The dark chocolate almond nougat is my favorite box chocolate I've ever consumed. It's a texture party that isn't overly sweet or bitter. The other items make my mouth water. Absolutely amazing chocolate! They've been in business for over 100 years! They have a huge selection- chocolates of all types: Soft centers, nuts and chews, milk or dark. They're all good! My favorites are the Bordeaux, polar bears and chocolate butter cream! One thing I love, is that you get a free sample when you walk in the door! It's always nice to try before you buy... am I right?! You can take a few in a baggie to sample or make a custom box. It's sold by weight, so you pay for what you choose. They do offer a variety of pre-packaged goodies. The lollipops are really good too! These make great gifts for any occasion! Or as a quick treat for yourself. Sees has been part of our family holiday traditions for 4 generations now!!! We absolutely love them and will always come back for more! I was just looking to see what they had but after a visiting with Angie and listening to her about the fun gifts for my Grandchildren, I decided to buy 10 of the Happy Jack boxes. We first found See's candy when visiting relatives in California years ago. We were impressed with the great taste and the reasonable prices. We were excited when See's came to Stonebriar Mall at a kiosk at the Christmas and Easter seasons a few years ago. Finally, they opened a permanent store in the mall. We were thrilled! Besides having great candy that is always fresh, the staff at this See's store is friendly and helpful. My favorites are the truffles. DH loves peanut brittle and Molasses Crisps. The grandkids love the lollipops and milk chocolate bars, and nieces and nephews love the big chocolate bunnies at Easter. Who doesn't love See's candy? No different from any other shop I've been in around the country: this little shop had two lovely and personable women working in it! The free samples are much loved by my children and the chocolate is always amazing. I know there is also a Godiva chocolates in this mall, too. Finally, after years of having merely a little kiosk selling only pre-packaged chocolates and a few other items, See's now has a genuine store in Stonebriar Centre Mall. Woohoo--It's about time!!! Those who already know about See's only need to hear this store exists. Apparently, it's the first genuine, complete, full-service, See's in Texas. Those who don't know about See's should give it a try. Trust me; you'll never go back to buying cheap chocolates or overpriced Godiva again. For Mother's Day, nothing beats a hand-selected box of her favorites. Some of our family favorites include Pecan Roll (by the slice or buy a whole roll). We also love the Chocolate Covered Cherries, various Truffles--especially the Key Lime, Orange Bon Bons, and chocolate covered nuts. The part I like best about See's is that you can buy as little or as much as you want, and of exactly what you want. You need not settle for a box containing some kinds of candy your mom/sweetheart/family doesn't like. Will someone call out the Emperor's new clothes ? I've always wanted to try out Sees candies - for one - I love candies & chocolates and next part is that this company is highly talked about by Warren Buffet. I've made 3 visits to this store and another one in Charlotte Airport (in an airport shop) and find that the the chocolates are overly hyped and tastes bad. Honestly - they are not good quality chocolates/Candies. The best in my opinion is the swiss made Lindt chocolates and the belgian made Ferrero Rocher which you get in any store - they are much cheaper than Sees and a million times better. Mr Warren Buffet - I should've known since you own Burger King and talk highly about it - your taste for good food is awful. read more

I grew up eating See's in California, and was so thrilled to find an actual store at Stonebriar! See's chocolates are the BEST. When I moved away from California, my mom would send me pounds of See's as a treat because nothing else compares. This store was reminiscent of the store of my childhood... all black and white and very clean with displays full of pre-packaged candies on one side and a counter with dozens of flavors to choose from on the other. You can have a sample when you walk in. They have tons of different flavors... from basic caramels to fruit/chocolate combinations to white chocolate soft centers to milk or dark chocolate chews... if you like chocolate, you will find something you want at See's. You can either get a few pieces (they charge by weight), order a custom box, or (my recommendation if you're a See's rookie) you can just pick up one of the pre-packaged boxes with a variety of different chocolates inside. My favorite flavor is milk buttercream... a smooth, creamy buttermilk center encased in delicious milk chocolate. I could eat half a pound of those. If you're a white chocolate fan, the divinity puffs are a must-try. If you're a fruit and chocolate person, try the orange cream. If you've never been and you like chocolate, you NEED to stop by on your next trip to Stonebriar. read more

We were here today at about 445 and this young white girl behind the counter was looking down fiddling with chocolate for about 15 minutes for an Asian woman and her child waiting at the register. During this time, the woman waiting between us and the Asians decided to leave after a few minutes of the employee not looking up or acknowledging that she had been in line. Five minutes after she left we also had still not been acknowledged and decided to leave. This service is HIGHLY unusual of Sees and there were no other workers present. I hope they will improve as this is a great mall and See's has been our family favorite for generations. read more
