First impression of the salon was good, it is big salon and so far I have only seen two employees. Their prices are steep for the service and quality your are getting. Been there three times, twice I thought I will give it another try.. unfortunately did not get better, but got worse medi/pedi I say nay nay. I paid less for a much better and quality medi/pedi. I had regular nail polish and it was chipping off already the next day, so decided to remove the nail polish come to find out, that my old nail polish was still showing a bit on a couple of my fingernails. Making an appointment may not get you in at that time you made the appointment...I had to wait for another 30 min... poor planning on their side. PS. Count on being charged $20 for removing gel nail polish if you decide in the middle of the service you want regular polish instead on your toes. I took my daughter for a mani pedi. They took so long to get to us even though I made an appointment. My daughter kept asking if they would ever get to us. My gel pedi still shows brush strokes in the polish and it looks messy around the edges. My daughter's manicure had peeled off entirely before she even went to bed that night. Polish all over, uneven shapes on all nails, none match, could care less if I complained about the pain & rough sanding down on the acrylic. Worst salon experience. They could care less I see. I usually done my nails in Las Vegas. But, because im going out of country on monday so i decided to try this place to do pedicure. The service was not that good with the money that i paid. I usually paid lesser than what i charged today! I always do my nails and this is the first time ever that im not happy. I can hold pain, but bad result is a no no. I didn't say it when i was there cause i will feel bad to the girl that did my nails. Also i got no time for it. Came to this place to try it out ! Looks very nice from the pictures. Made an appt for me and my friend to get a full set each. When we arrived there was only 1 nail tech. She did my nails then my friends going back and forth. We each had to wait for the other.. which took longer.. which we didn't mind but to be there that long and for the nails to look the way they do.. She seemed rushed since she was the only one there. We rushed out since we were there for so long.. Upon leaving we noticed that not one nail looked the same all were uneven and different shapes. The nails didn't look $54 worth. Almost a week later one of my nails broke off. I called to get a new set since if one nail is falling off in a week I'm assuming the rest will do the same... they should last at least 2 full weeks.. they said that they could give me a discount but I would still have to pay for a new set. Super disappointing since I spent more than I anticipated, they don't look good and they broke off a week later. Not going back because I'm not wasting a total of $80 on this set. read more

They took her right away & started working on her. All three services were handled by same young lady. She was pleasant & efficient. Had us out the door in less than 90 minutes. Next day, my gel manicure already peeled, I called and they told me to come the next day to fix it... she fixed 3 nails because they were also chipped, she was pissed that i came back. THREE (3) days later, the nails she fixed were chipped again... today I am 6 days post my gel manicure and have more nails peeling. I called and asked to speak to the owner who does not speak English... she basically told me it's my fault because I don't know how to take care of my gel manicure... (I have been getting gel manicures for over 4 years and they all lasted AT LEAST 3 weeks). I went into this salón thinking I would give them a try, the actual salon looks pretty so I thought maybe the service would be as decent. Biggest mistake EVER!! They left my nails so misshaped, lumpy and bumpy. As the lady was doing them I was trying to be polite but telling her I wasn't liking the shape. There was a big language barrier, so I tried to be extra polite and point to the issues, she just didn't care. When done I was in shock and paid, and tipped cuz I just couldn't be a jerk. Got into my car and just HATEEEEED the F out of them. I went bk inside, and told the owner that I plz needed my nails to be corrected. Instead of doing them her self, she tells me sit. She had the same lady who clearly cant see wk on them while she left with her 2 kids! Shame on that crappy owner, she nvr ask to see my nails or what the issue was. I told the lady who did my nails to plz remove them that I didnt want them on looking like that. She said NO No, I fix, and she sure fixed them to look even crappier! The nightmare of an ordeal lasted three hours, now I have to spend some more time and find another nail tech that can repair the horrible damage or just take my set off and put a new set on before this weekend. Never again. Their secret is that they're the shittiest nail salon around. They didn't even try. We waited almost an hour even after calling and having an appointment first. She spent maybe 5 min on me from start to finish. Didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted, took off my polish, half assed putting some lotion on my legs, which I had to finish rubbing in myself, no massage at all, "painted" my toes (my 5 yo could have done better). Another worker told her someone needed a design, so I thought she was gonna come back to finish, and nothing. My sister's were with me, one of them had the same experience I did, except another worker came to "clean up" the ladies mess of a paint job and she took 20 min to try to fix the problems. My other sister didn't even end up getting seen because they were taking so long. Everything was half assed, at best. AND THEY CHARGED US $32 EACH!!! At the end we asked to talk to the manager and OF COURSE she was the manager. She wouldn't talk to us at first until we started to get upset. When she finally did talk to us she said we should have told her we weren't happy, we said WE ARE TELLING YOU WE AREN'T HAPPY. Said that there's a lady sitting next to us that they've been working on for the actual length of a pedicure and her response was "because she's spending $50" . We said, we didn't even get asked what we wanted to spend in the first place, but glad you take care of your customers if they tell you they'll pay more! As if $32 FOR A PEDICURE isn't enough money to get even a half way decent pedicure or half way decent service!! I am appalled. I've never had such an awful experience anywhere or been treated so awful in my life. I would have been better off having my 5yo paint them at home. Let's just start from the beginning. We were in St. George for my wedding that was Nov. 28th. My sweet dad got a Groupon for myself and my sisters to get our nails done. My mom came along too. The Groupon itself was $135 for three manicures and three pedicures. When we arrived we said "we have a Groupon" to this the guy replied "okay please wash your hands before we get started". To any sane person, that response would mean we could use the our Groupon.... Flash forward to them actually doing our nails, the experience started our alright but it quickly became obvious that we were somehow annoying this employee.... like our business was not wanted. They then rushed the important part (you know, painting our nails) and he became very agitated and started practically yelling at potential clients that they were "too busy" for them. It was very rude and completely unprofessional. Now forward a little bit to them actually (finally) finishing our nails, and we go to check out. Remember at the beginning when they didn't say anything about our Groupon? Yeah we pull up our Groupon and they tell us we cannot use it on Fridays. He calls his "manager" twice and both times says there's nothing he can do.... so, embarrassed and fuming, we end up paying about $320 and leaving with nails we weren't even happy with to begin with. I got in my car and cried that we just lost that much money on poorly done gel nails. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that will one, value your business, two, tell you up front about their apparent "Groupon policy", and three, do your nails correctly. read more

