Beautiful views of the mountains and the golf course. Service so wonderful. Patio seating has great ambiance. To top all of this, the food is delicious. The Thai sticky ribs were out of this world. We were greeted by the hostess, Summer, and seated right away when we arrived. Summer was very personable. We chose to sit outdoors on the patio. There was a great view from the patio. Our server Yoko was also great & engaged with us throughout our dinner. Everyone that we interacted with including a male employee that was celebrating his birthday were nice. I ended up ordering the sticky ribs and Buffalo cauliflower. The ribs were tender and the kimchi gave them a welcoming kick. I really enjoyed them. The Buffalo cauliflower was good. I got a complimentary dessert since it was my birthday. I chose the bananas foster. It was served warm with ice cream. All of our food was plated nicely. This is a great place to go for a lunch or dinner. This restaurant is located inside the golf course of River Valley Ranch in Carbondale. If you seat on the patio, the views are incredible. But even if it is a little cool and you want to sit inside, you have great view. The food is really delicious and not pretentious at all. This time around we had the Thai style ribs and they were scrumptious. And I ordered the fish tacos that were also really good. And my husband ordered the salmon that he absolutely loved. Our waiter was fantastic, but sadly, I do not remember his name. My husband and I went alone, but we ended up being joined by some friends when we had almost finished our meal. Our waiter did not even blink to accommodate all of them and we ended up having a wonderful evening altogether. read more

Happy they are open for Fall and Winter. Yay! The service is great. They try really hard to take care of their customers and they do a wonderful job. Friendly staff! Lots of heavy food choices on the menu. The oil for the fried foods needs to be changed or separate for frying wings. They had a fish flavor. Chicken tortilla soup was a thick cheese soup with jalapeños. Peculiar. I would not order it again. Flatbread pizza was good. First, the view is spectacular, I sat by myself for 2 hours waiting for my boyfriend to finish his round of golf and I enjoyed it very much! We had a nice meal here as we passed through on our way from Breck to Crested Butte. The patio makes the place - sitting on a golf course with a grand view of surrounding mountains. The food was solid I'd say, not memorable, but good. The service was OK and could definitely be improved but it was also friendly, just a little sluggish. Not going to lie, this place was a bit of a mess. It was a recommendation from our Airbnb hosts, so we did not know it was the country club restaurant until we showed up but it actually had a very pretty view from the back patio. The host was ALL OVER THE PLACE. There was a party of two in front of us, that he kept skipping over to seat other parties, so when he offered to seat us in front of them, I pointed out that they had been waiting longer, but he told them it would "just be a little bit longer." I assume he was waiting for a two-top to open up for them, but without any explanation given, it just felt very weird. The rest of the experience was fine. Our server was friendly and most of the food was good, though I really did not care for the buffalo cauliflower, which came with a chili garlic sauce on top? Stunning view, perfect for a leisurely meal! The food was good and the staff was friendly and accommodating as I made some substitutions to my order. At 5:30 pm, our group of 11 came into the establishment(5 couples, one solo). When the waiter arrived, we confirmed if separate checks could be accommodated, one for each couple and one for the solo. The waiter agreed that it would be no problem. First, drink orders were taken. For some reason, two draft beers failed to appear at the table whilst cocktails were delivered speedily. Upon first inquisition as to the status of the beer order, the waiter said " we are working on things". After more time passed, we had to get up to again ask the waiter as to the status upon which the beers appeared. The food orders then appeared and desert was ordered and delivered. When the check arrived, it was not separated but was one consolidated check. The waiter then said he was not going to create separate checks apparently due to a "required" 20 percent tip. When asked if the bill could be paid by separate credit cards, he then said that he could only accommodate 4 credit cards. So now the waiter decided to divide the total bill by 4 and each credit card provided would pay the divided amount. That is except for the 4th card which amounted to significantly less. The waiter then explained that the 4th card would include the 20 percent of the bill amount into the tip entry. When asked if we could speak to the manager, the waiter said there is no manager on site which means the waiter was acting on his own accord as he saw fit to get his 20 percent tip. At 8:30 pm, our group of 11 left the establishment scratching our heads over the most incompetent and obnoxious bill presentation ever experienced by any member of the group. Unbelievable but a true. An example to be used of how poor customer service can leave a bad taste regardless of the flavor of the food. read more

After ordering over 100$ in food, we waiting 45 minutes for our food as we watched the other two families in the restaurant eat their meals. Finally after not receiving our meals we confronted the workers who were sitting inside doing nothing and ask why 5 burgers took 45 minutes to cook. Homestead Grill never even put in our order after watching us starve outside for almost an hour and we angrily left the shitty place. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone for their terrible service and overpriced food. read more

Such a relaxing place to get a meal, between the amazing views and the cozy cabin feel. The fish n chips were amazing, and everything else we've eaten there has also been delicious.
