The 3.5 star theory is proven true. Let me explain. When you're dealing with Asian restaurants-- be it buffet or otherwise, you ALWAYS go for the 3.5 star rated ones. Why? It's because you know the food's going to be good. You don't go there for service. You don't go there for a wine and dine 5-star experience. You go there for all you can eat food. That's the primary goal. If I rated this based on the 3.5 star theory scale, it would be a 5 star. And guess what I'm gonna do next time I go? I'm going to post a 3 star review so mine averages to 3.5 stars. I literally went to this place purely because it was 3.4 star rated when I checked. This was my first experience. Why is 4-star too high? Because it usually means it's fancier, has higher prices, better service... REMEMBER -- if a buffet is 4 or 5 star rated... it's going to have 4 or 5 star pricing!! That's why you go for the 3.5 star. Not 3, that's too low. Chances of food poisoning start getting out of the comfort zone. When I went here, the staff didn't really bother being nice or smiling. They weren't rude, just not really accommodating. You know what I thought about that? One word. "Perfect." Because I knew it meant the food was about to be good as hell, especially for all you can eat. They only had styrofoam cups and plates, as well as plastic silverware. Yet again, I thought "perfect." Because unlike some other reviews, I remind myself I'm literally in a strip mall Asian buffet in Wisconsin. I'm not at a Michelin star restaurant. I am here to stuff myself all you can eat. And you know what? The food was delicious. Even better, this restaurant does not put butter in their rice or noodles. Typically, Asian buffets will put a LOT of butter in the fried rice and/or noodles because it makes you fuller even faster. This restaurant does not do that. They don't cheat their way to having you eat less. The food is what you come here for. Not amazing service. Not presentation. Not to be wined and dined. You come here to stuff yourself. This is why the 3.5 star theory is the way to go ladies and gentlemen. And, of course, with 3.5 star rating, I got 3-star pricing. $30 for my wife and I to eat here. No food poisoning. No out of budget dinner date. If you don't believe the 3.5 star theory, I challenge you to try it. Compare the 3-stars with the 4-stars next time you go out. I promise you the 4-stars are on the pricier end. Sure it's "nicer" in theory but the 3-stars carry too much risk. With 3.5 you get the pricing of a 3 without the risk. Sure the service isn't the 4-star level but again, you're not going here for service! You're going here to have all you can eat and pig out! read more

I don't think I've ever dished out a mere one star. My family went here for a fun weekend lunch. What transpired was an afternoon of disgust and disappointment. Nearly nothing on the buffet looked good. The restaurant was dirty too. The chairs and tables were sticky. Excellent lunch stop with my son. The lunch buffet is about $12 per person. We were greeted and seated within seconds of walking in. Drinks arrived quickly while we filled our plates. Mongolian beef, pork with mushrooms, chicken on a stick, and vegetable egg foo young were excellent. Sushi choices were limited but tasty. As much as I used to love Asian Buffet & Grill, after the last few times I ate there I questioned if I want to stop anymore. The hibachi never reopened after the COVID-19 pandemic, which is a huge disappointment cause there are so few places that do hibachi in Milwaukee and theirs was pretty good, and the lo mein on the buffet is near flavorless sticky noodles with almost nothing else mixed. It's not all bad; I have discovered a love of their honey chicken, which has a nice sweet sauce and crispy breading, and the egg rolls are still decent tasting, especially for a buffet. It's funny, I've been coming here so long that my 10 year old son, who I brought with me in a car seat when he was a baby, is almost taller than the lady who I assume is the owner cause she's here pretty much every time I've stopped for over a decade. She recognizes us every time and it's great to have that connection. My hope is that the food that's on the decline improves and the hibachi reopens at some point. read more

Four of us came here because three Chinese Restaurants in Menomonee Falls were closed on a Tuesday!!!! (one permanently). No Hibachi was being offered at the time we were there (midday), but a very large array of offerings were available with many meats and desserts. Went here for lunch randomly just to try and was disappointed everything was nasty that was on my plate. Along with the taste, the food was very dried out and had lost its freshness from sitting out too long in my opinion. Service seemed rushed and like they were watching me as I went about the buffet area to fill my plate. After I didn't finish my plate fully I was asked for my card before I was ready to exit to pay. When I went to the pay area my card was just sitting there unattended, very unpleasant first experience there and it's not worth me going back. A friend and I went to eat lunch today at this establishment. The buffet was well stocked. Sadly, a couple of the dishes were not piping hot like I prefer. However, everything was very tasty. They were quick to clear your plates when you were finished with them. Staff was very friendly. Everything appeared clean. I did have to use the restroom and it was neat and tidy in the ladies room. I have been there several times this last year and it has a great selection of food (Asian & other's) at a very reasonable price. The servers at very friendly and helpful. (They brought some fresh chicken when I asked for a specialty once.) It is a place I can bring friends or even come alone without looking out of place. I absolutely love this place! My family stopped in here for lunch yesterday and we were so impressed by the quantity and quality of food. I've been here before as well and it never disappoints. They have so many options to choose from and everything I tried was fresh, hot, and delicious. They have traditional americanized asian food, sushi, hibachi, comfort food such as pizza and mashed potatoes, a huge dessert and salad bar, and an ice cream machine with toppings. Unfortunately, yesterday they didn't have the hibachi open, but I feel this place is still deserving of five stars. I've tried many other Chinese buffets in the area and this is the one that we keep coming back too. The honey chicken and teriyaki chicken were two of my favorites. The dining area isn't anything too special, but that's not important to me. I highly recommend this place for your next Chinese buffet fix. read more

