As long as you're feeding samples while I'm in line, we can friends now. Get the dark chocolate scotch mallows, chocolate almonds and come pay me a visit. Those are my fav. I made a mistake of asking for a 6 clusters and didn't realize there's 2 in each cluster. I am writing to report a serious food safety incident that occurred when I visited your store at Americana in Glendale. While I have long considered See's Candies one of my favorite stores in California, a recent experience has deeply concerned me. During our visit, an employee offered my wife and me two free chocolate samples. The staff member was wearing a mask and was mumbling, making it quite difficult to understand her. Shortly after consuming the samples, which we believe were contaminated, both my wife and I became severely ill. Our symptoms lasted for 24 hours and included: - Increased body temperature and high blood pressure - Severe headaches and nausea - Confusion, disorientation, and insomnia This incident was extremely distressing. While we have enjoyed your products in the past, we will no longer be able to accept samples from See's Candies. I wanted to bring this to your attention immediately so you can investigate the handling of samples at this location to prevent other customers from getting sick. read more

I just wanted to say that the best candy's on the market is See's Candy. But what makes See's Candy great is not just it's quality but it is all about the wonderful service and caring that I get each and every time I walk into See's Candy in Century City, California. Most everyone of your stores that I have shopped in (and I have been in many) are very good. But the Century City store takes customer service to another level. Why? Because of the amazing people who know their products and service the customer with a smile and a heart full of knowledge and friendliness. The Century City store manager, Canace Nicholas, is as great a professional manager as I have seen in most any business, and also has a wonderful smile that I see as soon as I enter the store. I find that I almost never leave the store without spending $40 to $60 every visit. And I do so willingly looking forward to enjoying what I just purchase and knowing that I can't wait to come back. (Believe it or not, I shop at See's Century City on average more than twice a week. This Sees is located in the Americana and is generally not too crowded. Sometimes they have the prior season's items on sale in the front of the store. I like to grab a couple truffles before heading over to the AMC for a movie. They either have a designated sample or you can ask to try another truffle. The staff is always very friendly. read more

This See's Candies is located in the Americana in Glendale. The staff here is friendly and helpful, just like you would expect at a See's. If you're a fan of See's then this place is always going to be a treat. They are specialty candies that come in all varieties. This location is a bit of a victim of it's location. It always seems to be really busy, and the line moves very slowly. Also, they seem to have a more limited selection than other locations. Maybe it's that they sell out? This is definitely a location you stop at if you're already at the Americana, but I wouldn't recommend coming here for a specific trip. read more

See's at the Brand at Americana is a cute little chocolate location with some good options, in a very clean and organized shop. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and while browsing around the shop, was always offered assistance---plus a free sample, lol! Apparently that's one of the staples of their shop, giving out those free samples. The prices are quite good for classic chocolates, in my opinion, running $32 per pound. On par with Fannie Mae taste & pricewise, cheaper than Edelweiss but also not quite as good. Don't get me wrong, I liked what I got from See's but it's like once you go Edelweiss, it's hard to go back. But they have so many choices here and many gifts for every occasion that are very reasonably priced! Today I got a mixed box of the Mixed Peanut Butter Crunch #18 (Chunky peanut butter crunch with roasted peanuts covered in milk chocolate) and Milk Peanut Butter Pattie #74 (peanut butter with powdered sugar covered in milk chocolate). Though I like both, I think their peanut butter flavor needs a bit of work. Their chocolate is surely great but the flavor needs some extra oomph on the pb. I usually love the crunch but actually preferred the smooth patties in this instance. So I'll recommend those between the two flavors. There are a few tables strewn throughout the sidewalk outside so you can sit and munch on a few of your treats, as well. I wouldn't mind popping into See's again in a pinch for a craving! read more

I asked for Only 2 chocolate flavors and the man who was taking my order goofed and messed up one of the flavors. I told him the names of the two chocolates, I even pointed at the two chocolates (which were right next to each other in the display case). He even double checked with me while he was preparing my box. This chocolate was for my boyfriend, and when he opened it up on Valentines Day, I immediately saw the wrong chocolates. My boyfriend thought I picked a random assorted chocolate that they sell. I went back on Valentines Day, waited in the long line (again), and got a new box, and fortunately, I got my 2 flavors of chocolate. See's is a staple for the holidays! I can't think of a Christmas where I didn't see some See's candies being eaten. See's Candies are known for their chocolates & other candies. They are usually seen in malls everywhere! I love this location at the Americana. It's a smaller location but has all the necessities. It located near Brand off the beaten path so its not as busy. They were well stocked and ready for the holiday season. Some of my faves include: Apple Pie Truffle - covered in white chocolate and filled with apple pie soft center this little heart shaped nugget is soo delicious!! The flavors go together so well! LOVE! Almond Square - Chopped pieces of almonds in caramel, shaped to a rectangle and dipped in milk or dark chocolate... So YUM!! Scotchmellow - comes in milk or dark chocolate wrapped around marshmallow & caramel. Dark Molasses Chip - I love the molasses chip! The crispness of is so satisfying. It comes as a 4 piece, so you can "share". Almond Royale - rich chocolate caramel wrapped around 2 almonds, this flavor is soo decadent!! Toffee-ettes - similar to Almond Roca. So good! Lollypops - Vanilla, butterscotch, chocolate & coffee flavors, these have the best flavors! Plus they come in minis, so you don't have to have the stick in your mouth :p They had 2 boxes of the limited edition Pumpkin Pie Truffles - we picked up one and they really tasted like pumpkin pie, but a bit too sweet for my liking. The customer service was great! Quick and easy transaction, even though we were taking our time picking our faves for the custom box. To be totally honest, I like See's more than Godiva. I remember a time where a customer gifted our team a HUGE box of Godiva chocolates. I probably ate 20 pieces over a span of a few days (looking for a fave :p) but then decided they weren't as good as See's. I probably wouldn't come to Americana just for this store due to the logistics of parking & location away from parking. But if you're already at Americana, it is worth the calories for the nostalgic memories. Definitely recommended! read more
