Three (3) great local self storage facilities in our rental experience are: 1) DUBLIN Security Storage., DUBLIN, CA. It was clean and the price was fair. Managers were helpful. 2) Another great option for self storage is UNTS in LIVERMORE, CA: it's clean, and the owners are extremely professional. My nicest furniture is still at Livermore UNITS. The UNITS drivers will drive right to your FROM & TO destinations! It's easy. 3) Other good options are in PLEASANTON: many storage facilities in Pleasanton are climate controlled. Prices are fair. Management is helpful. 4) Friends of mine rented here in San Ramon. I wish I had listened to them and chosen this SAN RAMON facility before making the decision to rent in Danville. I would rather drive extra miles to rent here in San Ramon than rent at Danville Self Storage. I have been using SPS for the last 2.5 years and have been extremely satisified. Lisa and Norm go out of their way to insure that your storage experience is the best that it can be. Their customer service is paramount. I feel safe and comfortable using the facility. It has "state of the art" video surveillance constantly monitoring the entire facility and each storage unit is equiped with its own individual security alarm. How terrific is that? I also find the extra large freight elevator and the facility's complimentary flat bed especially handy. I've used the flat bed many times even after the move in process. Originally, I chose SPS because of its climate control feature. Now, I recognize that there is so.......... much more to the package. SPS you rock!!! When I decided to move to Contra Costa County from the midwest this summer, I contacted SPS knowing I would need to rent a climate controlled storage facility. Lisa and Bruce were very helpful and made sure the right size unit would be available when the moving van arrived. Additionally they guided the movers with docking a 28 foot trailer. They have continued to provide exceptional service whether it's a call or visit to SPS. I am grateful not only for the fine service but also the reasonable price and quality of the storage facility. It's clean, well-lit, and highly secure. I also have peace of mind knowing that my possessions are protected to the maximum extent possible. I have been using this facility in San Ramon since they opened in 2003. Over the last 9 years I have had multiple units. The place is so clean it is hard to believe it is a storage facility. I have used other storage places in the past, but nothing compares to this. Units are climate controlled or they have some great indoor air system. My stuff has been in here for years... no dust, no bugs, no cobwebs. Plus, the facility is SUPER secure. Code to get it your unit or an alarm goes off. The manager Lisa is always super friendly and helpful. She really goes the extra mile to make sure I am taken care of. I would recommend this facility to anyone! This public storage is the best place I could find after searching for many places. Not only is it clean, new, and secure, the customer service is outstanding. Lisa is by far one of the nicest, and professional/informative people you can meet, and nothings better than having an individual as such to help out with your storage needs. Overall, the service is great, and very helpful. As mentioned, the building appears to be very new, and is certainly very secure. The storage rooms are very clean, and are kept at the right room temperature, in order to keep all your furniture in its greatest condition. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place, since I've had really good experience here. read more

Exceptionally clean, with an exceptional staff who is willing to do whatever it takes to resolve an issue. The manager I worked with was very professional and provided exceptional customer service. He made it a point to go over the paperwork and show how to access the storage unit with the security pad and helped navigate the labyrinth of hallways and units. Absolutely would recommend this facility ! Lisa ( manager on duty) is always helpful and courteous and would go out of her way to remedy any situation - helped me with my lock when i lost my key, gave me payment reminder calls when I asked her, and is just an overall pleasant person to deal! This place is well maintained and always clean and well vented- it doesnt have that stuffy, dust -filled atmosphere that other storage units seem to have. Lisa was extremely helpful to me when I called to find out about the facility, taking the time to answer all of my questions, and was also very kind and helpful when I rented my storage space and when I got my lock stuck. The facility is much cleaner and has a much fresher feel to it than any other storage facility that I have used or looked at in the Bay Area. The garage-type door on my unit is easy to use and much more convenient than the types of doors on other units I have used in the Bay Area. This storage facility is quite perfect, not just because it's walking distance to where I live, but because Lisa, the property manager is a delight to deal with. She's very maternal, in a positive/good way of course, and sets a supreme example for what customer service is. The ideal selling point about storing here is that the facility is climate controlled, so you don't have to worry about certain valuables melting from the heat or getting mildewy or gross from the cold. This is a fantastic place. Safe, secure, and air conditioned. The personnel are so very helpful - it makes it a pleasure to use our space. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to rest at ease with their belongings being stored outside of their home. We moved everything from a nearby competitor's storage facility - as our unit had been broken into and the surveillance and security were so poor. The police could not even identify the type of vehicle used for the robbery as the camera images were of such bad quality. read more

This storage location is centrally located off the freeway, and is a lovely garden facility. There is ample amount of parking and it is easy to access the storage unit from two different entrances. There is climate control which is a plus, and it also provides safety and security with a good alarm system and someone is always available during access hours to help you in a neighbourly way. read more
