Then I found Bob's Taxi lower down on the google results. When the man that answered the phone didn't bat an eye about my location, and told me it would be at least fifteen minutes, I was SO grateful! My ride showed up in about 20. ( no complaints, traffic is stupid in Sedona) and was Covid compliant and friendly. What more could I ask! Five stars to the knight in a black SUV that rescued me! One warning, they do take only cash, which I was informed of up front from the dispatcher. Thankfully I had the green to engage their services.

My hotel was in Oak Creek Village and most of the places that I wanted to go to were in Sedona, so I relied on them a lot. They are great! The drivers are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed out landmarks and told me a lot about Sedona and the red rock formations. Bobs Sedona Taxi also offer tours, I didn't do any of them because all of my days were pretty booked up and I had already scheduled two other tours. Based on the drivers that I met, I imagine that their tours are good. They recommended some good restaurants for me to try, which I appreciated. The cabs are very clean. They are very prompt for pre-scheduled pick ups. They are also pretty quick when called for immediate pick ups. I am mobility impaired and a couple of times I had to call them to go just a few blocks, they were great and gave me really good rates. I don't know how they compare to other Sedona taxi services because I only used Bobs. I originally chose them because of their name "Bobs" (a really old joke between me and some friends), but I continued using them because they are great.

We visited 3 wineries: Alcantara (great service), DA Ranch (great ambiance), and Page Springs (great wines!) Our driver JB and our group truly made the experience. We all became fast friends and JB was truly there with service in mind. From being flexible for pickup and drop off locations (he actually dropped us off at a place for dinner instead of back at our Airbnb!), to being willing to go back and forth from the bar to personally serve us our wine flights, to being extremely knowledgeable about the wines, the Arizona landscape, and the wineries, it truly was the #JBExperience. It's great that they pick you up and drop you off at your hotel so you can drink responsibly! Keith has some great humor and history of Sedona on the way to each winery keeping things fun and interesting. We went to Alcantara, Page Springs, Javalina Leap (where we had our picnic) and Oak Creek wineries. Such a great wine tour which we got a great deal on Groupon. Advertisement is for luxury car - Lincoln Navigator We got a 10 year Kia Sedona with smashed driver side mirror fastened on with duck tape. Not luxurious nor a safe car. 2. Advertisement is for an experienced guide We got Dennis who was on the job for a month or so and we learned more about his 5 marriages then our trip. 3. Advertisement is for an 8 hour trip. Dennis didn't know routes at Grand Canyon park and exited early by mistake. We only got stops and pictures in the morning as we were hurrying to make our lunch appointment. He offered to take us to view the 45 minute IMAX movie instead to make up for it- no thanks, we passed. We didn't pay $1200 to watch a movie. We complained to tour operator, and tripadvisor (who we booked through) as well as credit card company- to no avail for refund. Since we "completed" the trip and tipped driver(out of pity). There are plenty of reputable tour companies out there. Don't waste your time and especially your money with this one. The owners of this company are unscrupulous.

***Married October 2015***…read more I would NOT recommend White Tie Transportation for any event. We utilized their services for our wedding and prior to the event everything seemed to be going well. Communication & responsiveness was great. Then wedding day arrived and everything fell apart. We had ordered a single mini coach to shuttle our guests between two hotel locations and the venue. The company, for some reason, provided a large coach that could not get to our venue and had to stop at the top of a hill to drop guests off. This was not communicated to our wedding planner until the DAY of the wedding, and the email was not seen for a couple of hours because she was deep in wedding day tasks. They never called her or us to follow up on the email and relay the information to us that day. The company also did not update our request to adjust the pick up/drop off schedule and in turn, some guests thought that they had missed the shuttle and ended up driving to the venue, which can only fit 11 cars, and had to park blocks away and walk to the venue. This lack of communication caused the event to start almost 30 minutes late. With the original agreement, the shuttle was supposed to be at the venue for the entirety of the event to shuttle guests to and from their hotels and the venue. Since the company changed the size of the shuttle, it could not get down to the venue and in turn couldn't sit at the top of the hill because it was on a busy road. We had no idea where the shuttle was and it left our guests stranded until the shuttle decided to show up. It was extremely stressful for us, our families, and all of our guests. After our wedding we went on our 14 day honeymoon and couldn't deal with the issue promptly. So, our amazing wedding planner contacted them to deal with the issue while we were away. She was able to speak to the manager, Corey, over the phone and he was very helpful and apologetic, asking her to follow up via email with all of the details. Once she sent the information, there was no response and she tried calling and emailing, and never heard from anyone from the company again. We came back from honeymoon and it was both myself and our wedding planner trying to get ahold of Corey or someone to get the issue resolved. It wasn't until almost mid-November that I was finally able to get a hold of Corey and he wasn't very apologetic nor seemed to care about the situation. I was able to get half of our money back, but in hindsight I should have received a full reimbursement for the issues, lack of responsibility taken by the company, and run around. Stay far away from this company!

I am a wedding planner, and Able came to the rescue, filling in any transportation request that was added, and I am so thankful for all his help!
