The first impressions of the store mentioned before still are valid. It has a great selection of home decor, kitchen supplies and specialty food items. Particularly international foods that are hard to find elsewhere. The location itself is a lot more convenient as it is closer to my home than the other location, which is a huge plus. However, I knocked a star as it can be hard to determine the current stock of products at the store when checking online. I have made numerous online purchases on the website for store pickup as they offer a discount for this option. However, I have experienced many instances when a product I ordered was unavailable even though the website said it was. Particularly on items where the stock shows that there are a few left. If you order online, just be aware that the store may not have it available, especially if the website says they are close to selling out.

Yup, it takes them 3 hours to fill my order with two items, and one of them is out of stock but they didn't update it on my pickup notification. I went in, waited in line for it. Then when it was my turn, the cashier was gonna help me out but someone else came to line up, so she told me she has to help her first. So I had to wait for her to finish the order first before she could fetch my stuff in the back. When that was done, she went to the back and brought me one of them items. They weren't gonna give me a receipt so I had no clue the other item was out of stock, so I asked her where that is.. then someone else came and she had to help her first of course, so I waited forever for her to go to the back.. and eventually she came back and told me the item was out of stock so they didn't charge for it. I had no notification of that, so I asked for a copy of that piece of paper with the info, then she told me to take a pix. . It's weird how disconnected and inefficient this whole pickup process is. And the fact that I had to keep waiting for other people is highly unacceptable and the whole process took 20 minutes or more .. this is my first time placing an online order, and also the last time.

Rhinestone and disco mirrored cowboy hats caught my eye at the checkout! Probably about six different varieties of those. Over the years, Julia has designed both professional (logo) and personal cookies for me. I ordered amazing zoo-themed cookies for my kiddo's 1st birthday (at the zoo), Mickey-inspired cookies for his 3rd birthday, as well as custom-designed cookies for each child at an adoption party and Game of Thrones and Little Prince cookies. In all cases, I was able to pick from a variety of flavors (celebration and gingerbread are my favorites), and I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail in the designs, as well as the freshness. I recently placed a larger order of cookies with my company's logo, which I took to a work trip, and they were a huge hit. Julia also made sure to individually package each cookie in a box with bubble wrap so they wouldn't get destroyed in my suitcase! Ordering is so simple and done through the website, and someone contacts you about details and pick-up and/or delivery. I opt to pick them up from their Redmond location. I have never had any issues with an ordering not being completed by the date promised; in fact, I am surprised at how quickly they are made! I highly recommend Raining Cookies to all of my friends and colleagues. The people I've recommended to Julia have always been very satisfied. Orders prices are very reasonable for what you get. I hope someone reads this before they choose to book them as this is a big disappointment and now there are no cookies for my baby shower. Hannah is clearly very talented, and the quality and detail of the cookies themselves were wonderful. The reason for four stars instead of five is the communication and timing. Communication was great initially, but after I paid for the order, it became difficult to get updates, which made me nervous as our event got closer. The cookies also arrived later than expected. Thankfully, they made it just before our party started, but it was definitely a stressful wait. In the end, I was very happy with the actual cookies and received so many compliments on them. I would absolutely love to see more consistent communication and reliable timing in the future, because the finished product was fantastic.
