It's a good and bad thing. They've honed in on their specialty and developed a good product. The soup was pretty good and flavorful. Not heavy, I want to say I tasted a little MSG, but not sure since I haven't had it in awhile and what pho doesnt have MSG? Either way, it was good with just the right amount of cut up meatballs. It came out super hot which I love. I think this store is a hybrid of boba tea shop and modern pho restaurant. I say modern bc it doesn't have the nostalgic Vietnamese feel. Sometimes I crave the feel and ambience of home made pho. For example hoisin and sriracha bottles at the table...
