I really dislike criticizing a women-owned business. I intentionally seek out women-owned businesses. But this experience was bad, and probably deserve a "not good" 1 star, though I'm giving it a "could've been better" 2. I attempted to order signs, business cards and envelopes, and visited the business in person. Because of website problems I was dealing with, the only thing I could forward with was the envelopes. Seda quoted me $150 for 500 on 11/11, in writing. I made a second trip there, to confirm colors, and Sol took over. After that we communicated by email. I'm asked whether I want an invoice now or after everything's done, I say up to you. Sol's first invoice added a $35 set up fee. Should've been disclosed, but ok. I get an invoice for $185. It says "DP,"{ (which I assume means digital printing). No DP fee yet. Then Sol asked for approval of her draft envelopes. She used my old address, though my new address was on every email we exchanged, and there were a lot of emails. Then she used upper and lower case and punctuation, though my old envelope, which she had a sample of, used small caps and no punctuation. And then I get a new invoice and this time there's a new $40 fee for digital printing. Now I'm up to $225. Attached. Today's invoice was for $296.93, double the original $150 estimate. $150 became $185, then $225, then $275. She added $21.93 tax, and MUST have used a calculator for that, but still sent me this invoice for $296.93. Attached. We exchanged some more emails in which I expressed exactly what the problems were in doing these simple envelopes and billing for them properly, but she just offered lame apologies without ever owning her mistakes. She expressed that she was sorry I "had a negative experience" but maintained the pretense of doing nothing wrong I'm sorry to leave this review but it's justified. read more

"The best prices in town" they promise. They were over three times the price of other places. For one 11X14 print on semi-gloss cardstock, the lady asked a laughable $10. Ten dollars...for one print. Such a print was $3 elsewhere and $4 at the more expensive places. She decided this price very whimsically, after she looked at me, then looked at a print I already had made somewhere else. Because it was a beautiful image, she decides I must have big money and she can charge whatever price came to her mind at the moment. Doesn't work like that, lady... I left. read more

Really amazing service and finish product. We received a random email from them at work, and it was right around the time we needed to have some postcards printed. My coworker suggested I call and get a quote. I called and spoke with Kristy. Wow! Amazing customer service, quick and reliable. The turnaround time was only a couple days. We did everything over emails. She was incredibly quick to always respond to my questions. She even offered when I called the first time, that if i got my art work over by Friday, she would combine the quantity with another order and knock $50 off the price. It turned out that by the time we were ready to place our order, Friday had came and was long gone. Kristy still offered to work with us on the price of our order. Unfortunately I did not have the same experience that other reviewers have had.This was the first time I had ever done a DM campaign. I was naive. I explained when I met them that I'd never done this before. (So my newbie-ness hence 2 stars - otherwise it would be 1 star) Two fundamental problems. The first was poor communication (and style). I was concerned that even though 5,000 postcards had been "delivered" - It took 2 very frustrating weeks to learn (not from Seda) that this meant "to the post office", not to residents and businesses. My repeated question of "what is wrong? 5000 have been delivered, BUT NOT ONE CARD HAS COME BACK IN - DESPITE US OFFERING A 20 % DISCOUNT, {and only a 4 week window to use the discount}. was answered with "I've done my job. We never make mistakes. Ever. They are delivered. You can't blame me that people aren't coming in. They have been delivered. They have been delivered. They have been delivered....." Yikes. And the tone of Seda was incredible. Screaming. Yelling. and repeating the SOS -especially "its not my fault. They are delivered. I did my job. We never make mistakes....." So wiith no answers, no solutions, and no cards coming into the shop, I dug deeper - to make sure they were "delivered" to the right streets - (because there was an (acknowledged) error in the first maps that were sent over - which had been corrected (i hoped). Then one Friday, Pete our postman told us that he had actually started delivering them almost 2 weeks after the date we were told "they were delivered". (YAY). SECOND PROBLEM Unfortunately I discovered that 20% of our Silver Lake addresses were sent to the wrong area. ( a completely different area than the first problem) An area in Silver Lake that was never proposed. An area that was never agreed. An area that I have no idea will be of any use to us.It was not what we paid for. They made a mistake. I communicated this to Seda in email and on the phone. Guess her reply / suggestion / solution/ acknowledgement? "its not my fault. They are delivered. I did my job. We never make mistakes....." Yes it is. No they weren't . No you didn't. Yes you did - just like all humans do. Of course compensation via reprinting - redelivery - i.e. delivering what was paid for was warranted - but was never offered. When it was suggested / requested (by me), the yelling started again. Life is too short. Yikes. Buyer beware. We wasted about 10% of overall DM spend due to their (SEDAS PRINTING) errors. I wasted about 10 hours of my time trying to work out what was (not) happening. I will "absorb" half the hours for "newbie" learning, but the rest was not necessary. read more

Fast and reasonable. I had to have a banner done for a show and I shopped around LA, from Long Beach to the Valley and found Seda's off the 101. They told me they could do a banner in 1 day and roughly around the same amount as the other companies that quoted me. Looked around some more and finally decided to go with them because, first they can do it in one day and second, the price range is the same as the other companies that were quoting me. And, the other companies told me it would take a week! Easy access if you're going to the Hollywood area, they are off the Santa Monica Blvd from 101 North. They offer parking, but I have a truck so I had to park at the side street. So if you need a banner fast, this is the place and cost is the same as other printshop around LA. read more

Great service, I'm a marketing student currently learning about colors and printing and such and I needed to get an idea on how it all worked, etc. I contacted the shop and the staff was more than willing to help me and explained in fine detail how the process developed. Very friendly and prices are very nicely priced compared to staples and Kinko's with better quality for it as well. They have state of the art machines in the back and a couple of older but still very nice working machines. I've been going to this printing shop for the past 10 yrs. Trying to support small businesses in my community. I'm disappointed to find out how their prices are gouching our community. One scanned document is 5 dollars.! I recently used Fed Ex they only charged me 0.50 cents for the same exact service. If you try to get an explanation as to why the price is so high, you are label hostile. I will never give them any of my business.
