Even directories @ Mescal Trail, which the gate attendant misdirected me to, dunno bout Birthing Cave. He shuda pointed me to Long Canyon TH

I was on a tour of the town and needed help. I politely asked the gate attendant (near 15 Golf Club Way, Sedona) how to find the trailhead to Birthing Cave. He was unhelpful and unfriendly. He misdirected me to Mescal Trailhead but with a demeanor as if he just wanted me sent away. Turns out the trailhead to Birthing Cave is at Long Canyon Trailhead (G Maps coords: W54G+M8 Sedona, Arizona). The intersection for that is: Long Canyon Rd & Chuck Wagon Trail. At Mescal Trail, I asked around for Birthing Cave. No one had even heard of it. Even the directories don't know about it (see photo). Anyway, if you're visiting The Villas at Seven Canyons-Sedona and wish to visit Birthing Cave, park at Long Canyon TH and start hiking NW. It's about a 2 mi hike (1 hr round trip). Remember to pack ice water, hat, and sunblock, cuz it's hot and dry out there. Good luck!

Beautiful golf course! Wish I was playing again right now. Everything was in great condition even in August with the weather being somewhat hot. Greens are fast and you sure better hit the ball straight or it's going to be a long day. No cart girl but you order from your cart and they deliver the drinks to you pretty quickly. The price is up there, so it's definitely a special location course.

Beautiful piece of heavenly land back here and to my surprise a very secluded special vortex. If you plan to visit, just look for the Seven Canyons Neighborhoods. You can also take a tour on a jeep or spiritual guide. Stop at the gate and tell them that you want to go up to Rachel's Knoll. And when you are up there, just breathe and let all that beauty sink in! Walk around the trail and enjoy the hot spot of the vortex. Whimsical trees are said to have developed this way due to the vortex. Enjoyed the meditation and chakra up here didn't feel the vortex this time but it felt special and it warmed my heart, cleared my mind, and gave me peace up here. Don't let the guards scare you off it's Rachel's wish for all to see read about her story trust me you don't want to miss out on this one.

One of Sedona's best kept secrets! The food & views are to die for and the service is friendly and attentive. I recommend the 100 layer lasagna or the braised short rib.

Seven Canyons = Heaven on Earth! Seriously... this place is magical! I feel so lucky that I've stayed at Seven Canyons - a Private Residence Club - not once, but twice... what an experience! The only reason I've been able to spend time at Seven Canyons is through a connection Jared has. Seven Canyons is not only surrounded by natural beauty, but the on-site villas are over-the-top incredible! There is no detail that was not thought of from the quality furniture, spacious kitchen, outdoor living room, outdoor shower, heated towel drawer in the master bath, jacuzzi, and more! The architecture on site is gorgeous, the golf course spectacular, and staff friendly. Work-out room is satisfactory as well... I get no cell phone coverage from Seven Canyons when I'm there, but that is a good thing - it allows me to completely zone out. I hope to return again sometime to Seven Canyons - it's such a treat. If given the opportunity to visit, run there - don't walk... and enjoy every moment!

Well maintained, nice staff, great views. All Around great experience. If you're not a member try the member for a day program when you visit Sedona.

My dad is a member here, so I come every time that I am in Sedona and oh my goodness, it is GORGEOUS! If you play golf, this has to be one of the prettiest courses that you will ever play on. Their restaurant and bar is great with delicious food options and even more delicious *fresh* cocktails. My favorite is their gin, mint, and cucumber cocktail. I could literally drink 10 of them because they are so fresh and go down easily! I am also a fan of their jalapeno margarita but beware, it definitely has a kick! They muddle the jalapeno which makes it nice and spicy. It is a great place to kick back and watch sports. They also have a relaxing pool area and great amenities in their locker room. The only downside is that they don't have a spa on site but you can visit Enchantment down the road if you would like to get a service! All in all, I love coming to Seven Canyons and spending quality father/daughter time at this relaxing establishment! :) Their villas are also TO DIE FOR and i'm highly considering having my bachelorette party in one of them! *You do have to be a member or playing golf to be allowed in the gates!

