    Ice cream

One of our favorite places to grab a sweet treat. They have coffee's, ice cream, baklava, and Turkish delights. They have a plethora of all the different treats. My kiddos always want the ice cream. My husband goes for the baklava. And I love the Turkish delights. We all leave happy. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The decor and sitting area is beautiful, I love all of the rich colors, lanterns and tapestries. We always end up going in the evening so I don't get coffee. I need to venture over in the morning to try one.

I had never been into Sedara and I'm sad I didn't come here sooner! I had a last minute idea of grabbing some baklava for an event I was hosting the evening I stopped in. I wasn't sure if a larger order would able to happen with no notice, but I thought I'd try anyways! Sedara is located is a plaza in Affton. I pulled up and parking was simple! I walked in and noticed how inviting the atmosphere was. It is decorated wonderfully and is bright with ornate details. I explained how much I needed to the cashier and she said it wouldn't be a problem! I got half of my order with walnut baklava and half of my order with pistachio. I also ordered a coffee. The woman working rang me up, I paid, and was out the door. It was painless and easy, and such an amazing addition to the event. So much great feedback on the baklava. I'm so excited to go back, and I'm happy I got to stop in! Any other time I've had this deliciousness it's been with their food truck :)

Sooo, I started with 3...why?!!! Came back and had to purchase 5 more before we left the parking lot!

I honestly could RAVE on and on about how fantastic everything is here!! The customer service, vibe, desserts...on and on! So I was in the mood for something delicious but not ordinary (kids were with me and almost ruined it by ANNOUNCING they wanted a cone from McD's!!!) Buttttt, it was received with "try this", the clouds parted and the sun shined on them and they were ON BOARD with the first taste! I now know, everything in the cases is I'm sure a winner. And the help with getting the kids on board was EVERYTHING, not all establishments would do that. The Baklava was Fantastic but everything else was also. They also have a nice selection of Ice creams and coffees! I can't wait to return!

Such a great treat! I ordered online and when I stopped in got all the details: just come inside because prices are cheaper. Hummus was delicious, chunky and flavorful, the little one munched it down and so did I! I switched out something that was out of stock for these jelly desserts: a rose petal variety, lemon and a saffron one, each just as unique. The lemon perfectly slightly sour again the delicate sweetness of the jelly and crunchy macadamia nuts. Will try other varieties as they are many. Sam was super informative and explained it all, will be back!

This is a one-of-a-kind Middle Eastern dessert store. The specialize in numerous variations of Baklava. My personal favorite is the Borma a.k.a Iraqi Fingers, this Baklava incredible. I also ordered hot tea. I have only had tea of this caliber in Turkey and the Middle East. This is a truly unique food and cultural experience.

I had the opportunity to try Sedera baklava because they were at my neighborhood food truck event. Both flavors of baklava was absolutely delicious, flakey and nutty. I really liked chocolate pecan baklava the best. I am hoping to stop by their store in person soon!

First time here. They do good authentic Lebanese baklava. I am also happy that they have Turkish delight, I'd like to try next time. Today we enjoyed 3 pots of cardamom tea and pistachio baklava.

I first had Sedara at the Tower Grove Farmer's Market and had to come visit the brick and mortar store. I left with plenty of sweets but wish I got more! My absolute favorite is definitely the pistachio fingers. My wife wasn't crazy about her Turkish Delights but everything I got was 10/10. Can't wait to be back!

We came for baklava and were not disappointed. There were so many different options, so we decided to get one of each. The cashier suggested we order the big box (more cost effective) and get two of each. We shared between 4 people and still had plenty to take home. The cashier was very helpful and explained the different types of baklava (some were nests, some were "fingers," some were traditional baklava, some were filled with pistachio or walnuts or pecans). I read online that the different between the Turkish and Iraqi baklava is that the Turkish uses more pistachios and the Iraqi uses more honey. While I was just here for the baklava, they have more treats available. The brownie a la mode we saw served was topped with so much ice cream- definitely share between 2 people. They have so many flavors of ice cream (samples offered). The interior is very clean, there are plenty of tables to sit once you've ordered at the counter. There is even seating outside. The parking lot is super convenient for the store. They have napkins for each table. They even have a water station (you'll need something to wash down the sugar).

Small Lebanese café & dessert destination with a very small menu of food, middle eastern desserts (including a wide range of baklava), western desserts (including ice cream), and coffee options. No wifi. I came in for breakfast on a Monday Morning and I was the only one there. The woman working there was very friendly and helped my decide on what to order. I got a breakfast sandwich, a "caramel chiller" (AKA a coolada), and 2 different types of baklava. The baklava and the Frappuccino were both very tasty. The breakfast sandwich was massive, but not the best quality. It did come with McDonalds style hash browns which I enjoyed however. I wouldn't come out of my way to come here, but if I was in the neighborhood and craving baklava I might stop by.

I smile, he is stone faced. I go to open the door as he walks away. The door is locked. I try a few more times, thinking maybe it's me. I look around at the hours again, but next to it is a "we're open" sign. I try maybe 3-4 times more before I give up. I walk to the window and he's sitting at a table toward the back, looking at me. They made a fresh pot of coffee and even went the extra mile to go get ice as we came in later in the evening and they had run out. I did tell them they didn't need to, but he insisted which I thought was outstanding. This quaint little café is so charming inside. It allows people to gather eat a sweet treat and have general conversation conversations where you can actually hear one another. They do have outside seating too. The chocolate cake was soft and as a non-cake lover I found this very delicious. Definitely worthy of sharing. I ordered a quiche to go. I had mentioned they didn't have the spinach feta pastry that I had before. The gentleman stated we have some in the back, I'm happy to get you one. So I ordered that too. And although this was only our second time coming, the fact that they'll make a fresh pot of coffee in my opinion is key to a great café. I will keep this in my rotation of places to go.

I arrived early at around 8:15. This is a relatively small establishment with a small parking lot. It looks like they have a trailer available for mobile coffee service too. They were fairly busy and it seemed like only one person was working. This made the wait a bit longer than I expected, but the employee was working very hard and making good time considering she was alone. I enjoyed listening to the alternative music and hanging out in the store. It was clean and comfortable. I ordered one of their March specials, the Peanut Butter Guts, as I love coffee and peanut butter together. I also ordered a cookie from Cookie Hustle (which I think is like a sister business housed under the same roof) -- a pumpkin snickerdoodle. Sounded so good! I enjoyed my coffee drink. It definitely had a detectable and enjoyable peanut butter flavor, as well as the mocha. I think it was a tiny bit heavy on milk for my preference, but overall it was tasty. I ate the cookie later and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect chewy snickerdoodle texture and lots of yummy spices. I wish I'd gotten several different cookies to try more! When I showed up at breakfast with my coffee, my family remarked on how much they like this little shop and keep coffee from here at their house for special occasions. High praise!
