a care in the world that she was there. Perfect for them both. Only down side to this is that he has a limp shoulder for some reason that happened over night, so instead of letting us take him and have to worry about the vet bills, they're keeping him and taking him to the vet until he's 100% and then we can bring him home. Not only did they find us the perfect cat, they educated us and opened our minds on stereotypes/ assumptions, they saved us the money of adopting a cat and then immediately having to take him in to the vet for something that may or may not be expensive. So thank you Second Chance for not only giving us the blessing of Pumpkin (Redmond) but taking into all counts of consideration for immediate help to our new kitty and the financial consideration of new pet owners!

Thank you SC for letting us adopt Loverboy. Now named Bunny because we fell in love with him on Easter. Also thank you for the goodie bag, it really helped with the transition.

Animall seems to have guinea pigs and cats available for adoption all the time, and then at certain times, dogs and rabbits. There's a store cat that hangs out by the register ignoring people as they pay for their goodies. The rabbits and guinea pigs don't seem to last long, as there's usually an "adoption pending" sign within a short time. The big open space near the front of the store, during adoption events, usually has a large open top cage for the dogs. Like Kristen said in her review, there's a lot of space here, and not a lot of product. But, what they do carry, at least in the non-food items, is a little different than what you'll find in the big box stores. The mugs and picture frames, for example, are adorable. If you're in the mall, this is a place worth visiting to pick up a small toy for your four-legged friend or a gift for yourself. And if you don't have a furry friend, you can adopt one here. Animall makes it easy to shop, find a furry friend, and stock the house with the required pet accoutrement. And if you don't want to adopt, it's nice knowing the proceeds from any sale here goes to various pet shelters in the area.

Check out their calendar -…read morethey are always having different rescues in the area bring their dogs up for adoption on the weekends. This is a pretty big store but found that their selection was just okay - there was a lot of bare space. They do have some pretty cool dog toys that I haven't seen before - which is a nice break from the typical toys. They have an okay selection of dog food - great no grain selection. They have kittens, hampsters, and guinea pigs there for purchase but a pretty small amount of actual supplies. I will definitely be back for more events and to get my favorite no grain brand...but I probably wouldn't go here for supplies.

‍Reactive dog owner here!…read more I'd like to start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at any of the Unleashed locations! The staff at each store are absolutely phenomenal. I frequent this store for their dog bathing station. General Unleashed info: I always call ahead to reserve a spot for a bath- you must do this to ensure they have time for you. Baths are reserved for an hour. They usually fill up quickly for a weekend spot but I've never had any issues with same day reservations so long as you are flexible. I also really appreciate that the staff has always been super considerate and understanding when I specify that my dog is reactive to both other dogs and some people. I usually let them know while he looks super approachable because he's so fluffy and cute () he's kind of a butthead with strangers (). They always respond with kindness and politely give him plenty of space when we come in- and also let us know if there are other dogs in the store when we come in! I cannot tell you how much reassurance this gives us as owners to a reactive dog- we appreciate this courtesy so much! Protip: buy the frequent bather card! $60 for 4 baths and your 5th is free! They link this to your phone number so you don't have to worry about losing the card and it is good for use at any of their locations! Cary specific: The bathing area is in the back of the store where they stock bigger items. There is a baby gate and curtain you can use for some privacy but as my dog is reactive and as the location of the bath is open to the public I do wish there was a door just for peace of mind. We have had instances where other curious customers try to peek in the bathing area which has caused my pup to freak out a bit. The room is a little tight but you can make do with two adults plus your pup. I would say the bathing station is a good size for dogs up to the 60-ish lb range. 70 and up might be a tight squeeze. The always are stocked with plenty of soap/conditioner/ear cleaning/grooming tools! TL;DR $15 self bathing station, well worth the price for not having to clean up/well stocked bathing area and very accommodating staff.

Also, what a cute business name?! have heard good things about Woof Gang in the past and when I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the table display of homemade treats. The two women working let me know that the treats are made fresh, in-house every day, which I wasn't expecting! I don't remember their names, but they were super friendly and helpful. They have 2 locations in the Raleigh-area, I believe. The parking in Cameron Village isn't always the greatest, but depending on the time you show up, you may still be able to snag a spot in front of the building. We walked away with a few frosted treats, a bag of their brand's treats, and a duck head (we heard these were so popular!). I think the prices were pretty fair considering this is a gourmet pet shop/groomer but did read a sign that said prices would be changing come 2021. I would definitely come back again! I'm so glad I checked Woof Gang out!

On two separate occasions, my dog came home with injuries--once with her paws cut too short to the point that she required veterinary attention, and another time with an injury near her eye. Despite giving the business the benefit of the doubt after these incidents, I continued to try their services. After booking a future appointment, I was then called and informed that they would be cancelling and no longer providing services for my dog moving forward. While I understand any business can choose to discontinue service, the decision felt abrupt given the history of prior incidents and lack of resolution or discussion. Overall, I am disappointed with both the safety experience and the way the situation was handled. I would not feel comfortable recommending this groomer to others.

There is a clinic where they do spay and neuter and across the parking lot is adoption. They have everyone come in for drop off at 7:30 and pick up is at 3:30. They will do rabies and vaccines included in price and also offer microchip and post op pain meds for additional cost. The prices are very reasonable, I believe it was $85 for neuter. If you don't have hard plastic rectangle type carrier, they will have you transfer pet to one of theirs. My cats came out of operation and were so happy to get out of carrier. Contrary to what I thought, they had the zoomies from being confined all day but were back to normal next morning. We were told to separate them at first but they are so bonded, they just weren't having that. The check in process was first come first served and took awhile but line moved and staff seemed caring and took their time with any questions.
