He took half of it to go. I loved the spring berry salad to which I added grilled shrimp. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. I tasted their summertime special beer which is brewed using strawberries- didn't care for it so I went with wine! Zach was our server. He was very nice.

Yummy food/drinks, but watch what you order…read more.. Came here for a family meal and was given several unexpected upcharges and practices that felt like being nickeled and dimed. First, the pricing transparency on modifications is frustrating. My son ordered the $12 mac and cheese (which includes a drink). Upon ordering the server offered broccoli or chicken as an option. He chose broccoli, assuming it was a standard side swap or inclusion. Instead, we were charged $1 for the broccoli and an extra $3 for the fruit. Second, drink pricing was a letdown. -For $14 the frosted coconut margarita was served in a short highball glass rather than premium glassware. -I was charged $17.57 for a double Malibu Pineapple, (they added an extra $1 charge just for the pineapple juice mixer). -To top it off, the drink took 12 minutes to arrive because our server was preoccupied with a recently seated large party. Finally, be aware that they add an automatic 3% "Kitchen and Brewer Appreciation" surcharge to the bill, on top of normal tax and tip. While the food was great, the unbundled charges for standard mixers, deceptive side options, and extra surcharges leave a bad taste. Food: Rueben was great. Husband wished for more sauce but I thought it was the perfect balance. Kiddo loved the broccoli and mac. Pro tip: Check your receipt (which we didn't get until *after* we cashed out). Server (who was great, by the way) came to our table in a break from his large table and announced our total so we didn't see the breakdown until the text receipt arrived.

For a hotel pub this place exceeded our expectations. Granted it is at a high-end Marriott in Vail…read morebut still the food was excellent. The smoked salmon deviled eggs were almost shocking. The first bite surprised me and interested me and my girlfriend looked at my face and said how are they? I told her I didn't want to prejudice her so just to take one and tried herself. She did and the look on her face was probably like mine, surprised. We both agreed that they were different than any other deviled eggs we had ever had and they were very delicious. The presentation was very nice as well. We shared a beet salad and they split it onto plates for us and it was more than enough for each one of us. We also split a pasta 25 which was good but I had to ask for salt-and-pepper as it was in need of some spices. This is simply the bar/pub in a busy hotel but the kitchen really has it working! The staff did a good job as well but they are mostly very young people working seasonally so you are not going to get professional waitstaff as you would in a high-end restaurant like Leonora. It was still a great experience in the food was surprisingly good and super convenient since we were staying in the hotel.

I really don't expect a five star meal at a hotel bar restaurant…read more However, I would not come back here. The food was not very good at all, with the exception of the huge quesadilla appetizer (which came with a ton of fun toppings). The service was terrible. The music was nice. I ordered the turkey panini. Huge serving. Turkey, pesto, spinach, cheese, tomato, bacon. All these ingredients, but somehow this was very bland and soggy. The bacon was barely chewable and had no flavor as well. It came with a side salad. The salad looked delicious but had no flavor or dressing, and the few small croutons on top got soggy from the wet salad toppings. Yuck. I also tried the elk burger. My fiancé ordered this cooked medium. The sides were cooked fine, but the inside looked like ground beef you'd see in the raw meat aisle at a grocery store. He was unable to eat any of the middle of the burger because of this. Now we would've complained about the burger because this was health hazard undercooked inside, but our waitress never returned to ask how our food was until our food was long gone. No water refills so we refilled our own glasses with my reusable water bottle. No bill until literally 30 minutes after we asked her (and this was long after we were trying to figure out why she was not coming back to our table). It was a bummer because she was very nice, but we got no actual service from her.
