The order was for during a working meeting and I left clear instructions to deliver to the third floor, where my office is, and if the door was locked, to leave it on the table outside of the door. Not only was it not delivered to the third floor, but it was left on the ground. Food should never be on the ground, really, even if it is in a bag. And with this being an office building with many other businesses, leaving this at the main entrance, unattended under the Christmas tree, it had many opportunities to be taken, stepped on, or become cold as this was left right outside the main entrance to the building. At lunchtime. Food was good, though they gave us four spoons for one mac & cheese and one broccoli cheddar. The bag even said "2 spoons" on it... On the positive side, Barb from the restaurant responded to my review right away and offered to make it right.

They don't keep this stuff updated on their website so you won't know until you're there. They have screens telling you when your order is being prepared vs when it's ready. You may also hear some employees shouting out numbers once they're ready. The wait time has been at least 20 minutes whether we got a burger or pizza. The sandwich shop seems a little less busy so might be a good stop if you're in more of a hurry. Bummed they got rid of the food truck area but looks like they have some of those offerings here in the marketplace.

The 3.5 star theory is proven true…read more Let me explain. When you're dealing with Asian restaurants-- be it buffet or otherwise, you ALWAYS go for the 3.5 star rated ones. Why? It's because you know the food's going to be good. You don't go there for service. You don't go there for a wine and dine 5-star experience. You go there for all you can eat food. That's the primary goal. If I rated this based on the 3.5 star theory scale, it would be a 5 star. And guess what I'm gonna do next time I go? I'm going to post a 3 star review so mine averages to 3.5 stars. I literally went to this place purely because it was 3.4 star rated when I checked. This was my first experience. Why is 4-star too high? Because it usually means it's fancier, has higher prices, better service... REMEMBER -- if a buffet is 4 or 5 star rated... it's going to have 4 or 5 star pricing!! That's why you go for the 3.5 star. Not 3, that's too low. Chances of food poisoning start getting out of the comfort zone. When I went here, the staff didn't really bother being nice or smiling. They weren't rude, just not really accommodating. You know what I thought about that? One word. "Perfect." Total wait time of over one hour. Just overall disppointed that our order wasn't correct for multiple reasons, replacements did not quite make up for it, and the wait time time was unreasonable for what we ordered and the amount of customers. 2 stars for the good bread and everything was served fresh and (temperature) hot! Hopefully Secret Hot Chicken can figure out their timing, whether it's cooking or staff related. I would personally not come back unless I ordered ahead on Toast Tab and had a confirmation it was ready, and would check my food for accuracy before leaving.

I'm normally not big on spicy dipping sauces, but the sauces here were so flavorful that I actually kept going back for more. Everything worked together perfectly. Simple order, great flavors, and exactly what I was craving. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, and Thai Orchid easily became one of my favorite Thai restaurants I've tried. 100% recommend!