The views are stunning . The fairways were burnt and not in great shape . The rough was 6 inches long and very punishing. The greens were smooth and rolled true. The rough made the course play much longer.. it was difficult to find the range and some of the holes several holes we were driving on the street . Hole 1 is is very dangerous we had a 8.40 tee time but the 9.00 group was on the tee box . The layout is just confusing. I prefer the play oakcreek . Price is high for the summer but I appreciate the opportunity to play there. The food was average fruits were old

The staff is really friendly. Everyone had a smile on their face and constantly said hello. It was very welcoming. The Trail house and art studio are great additions to the property. You can't take art classes or rent equipment for hikes or bike rides. In both spaces the people are very knowledgeable. Food choices are good. They have coffee shop with a variety of snacks and a couple restaurants. The pool is nice and the tennis bc outta and pickleball courts couldn't have a more scenic view. The Bad - The rooms are pretty dated. They need an upgrade at those prices. I had a patio to sit on but didn't have any chairs on the patio so I couldn't really use it. The room was dark and dim. No soft close toilet seat. Bathroom products were pretty average. Food prices are out of control. I realize it's a resort and we are a captive audience, bit please don't make things grossly overpriced. Don't pay for a private biking tour. Go yourself. The prices for those are outrageous. When we arrived at Poco, we upgraded to a King room close to the lobby with a balcony, a view and 2 sinks. Our view was not of red rock mountains as much, but we did have a beautiful view of the serenity lawns which I believe used to be a golf course. Very peaceful. I'm soooooo glad we upgraded because we sat on our balcony several times a day and enjoyed the view. Having separate sinks was really nice also. The hotel is not fancy, but it is super convenient and had all of the amenities that we needed. Had a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant on site. We ordered Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with fresh blueberry glaze. Our breakfast was probably the best one that we had the entire trip. Sooo delicious. Make sure you go!!! Yummy. Would highly recommend the restaurant! Great food, view and service. We got there rather early around 8 AM and had a place to ourselves. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a beautiful morning. Breakfast is not complementary, but definitely worth the price. We used the gym facilities everyday. The cross trainer machine was great for cardio, clean and well maintained. They provide towels. The jacuzzi outside wasn't hot enough for my liking so I passed. Bummer. That's the only area of the hotel that could be nicer-pool and jacuzzi. Kinda looked tired in general. Could use an update. The best part about Poco Diablo is the location. It's super easy to hop on the shuttle for $1 and make it to the downtown tourist section of Sedona. There were other shuttles also available that were free, but they only ran Thursday through Sunday and we were there mid week, so we were not able to use them. The shuttle conveniently comes to the Poco Diablo parking lot adjacent to the lobby. Super convenient. Someone from the resort texted my cell phone and asked if we needed anything. They checked up on us daily and if we had any questions at all, which I did several times throughout our stay, I could just text them. Each time, they would text me a response within 5 min. I found this much more convenient than using the hotel phone and calling the front desk. I really liked the option to text. I have not experienced that before at a hotel.