I feel hesitant to write this review as I normally try to give service providers a second chance, but today I got a pedicure with my friends and I left feeling so bummed with a messy polish job. I got a basic pedicure and gel polish and I literally was worked on for 20 minutes. They had 7 pedicures going at once with only 3 people working. My best friend and I, having lived here for 2 years have visited about 16 other nail spots in hopes to find one that is consistently amazing, clean & friendly. Well this is it! If I could give 1 star I would. Where does one start? The service provided is awful. The quality of work they do is absolutely horrendous. I'm commenting for a friend who paid $55 for hands full of acrylic, misshaped, rough nails with clumps of acrylic on them. When she asked the manager to redo them or take them off she was told to sit down like a dog. Then the manger proceeded to gather her belongings and walk out of the salon without ever addressing the horrible service and completed product. What a horrible place. First time at this salon and the last. First thing that hit me wrong is I had to wait 30 min even though I had an appointment. Also their sanitary practices are atrocious as there was one nail brush and no soap when I went to wash my hands. I have never seen that in all the years I've been getting my nails done. Also their prices are really high for the service they provide. They charged extra to remove the gel from my hands and feet and replace with a hardened polish. Really cute place, love the lamps! However, service was rushed and ultimately bad! I'm in from out of town. I've been getting the dip or "SNS" nails for months now. Each time, it lasts 4-6 weeks before I have to redo due to grow out. I had the dip done one week ago. Every single one of my nails has chipped as and broken. I have white streaks where they filed the color down too thin. I have cuts on my cuticles from them being careless. My nails look horrible with all of the chipped polish. Do NOT try to use your Groupon they will not honor it. It is a tricky scam they use to get your business because once they have finished the service and you go to pay they find a reason not to honor it. I followed all the rules listed and had a Groupon for a mani pedi and because I added a shellac polish which I was willing to pay extra for they told me I could not use the Groupon at all. I walked out of there having to pay $93 for my service that I essentially was planning on already being covered (minus the additional shellac charge). It's a shame because the tech did a good job on my nails but I will absolutely never return. This is the worst place ever. Sure the atmosphere of the layout is okay. The people however, lie and charge people extra. Most have attitudes. I didn't get anything but manicure, no fake nails, I have short nails, all she had to do was shape what she could, polish them and be done. The gal told me, "We have pedicures half price, $20." RISKYThey reuse their paraffin wax that goes on costumers feet that have just been grated to remove dead skin. I was forced to go in the back and pull the hardened wax out of bag. As seen in the picture below. There would be dead skin floating at the top when it was re melted. Mindy also hires girls as young as 14 and makes them do full client services. Along with that hardly any breaks or food. ALSO NO LICENSE! nail clippers and pedicure bowls were never cleaned and sanitized. They would just grab clippers or graders they used on someone else 10 minutes ago and run it under water then it would be "clean". I was so grossed out I would personally never get a pedicure the summer I worked there. Clients were never told the actual price of something and then when they would check out they did lots of sneaky things to add a few bucks to their totals. Two weeks later I went in for a fill and the owner asked if I had gone somewhere else To have my nails done. I said yes and I explained why. She began to speak illy of me because I went to another salon. Today I had an appointment for a back fill. When I arrived the owner told me she didn't have time for a back fill but she could paint them. I asked why and she said she was too busy. I stated that I had an appointment for a back fill. She persisted that she didn't have time. I over heard her tell her daughter that I could go somewhere else. She did end up doing the fill but not The back fill I asked for. I asked for her to shorten my nails which she did not do. Then they did not allow the polish to cure. When I got in the car my nails were literally crumbling. I was charged $50 For a fill and it was horrible. I will never go back and that is so sad after being such a devoted customer for 2 years. read more

I just had the best experience at Secret Nails Bar - Mindy and Van are amazing! The salon is huge and set up beautifully. All products are high quality and everything used felt amazing. I received a gel pedicure which included the most incredible spa treatment (all while sitting in an awesome massage chair). Mindy did a dip manicure with gold foil glitter that looks incredible. There are so many other services offered here...I wish I could have tried them all! This was by far the best salon experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Secret Nails Bar! read more

The shape is so different from all the other nails and they didn't even file the edges so I could literally slice tomatoes with them. The paint was so horrbile. I came here for a recommendation from my friend who was very happy with her experience (I asked her because I loved her nails), so I decided to try, and I am glad I did, this is one of the best experience I have in a long time. I have tried other good places in town, but this one was amazing. First, great costumer service, the owner was there making sure I liked the way my nails were done and what I wanted.
