A bit nosy but what can i do? Clean and comfortable accommodation. The rooftop bar Cane and Barrel was a hit also. I went to the rooftop for a few drinks and it was great. I thought their drinks were a bit pricey without the top shelf liquor loved the space and music. I would stay here again. Though I have some minor complaints my stray was great overall.

We immediately reported it to the front desk, who told us they could not access the valet cameras and that we would need to contact corporate, but would not provide us with any information on how to do so. My fiancé was at work, so I contacted law enforcement. This remains under investigation, so I will not speculate publicly about who is responsible. This review is about how The Hotel Zamora and its management handled us during our stay and after we left. Because my fiancé was working, I communicated with the assistant manager, David Engler, on my fiancé's behalf. I spent hours asking David for basic communication, updates, and assistance, only to receive dismissive responses and an attitude rather than empathy or urgency. During our interactions, David repeatedly rolled his eyes and visibly clenched his fists while I was speaking. Other staff witnessed these interactions. When David would return to his office, other employees apologized to me for how the situation was being handled and offered things such as complimentary drink cards. Once my fiancé was physically present, David's demeanor noticeably changed. I should not have to have my fiancé standing beside me before I am treated with basic respect and professionalism. The missing Mac mini was my fiancé's primary work computer. The entire reason for our stay was his business trip, and its loss has continued to affect his work. Despite this, we experienced very little urgency or concern from management. The surveillance footage was important to the ongoing investigation, yet we spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to obtain updates. We asked whether the hotel could accommodate another night so we could remain available while the investigation continued. Instead, we were told we could simply pay for another night ourselves at a discounted rate, then told we'd have to pay at full rate, and then told by the assistant manager that we would "confront people." This was comical. At no point did either of us say that we intended to confront anyone. We are both working professionals who were trying to handle an incredibly frustrating situation while continuing to meet our professional obligations. We explained that we live hours away and wanted to remain reachable in case the property was recovered so we would not have to make multiple trips back to the area. The last excuse we were told was that the hotel could not accommodate us because they were nearly booked for the weekend. We attempted to contact the General Manager, Shannan May, multiple times by phone and email. We did not receive a response from her during our stay. The assistant manager acknowledged that he was aware we had been attempting to reach Shannan, yet she still did not contact us directly. For a situation this serious, we found it extremely disappointing that the General Manager did not extend the basic courtesy of personally reaching out to the guests involved. After we had already checked out, Shannan eventually emailed us stating that we could have dinner on them, our resort and parking fees would be waived and that the booking agency would be contacted regarding compensation. We have still received no meaningful resolution or direct follow-up from management. The hotel cannot control every incident that happens to a guest. It absolutely does control how it responds. We expected communication, empathy, cooperation, and management that actually took the situation seriously. Instead, we felt dismissed, unsupported, and blamed for being upset about what happened. The investigation remains ongoing. Regardless of its outcome, our experience with the hotel's management was unacceptable. I have never left a review anywhere before. This experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to leave one. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

My room came with 2 queen beds and a couch with a pull out couch along with a small kitchenette (full-size fridge, stove, dish washer, and kitchen ware). Pretty good size dining room table for eating in. But the biggest disappointment is the bathroom. Alden resort needs to remodel the bathroom. The ware and tare throughout the years are showing bad. Handicap accessible bathroom does not mean just adding a bar and in the wrong place. The staff are respectful, courteous, and provides great service. Everything in this hotel is touch-less/person-less. We needed additional toilet paper and had to text the system, it's not as easy as calling front desk. The room itself was nice, had a kitchen with everything you need. Only one roll of toilet paper though! I would not stay here again because of the noise but I can see how this would be good for a younger type of person who wants to party all night and wake up and do it again! The ceiling does occasionally have tiny pieces falling down, which was near my sitting area in the kitchen, but that was the only area. It could be different for other rooms or maybe none at all. Note: They only do house keeping if you request it. I had a wonderful pool side view. I wish I went out to the pool during my stay. It looked lovely and clean. I saw more people sunbathing down there than swimming. I can definitely see how folks can spend time here as a long-term rental. You have everything you need here. I was offered a food credit for the difference, which I had no interest in, so I said I would speak with the manager in the morning. When I spoke with Diego, he did not hesitate to make things right. Mistakes happen, but what matters most is how they are handled, and Diego stepped in and resolved the issue professionally. This is one of the reasons I continue staying at Marriott properties. Their professionalism and customer service are outstanding.