I want to start off by saying that I had a fantastic wedding and I will always remember my wedding…read moreday fondly. I think these memories are largely due to a few different factors, some of which I can attribute to Revered Andrew and his team at Heart of Sedona Weddings, but the most memorable part of the day was saying my vows to my beautiful wife! She is what made the day so special and memorable. I have mixed feelings about Heart of Sedona Weddings which I will explain below, but based on my experience with Reverend Andrew and his team, I would still cautiously recommend their services to anyone desiring to elope in beautiful Sedona. You may want to look into other options as well. Reverend Andrew is very involved in the planning process, from the initial consultation all the way to the big event. During my initial phone consultation with him he was very friendly and informative about how the wedding ceremony would work. His pricing is upfront and reasonable for what you get, as he offers several all-inclusive packages designed to meet your needs. I liked that Reverend Andrew took his time with us over the phone and explained everything in detail. He was clear about how the planning process worked and told us exactly what we needed to know in order to have a successful elopement in Sedona. He was personable and gave us excellent recommendations for bridal hair and makeup, restaurants, and cakes. He made the planning process less stressful than it should have been. Although I have yet to see the wedding photos, his photographer Andrew Holman was excellent in the way he treated us and he made us feel like celebrities with all the really cool poses around the scenic red rock background. I am quite confident from the quality of the photos he took on my phone that the actual wedding photos will be spectacular. In this respect, Revered Andrew made a great decision to have Andrew as our photographer. Couldn't be happier with him. Another nice gesture of Reverend Andrew was him personally picking up my then fiance at her makeup salon so I would not see her prior to the wedding. His flexibility and willingness to do this were very much appreciated and made the wedding that much more special to me and my bride. Despite all of the amazing memories, there are some areas in which I felt Reverend Andrew fell short, which I will detail here. Reverend Andrew was easy to get ahold of the first two times I spoke to him, but after that, it was nearly impossible to reach him over the phone and he would sometimes take several days to get back to me, even when I had a simple question. When I replied to one of his emails regarding details of our ceremony, he never received it, only to find it later while I was telling him over the phone that I sent it. I got the feeling that he was overbooked and more focused on quantity than quality, a feeling that would later be confirmed during the ceremony itself. On the day of the wedding, on our way into the private golf course, Reverend Andrew ran into an issue at the security gate where they were asking him to pay a fee to enter. Waiting in my car for fifteen minutes while he sorted out the details and argued with the security guard over paying the fee was not a good way to set the mood. While the security guard was being rude, I did not feel that Andrew making a big deal out of the fees was very professional and he should have dealt with the guard later on instead of venting about him on our wedding day. Another issue was that during the ceremony itself, Andrew was reading off sheets of laminated paper and did not seem emotionally invested in our ceremony. It was more of a vibe he gave off, but he was reading very quickly and seemed like he was in a rush to get this thing over with and get out of there. Not exactly the vibe I was going for on my wedding day. I am still a little pissed about that. And then, once our ceremony was over, he hurriedly and awkwardly left, not giving my new wife time to get all of her belongings out of the car. That just rubbed me the wrong way, but thanks to the kindness and patience of his photographer, we continued to have a great time taking photos. The wedding cake had almonds in it despite me asking for there not to be. Oversights like these on my wedding day were unacceptable. I think Reverend Andrew is good at what he does, but I did not feel that his heart was quite there with us on our big day and I felt he was a little careless with small, but important details. If I were to renew my vows in Sedona, I would have second thoughts about going with him again for these reasons.

We found similar wedding services to Heart of Sedona Weddings, but from our initial phone inquiry, Andrew was enthusiastic and open to answering many questions about his services and going through a list of easily accessible locations for our family to get to. We ended up deciding on getting married on Bell Rock, off of the Courthouse Vista parking lot (beautiful views). We were in continuous communication with Andrew in the months leading up to our Wedding. We met with Andrew in Sedona a few months prior to the wedding to go over all the details of the ceremony and for him to get to know us more as a couple. We then went with Andrew to our wedding location. Andrew showed us the best spot for the ceremony. He also showed us where and how he would position us and our family. Andrew sent us packets of wedding ceremony information. We went through and picked the stuff we liked and also added some verses that we liked. Andrew made this part very easy. After we told him the pieces that we liked and the verses that we wanted, he took it from there and made a beautiful and fluent ceremony. We would highly recommend Andrew and Heart of Sedona Weddings! Thank you, Andrew!

Location is good especially if your stay is in the south side of Uptown Sedona. There is a Hilton vacation stay connecting to the establishment. Two people ordered the fish and chips, one person got the chicken fettuccine, and I ordered the veggie pasta. Everything was good but fairly more expensive for what it was. The restaurant itself is pretty large with the main room connecting to the bar. In the back, there was another room with a pool table and up a small flight of stairs was another dining area. When we got there, only a few people were seated (maybe 3-4 couples) in the main room and my party was put in the separated dining room. I am giving this restaurant a 2/5 because of negative experience. Our order wasn't taken until 15 minutes after we were seated. We saw our waitress maybe once early into the meal but once we finished our meal, no one came with the bill. I waved down a waiter who was helping another party in the room (which was also the only other party in the room) for the bill but was told that he would tell "our" waitress. He didn't seem to have done that because we ended up waiting some more. I ended up getting up and asking for the bill. I understand if the place was busy, but the restaurant was dead. This was the worst restaurant during my stay in Arizona.