Asian buffet is located in an older strip with plenty of parking spaces. It is a pretty good buffet for about $9 to include your drink of NA drink. I am a fan of Hibachi, and they do a good job of offering a select amount of proteins and vegetables with 6 sauces to add to your dish. Please do no forget to tip, it is not necessary but it is a thing. Also their hot tea My wife likes to try a bite of everything and really likes the medium heat of the General Tsao's chicken and everything she had she enjoyed. We've been here about a half dozen times and it is a nice break from pizza, burgers or Mexican food. It is an older restaurant that could use a refresh, but it is what is and it is a good buffet for a decent price for the quality that receive. Try the Hibachi! read more

The buffet has a 50+ food options available for lunch & dinner. Some of my favorites are: Mongolian beef, honey chicken, teriyaki chicken & hot / sour soup. Don't forget the fresh diced green onions & crispy wanton strips as toppings for your soup. The sushi station is usually pretty sparse. Less than 10 pieces of various rolls available during my visit at 1pm today. The station was not replenished during my hour+ visit. Staff is always super friendly & attentive. Found a small spider looking bug in my food. I advised worker what I found and she loudly said it's a small crab. She loudly said "we've never have gotten complaints." I advised her I was concerned because the restaurant did not have (options) dishes on the buffet that had crab. She became insulting and continued to not address the issue but repeatedly said out-loud no one ever complained. My issue was never resolved. I will not return. read more

This was a first time family random outing here and I see many more I the future. We came in on a Thursday evening and were immediately sat and allowed to then go crazy at the buffet. It surprised me that's this place has hibachi as a walk up included with the buffet. Our group consisted of a year and a half baby, two children, and three adults. The seating options were easily customizable and allowed ample room for a high chair on either end of the table. The food: Everyone found at least two different options to choose from and my picky kids had two plates of food before venturing into the desserts. When I do go to buffets, I typically go to New China Buffet on Hwy 100. I have driven past this place many times and thought I would try it. Let's say when I got home I had to gargle with mouth wash in order to rid the sweet aftertaste. I had about 3 plates of various items which was mainly shrimp and squid. Those were fine except the shrimp was not deveined. But the Mongolian beef and lo mein was overly sweet. Another chicken dish was soo cold. So I am surmising the food is not freshly made. I have been disappointed with the overall Asian food in the Falls. Panda Express and Nihao is actually better than most the places. Now I eat out less and cook Asian food at home. Additionally the food was too sweet for my mom and she took a couple bites and could not eat anymore. She was charged full price and when I said something they have us a $3 discount. Really can't say enough about "staying away" from here. Disposable plates and plastic cutlery. A/C... nah, it's hot inside... and things are sticky to the touch. Food is either stale... like put out again from yesterdays left overs or just old. Flavor.. not much. Everything is brought in from Sysco or some other supplier and seems to be the lowest quality you can order. Soft serve Ice Cream is really Ice Milk and the vanilla is yellow, not white. A lot of the hot food was barely hot. Big place but not a lot of people there. We were there at 6:30 on a Wednesday evening in July. 80 degrees out side and close to that inside. The air system was blowing air, but it was just moving around the hot air. The booths are worn out and every time the man behind me moved.. the back of my booth seat moved too. Wait staff seems to be very sad, and not very friendly. The FRESH Sushi and Habachi areas are long closed, but the signs for both are still out front. There were a few pieces of sushi presented, but they looked dry and displayed behind a sign warning you about consuming raw or under cooked foods. read more

This place is a huge restaurant. First time and last time eating there. You use plastic forks and knives, styrofoam plates and cups. The grill part is closed but you don't know that until you are already seated. The sushi had about 8 pieces and was never refilled. A significant amount of the hot food had a spoon or two worth of food and that was it. Just not very appetizing. They did take the dishes away in a timely manner and refilled drinks. A coworker and I decided to venture to this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon to partake in the lunch buffet. I'm normally not a fan of buffets, but thought it'd be worth a try. Right away the exterior should have deterred me. This restaurant is located in a deteriorating strip mall behind Su Casa. Nevertheless, we ventured in. The food smelled awesome, we were seated right away and headed for the buffet. Our first impressions of the food were great. There was a large selection of fruit, chinese food, sushi, ice cream and other desserts. All the food I picked out was good. So good, that I went back for seconds..and this is when it went horribly wrong! I came back to our table with a horrified co worker staring at a ROACH crawling on our table!! I was so disgusted I could barely keep my food down. We proceeded to grab our waitress and showed her the said critter. Her response? Well, she didnt seemed surprised. She grabbed a napkin, killed it, PUT IT ON OUR PLATE and took it away. We left in a quick fury and never looked back. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone eat here...ever. read more