I checked my room on the Bonvoy app when I booked - it was there. Reservation confirmed by The Moxy. The day before my reservation, 7/23/2026, it was still there and ready for me to check in. I did not check in at that time because my husband had been in the hospital the day before, and I still had a cancellation window. Everything with him was okay and on 7/24 I took the Brightline up to Orlando, where my friend picked me up and we headed over to St. Pete for our fun girls' weekend. I decided to check in to The Moxy on the way to St. Pete on the Bonvoy app, and my reservation is no longer there. I looked at My Trips, and my "Cancellations", and OUR RESERVATION HAD BEEN CANCELLED!!! This was at 2PM on the day of the reservation and NO ONE HAD REACHED OUT TO US TO LET US KNOW. I just want to remind you - this room was PAID IN FULL several weeks in advance, and therefore no reason to be cancelled. I called The Moxy and no one answered the phone. I called Chase and spent almost 2 HOURS on the phone with them while the travel advisor contacted The Moxy and went back and forth trying to figure out the situation. Apparently, The Moxy had overbooked for the weekend. And rather than honor a PAID IN FULL reservation for a Gold Elite member, they cancelled my reservation and prioritized someone else. I can't imagine, that at 2PM the hotel was full of people who already prepaid with any sort of membership status, when the check-in time is 4PM. I later learned they were having a "Pool Party" event on 7/26, so I suspect we were bumped so they could get a higher price on the room. We did have a great rate. This is poor business practice, and The Moxy has lost my business. It nearly ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. We were redirected to another hotel - in TAMPA. We made the best of it, but we still had to drive 30 minutes to St. Pete to do all the activities we had already planned for and purchased. It's not nice for anyone to get bumped, but what's the point of having this "status" and prepaying if you can't be guaranteed a room? It doesn't matter if the room is booked through the hotel, Chase, Expedia, Hotels.com or whatever - A PERSON PREPAYS IN FULL, THEY GET THE ROOM.

We checked in on Thurs., Dec. 10th and stayed until Tues., Dec. 15th, coming into the Tampa area to witness and celebrate our daughter's graduation from USF. To begin with, checking in was a breeze, the grounds are incredibly clean and well-kept. The tropical foliage, palm trees and landscaping create this Utopian effect and you feel, well...relaxed. The resort houses approx. 35 - 45 condo-style units that give you a far better value than some of the competing hotels. I completely spaced taking pics of the interior while there but I can describe it as being fully furnished with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast dining area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and approx. 1000 sq ft. The master bdr features one of the most comfortable king size beds I've ever slept on and I woke up each morning, feeling entirely refreshed. I'm gonna need to know the brand and style of mattress that was, when you read this, Westwinds! The place was super clean, fully stocked with a variety of towels, spacious and had a nice layout to it. The wildlife surrounding the resort were also quite the sight to see, as were the multiple dolphin sightings at the rear of the resort. The pool was crystal clear, heated and very clean. The only issues we encountered were very minor and weigh nominally on this review. Our shower head seemed to have a mind of it's own by spraying multiple directions due to some hard water build up in the shower head jets. When I adjusted the water flow to a more powerful stream, it worked fine and I just had to adapt to a thinner, high-pressure stream. The other notable issue that may also require 10 mins of attention by the maintenance tech, would be to adjust or replace the toilet lever. In order to accomplish a full flush, the handle had to be held down for approx. 3 - 4 seconds, rather than a press and release. Lastly, in the front guest bedroom, the ceiling fan was off-camber and made a significant humming noise, no matter the speed. Once again...minor issues. The service provided to my family and I, by Leslie, was nothing short of wonderful. Leslie is the main property manager and seems to do it all on the grounds. She was awesome. So awesome, as a matter of fact, we took her down some homemade taco soup, prepared by my wife the evening before. We felt genuinely welcomed and valued the entire time we stayed. We will be back and we will be staying at Westwinds once more. This place was great!!! Thank you! SCORE: 4.5 STARS!!

Walk to Bilmar Hotel 1.5 blocks away for excellent beach with cabanas for rent. The cabana service will also line you up with superb sandwiches and cold beers from Treasure Island Market. The Bilmar Sloppy Joes has admirable sized Margaritas (62 oz) if you like something stronger.
