I just accidentally walked into this storage facility thinking it was another facility I'd made an online reservation for... OOPS! well, Diane & Patrick were super nice and helped me out anyway, and showed me a few units, and turned out to be LESS EXPENSIVE than the deal I'd signed up for at the other place, and within a few minutes, I was signed up and had a lock on my unit. The place is ridiculously clean, and they are very serious about the security of my storage. The location is very convenient, and Diane was very explicit with the details of the lease agreement. And she told me that she could do things however is easiest for me- she said YES to everything I asked for! This is so great, funny how things work out, huh? Thanks Diane & Patrick! read more

Do NOT do business with this establishment. You will be sorry! The management changes every year, the rates increase every 6 months (not exaggerating), and they charge outrageous fees if you have ONE late payment in over FOUR years. They feel its fair to charge a $50 "bank fee" PLUS $15 late fee. Then they won't take another check from you for 6 months! Many other storage places to choose from in this area. read more

As a first time customer of Security Storage, I am amazed by the customer service and value that the team brings. In particular, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly has been a joy to work with. For starters, I had no idea that they have a moving truck that you can rent for transporting your belongings to your storage unit. Mr.Kelly brought this to my attention and saved me $50 bucks for a UHaul. From that moment on, I knew I was in good hands. Secondly, the paperwork process was extremely easy as the Kelly's we're able to knock out both my storage unit contract and truck rental at the same time. I spent only 10 minutes in the office during that time. All in all, this team brings a tremendous amount of value by saving me both time and money. This is an update to my review below. What happened to me was completely maddening and there is no excuse for it. However, during a management change my issue was quickly resolved albeit with a degree of patronization by a temporary fill in. He solved my issue and I received my refund. The reason I upped my review was because of a very nice call that I received from a training manager. She was the first sincere person I spoke to and she was very apologetic and accurately frustrated that a customer would suffer the kind of treatment that i did. I have had nothing but good things to say about this place prior to recent events. In July I was charged the monthly fee for a unit that I had vacated by the deadline. During my cc bill audit, I discovered this fact and promptly called and reported this event. After a few phone calls, I was told that I would be receiving a check for the amount, which was fine. It has been more than two months now and I have not received a check. I was told several weeks ago by Peggy that "the company has a small accounting department and I should receive my refund soon". What a complete load of BS. I can assure you that if I don't pay my bill on time, I will be assessed a late fee. In my case, this company has over $200 of my money which it takes its sweet time issuing a refund -keep in mind that this was their mistake -without so much as an apology or follow through. I certainly don't expect my "late" fee. There are plenty of storage choices in the area. Beware of these folks. read more

I moved into this unit last Spring. I have had a good experience, and one little burp that the owners kindly resolved. Recently I have been making an attempt to move my storage unit out but with the bitter cold, I will admit I have been kind of a slacker. :) The owners have been great about letting me extend my stay until I find a warmer day to move my things to my new home. This is my first time renting a unit with them and I've had an absolutely wonderful experience so far! The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating of my needs. The contract was straightforward and they were very upfront about the details. With the summer special, I got over $100 discounted on my first and second month! Once I had a unit picked out, it only took about 15 minutes to go over the agreement, sign it, and be on my way. The facility is clean, well-kept, and in a convenient location. It has never been crowded and all the units are kept very secure. The office hours and times that you can access the facility are excellent. The fact that they sell various packing supplies and locks is an added convenience. Their online system makes it a breeze to pay your monthly rental fees. These are conveniences you won't find at every storage facility. All-in-all, I would highly recommend Security Public Storage to any friend and wouldn't hesitate to rent with them again! Of the two other storage facilities less than a mile away, there's a reason I chose this one!! read more

We've had a storage unit at Security Public Storage (SPS) for only a couple months. However, over the past couple of years I'd stopped in to SPS when I was in the need of boxes or shipping/packing supplies. The folks at SPS were always very friendly and helpful and if they didn't happen to have what I needed, rather than try to sell me something I didn't want, they offered suggestions of where I could get what I was looking for. In my opinion, that is the best show of customer service - to help the customer find what they want. It's also the reason I kept returning to SPS, because I knew that I would get genuine customer service, which is very rare nowadays. So, when we had the need to get a storage unit, the very first place I went to was SPS. Granted, I also did some comparison pricing, read lots of reviews, and stopped in to some of the other facilities in the area. I wasn't willing to choose a storage company for price alone and the service I'd received from SPS and the overwhelming number of positive reviews far outweighed the others that only had cheap prices to offer. As with my past experiences, SPS gave us their top-notch customer service. We weren't sure of the unit size we needed but had a few sizes we wanted to take a look at. The young gentleman who helped us took the time to show us around to several different units so we could see and decide which we needed. After stepping inside the units, we were able to decide quickly on the size needed. It wasn't just their excellent customer service that sold us, but their outstanding facility. The storage units are clean, dry and very secure. The surveillance and in/out access monitoring is impressive. The sign-up was a breeze and we rest easily knowing that our belongings are secure. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with Security Public Storage and would recommend them to anyone. read more
