This Sweet Factory has anchored this corner of Bellevue Square for as long as I can remember. Colorful, visually attractive, and I almost never buy anything from them. Oops, sorry, but they are kinda spendy. To be fair, their pay-by-weight candies are the exact same cost as Lolli & Pops and Candy Street in Lynnwood, which is about $5 per quarter pound. The weight adds up quickly. If any kid touches the candies, they pretty much will need to throw away the entire lot. It is an expensive business to run. I observed a child dropped a piece of jawbreaker. The lady immediately approached the parent asking to take the dropped piece. No yelling, no anger, just the right way to run a sanitary business. They have a huge assortment of chocolates, candies, cotton candies, and some beverages, too. Being Easter, they had cute sweets that are unique. I wonder if they will have after Easter sale. Hehe. Amongst their regular offerings, I found one of my favorites - dark chocolate malt balls. Theirs is a bit smaller than the double chocolate ones I usually buy, but cocoa is very expensive now. The candy is really old. Hard & stale. Most have lost all flavor. The "toxic waste" gummy worms which claims to be extremely sour was almost as hard as a rock, had no flavor and not even the slightest resemblance of sour. I've eaten better candy off the floor of a rave read more

In the corridors of the Bellevue Square mall you'll locate a sugar paradise. Now I'll stop from time to time for a sugar fix high but I'll warn you do not let your children grab a plastic bag and start filling up.. My favorite items are the Jelly Belly's ( jelly beans ) in which the Sweet Factory offers many flavors. My second piece of candy is the coconut haystacks which are almost the size of my fist... Due to CV19 restrictions you have to place a hand condom on prior grabbing your treat. Also it's two person limit to shop which is annoying if your in a hurry. My only two issues is the prices cause if your not careful your Candy high comes with interest rate prices. My god if Candy wasn't so good it might be cheaper to buy a dime bag and go for the original high. Second issue is the owners or workers are kinda rude and challenging to understand if they speak to you. I only know that a self serve and payment program I'd be happier with. Bad service. Weird service. Old candy. Not fresh. Gummy products were stay, some were dried up. The jelly beans were even weird. Not great.

This a candy shop in Bellevue square which carries a variety of bulk candy including M&M's, Jelly Beans, sour belts, various gummies and so much more. They also carry packaged candies like Pez dispensers, rock candy sticks, lollipops etc. The shop was clean and well organized. The owner was super nice and helpful and even threw in a free lollipop when she realized I was shopping for my daughter's birthday. The prices are a bit high (about $4 per qtr/lbs I believe) but that is what I would expect from a small business in downtown Bellevue. I will definitely come here again! read more

This place is candy heaven!! They have walls and walls of bins of all the varieties of sugary goodness you could imagine. Whatever gummy treat you could ever want is here; whatever bulk bin of your favorite grocery store candies you can find within these hallowed walls. This wide selection of sweet treats is reasonably priced, too, and the employees are so nice and helpful. read more

Came here last minute to buy a birthday present for my mom and I drove up from Portland and the lady stayed open for me to make it just before they closed to buy a case of chocolate covered gummy bears. She even through in a birthday candy cane. So sweet, wish they still had one down here! read more

Very rude lady working there. My son who is just 2 year old of course out of curiously touched the candy inside the container (every little kids does this at candy stores, they're just little kids!) the lady saw that and shaked her head very rudely and then took the whole container away. Clearly she was trying to tell us "Your toddler contaminated the WHOLE JAR!" We just walked out at that point, I hate people like this, kids will be kids and if you are a mature adult you shouldn't act that way. It ruined my day. This place is not kids friendly! Don't go! I'm a big fan for some of the hard to find candy for the ride home. But - this is why I gave it the review I did. My mom recently quit smoking after 40+ years. She is using the patch right now, but she found that she's so used to smoking that she needs something to hold on to and bring to her face, basically something to replace the physical movements of smoking. She found that suckers do the trick! Safeway/QFC has the plain boring ones. Tootsie Pops, Blow Pops, Jolly Rancher pops, etc. With A LOT OF HELP from two very patient and very very knowledgeable young ladies I got $50 worth of suckers for my Mom - all kinds you can't find anywhere else. The two girls that helped me - and should get a big pat on the back from management - are "Ruth" and "Sam". Working on 8/26 around 2:30-3:00PM Thanks girls :) read more

