I am only rating them 1 star, no followup from any of the team at Servpro. My insurance covered…read morethem but it was one thing after. What a catastrophe for the flooding on my kitchen floor, they bungled everything. When the repair was done, wooden floor was refinished, stained & dry & we returned from a local hotel, the Moving company responsible for moving furniture from the 1st floor to the garage & my Master moved everything back, one would have thought they would have used the SOFT/Felt floor pads that I was advised to purchase & actually put them on the bottom of all the furniture. No, they just slid all of the furniture in & scratched the new floor. I called, the supervisor came out, he knew they were responsible. We would have to be resettled ( my disabled husband, cat & dog) in the same hotel at THEIR expense. I decided way too fast, I should have told him, give me a week. But I just couldn't go through the hell I went through again. I since have regretted my decision. Stay away from this company.

There are far better restoration companies than Servpro. What was supposed to be a 3 week project…read moreturned into 22 months disaster after my home had substantial moisture damage. The crew was so incompetent that they were fired on their last day. Moisture was immediately detected again under the new flooring, causing the insulation to fall and the floors to buckle as soon after moving back home from living in a hotel for five months while the project sat mostly abandoned. It took a long time for ServPro to return to finish the work, redo The poor quality work and to replace the flooring again. There was a leak in the sewer pipe that was overlooked the first time by their incompetent crew. The house sat cold all winter without any insulation, only bare subfloor and exposed walls and no electricity for four months and they claim there is no way this would cause a leak in the pipes. Their way of covering it up by offering to fix it so that I wouldn't have to take out a second claim; gaslighting at its finest! ServPro doesn't care about the hardship they place on homeowners and their families when they do not show up for work and having their home out of sorts for so long. They often abandoned my house to attend to other projects that were more of a priority. The project manager was consistently rude and unprofessional and difficult to work with. Communication was a real struggle with him including delayed or no responses to emails or any regard to stick to a time line, inability to communicate with his crew when they do not follow the punch list and refusing to do a final walk through in a timely manner and stormed out of my house when his crew broke light fixtures, door handles, and caused more cosmetic damage the second time around even though I told him I would take care of the damages myself when he refused to offer me the warranty. Some of my personal items got damaged including my grand piano and dining room table when they promised they would take a good care of it. There were beer bottle caps and cigarettes all around my property During their first visit. The list goes on and on. At the end of the day, I'm happy to be done with ServPro even though they refuse to honor the warranty. Do your research. ServPro is not in good standing with business accredited agencies. There are still broken items and incomplete punch list but ServPro has yet to resolve the issues. If you are in need of a restoration company, I'm so sorry about your home but I wouldn't wish what I went through with ServPro on anyone.

I had a house fire! Servpro was hired by My USAA to inventory and repair The items they could…read morerepair. My first contact was with Matt (he is prior air force) He was extremely professional he assured me that they would do everything they could to protect my 20 year military collectables, he told me step by step what his company would do. He said everything he could to assure me that I would be respected and always know what was happening. The crew that showed up with their team leader Katie. In my 20 years in the AF, 12 years as a manager at Copper Standard a auto part manufacture and even 11 years as a youth pastor. I have met a handful of natural leaders! Katie is the best of the best! she met with me Described what was going to happen, and she introduced me to her team Ashley and Ethan. As a leader you are only as good as your weakest link. And there was no weak links both of them were top of the line workers. If I had to rate the 3 workers it would be easy. Ethan: young hard worker, mature by 20 years higher then his age. propelled to provide the best he can for his customer. Ashley: hard worker with a never quit attitude, very personable can talk to anyone and make them fell like they are winners. I didn't stay for everything they did but I stopped by on a regular basses and I never saw them alacking they were working no-stop. Katie: of all the supervisors I have had contact, I met one that was being reproach always positive, hard working, one of the best conversationalist I have came in contact. professional at all times. always kept me advised what was going to be done. enshrining that her team had everything they needed at all times. This team Katie, Ashley and Ethan should be the bench mark for all teams and workers. servpro has the best workers, leaders and supervisors they could hire. If I was servpro I would do what I could to ensure they did whatever they could to keep these workers. If I was still in the work field I would do what I could to poach Katie and then lure Ashley and Ethan to be valued members of my team. Servpro is the best in the business!

After Hurricane Florence our house suffered severe flood damage. On 9/27/18 we signed a contract…read morewith SERVPRO of Lenior Duplin and Jones Counties for remediation. Austin Smith, Project Manager for SERVPRO estimated a cost of to complete the project. At that time, we gave a deposit. On 10/1/18 Austin advised us work would be started on Oct. 2nd and would take approximately 7-10 days to complete the job. Between 10/1 and 10/17 I had many telephone conversations with Austin. I told Austin we would be coming down from Virginia to Wallace to start work with the contractor who would re-build the home and settle the SERVPRO payment on 10/17. At no time between 10/2 and 10/17 was I told that the job was delayed or would not be fully completed by 10/17. When I arrived at my home, I found the job was far from complete. Specifically: * The crawl space was soaking wet * The floors were wet in many areas * The house had not been sprayed for mold since mold was still seen throughout * The wood shelving/entertainment unit that was built into the living room wall had not been removed from the home. Mold was all over it. * I did not see any drying equipment on site. It looked like the drying equipment was never used in the house. On 10/17 I again spoke with Austin and instructed him that we were going to find another provider to complete the remediation and that I wanted a refund of the deposit. I also contacted the owner of the franchise on 10/18 and spoke of our dissatisfaction with the lack of work performed, poor communication and demanded my deposit back. He noted that a refund would not occur and that we actually owe them more money. This will definitely not happen.