Ugh, this place. It's tiny! This should not be a problem, since they cram it full of candy choices, so you could in theory be able to find whatever fun thing you want. But it's always crammed full of people, so it can be hard to get to what you want. When you do find that perfect thing - giant Snickers bar, Star Wars pez set - guess what? The price isn't on it, so you have to jostle over to the cashier, wait in the line, and then decide if the price is right. And of course by then, you're committed, so you buy it anyway. It's a good strategy for the store, but doesn't make for a fun candy buying experience. Candy should be fun. read more

A CANDY BUFFET. Sweet Factory is my favorite candy shop to go to when I'm in the mood for candy. I don't usually like to snack on candy, so Sweet Factory is something special for sure. I especially love the blue striped bags that you use to fill with goodies. Some of my favorite items here include gummy frugs, mini mints, sour belts, jelly beans, sour gummy worms, candy corn, salt water taffy, nerds, candy necklaces, caramel apple pops, gummy bears, red licorice, sour skittles, mentos, dots, air heads, sour patch kids, Swedish fish, and gummy rings are all great! The place allows you to go around to each container of candy, and scoop or use tongs to get as much or as little candy as you want. They also have make your own pixie sticks, packaged candy, candy pillows, and mini candy machines. I don't mind indulging a little bit here, besides, it's candy! Good for the kid in all of us. Came here today for the first time since I was thirsty and wanted to find a waffle candy. As we entered the two ladies were discussing I do not know what since I can't understand what they were saying. We walked around but there was no hi , how may I help you. The store was empty. They used to have these gummy little sour balls. I usually would go here only to buy these! Then.......... They stopped providing them! The rest of the candy I can find cheaper in other places. Neh, try something else. Also, this place gets really crowded sometimes on the weekends. However, the cashiers are friendly and patient- not so bad for a overcrowded store filled with excited kids and candy craving teenagers! read more

I came on here to write a review for this store, and then I saw the previous review. First off, to refer to the employees as "rude maggots" is completely unacceptable. To refer to ANYONE as a maggot, is just not okay. It seems to me, that these were hard working human beings just trying to do their job. The fact that they have to deal with customers on a regular basis that would call them "rude maggots" makes them just that more impressive in my eyes. On that note, every time I have gone into the Sweet Factory, I have had a very pleasant experience. There are very few employees that work there, but each one goes above and beyond when it comes to doing their job. They are super nice and friendly, and extremely helpful. They answer any questions you have about the candy toroughly, and will even give suggestions as to what other kinds of candies you might like without overly pressuring you to spend all your money, which is more than I can say for some of the other stores in Bellevue. I have never had an unpleasant experience with the employees at the Sweet Factory - even when the store is super crowded and there are screaming children running around all over the place. Not to mention strollers that Bellevue moms like to park in the limited space that I have seen many people trip over. read more

This place has very cute décor and a huge variety of candy. I give it a low rating because the candy is extremely expensive!! They advertise a price in large print on the wall and in tiny letters underneath it says this is the price for 1/4 pound. I purchased a pound of Jelly Belly's and paid $13.40. My co-worker barely got any candy compared to me and she still spent over $8 on hers. Next time I'll get my candy from Costco! Also, this is one of those places that requires a minimum amount in order for you to use a credit card (I think it's $5). That shouldn't be an issue since their prices are so high. read more

rude maggots working at the candy store. i was treated extremely rudely by the staff there. they must have been doing inventory - 3 people filling out paperwork without lifting their head to say hello. when i went to the register the manager didn't look up and waited several seconds before saying, "give me a minute". half a minute later she's still filling out paperwork so i said "forget it" and walked out. they can take one of their gumballs and suck it. read more

I am super disappointed that the store will no longer take Sweet Factory gift cards. My son has two cards from his birthday that he wanted to use and we were told they no longer take them. I think that is bad business. They should have at least honored the cards for a year after they became independent of Sweet Factory corporate. I will have to go to the Redmond Town Center store to redeem the cards and I will not return to the Bellevue Square store. You have to earn my loyalty! read more
