I remember after I gave birth to my kids, I gave out either Good News candy bars or See's lollipops with "It's a Boy!" OR "It's a Girl!" complimentary stickers they offer. About a month ago, I dropped by See's Candies located in the Ala Moana Center after my errands. I decided to check out the lollipops I was thinking of picking up for baby shower favors. There were 2 very friendly workers that were eager to help. Asked them if I were to buy the lollipops, would I be able to get a "boy" and "girl" sticker for each pop since the shower is for twins? No hesitation...they said "Yes!" The shower is in 3 days so decided to pick up the lollipops today at the Ala Moana Center location even though the Aiea location is only a mile away from my home because we remembered how nice the workers were. Raquel, one of the workers we met last month was working. She remembered us and was so happy that we returned. Teddy who I believe was the manager helped us. I gave him the 2 boxes that included 30 lollipops each and informed him about the boy/girl stickers. He got the 120 stickers right away...yay! I also wanted to pick up candies for my husband and me. Guess I didn't visit See's for a long time because the cost of a 1# box is $37.25...I remember it was in the mid $20's. Oh, what the heck! Gonna treat us to some tasty candies so I ordered 1/2# Molasses Chips (husband's favorite) and 1/2# Peanut Crunch (my favorite). Teddy informed us that they have 1/2# pre-packaged "Classic Favorites" on the tiered circular shelves located in the middle of the store. We found my favorite on that shelf and the Molasses Chips in a box on the wall shelf so we saved a total of $2.65 or paid $34.60 a pound. So, before you buy 1/2# of your favorite candy, check out all the shelves first. Any discount is better than nothing, right?! My thoughts about See's Candies as a whole...the stores are always clean, presentation and displays of their items are so neat and organized and the workers are always friendly and helpful. Thumbs up! Oh, and we can't forget...they give you a free candy sample when you come in...yum! This store is located right outside of the Ala Moana Center's food court and there's lots of free parking but sometimes hard to find open spaces.

Located on the ground floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center near the Foodcourt On the Waikiki side of the shopping center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, besides giving you a sample of their product. They had so much to choose from and purchased for our Easter gifts to pass out! They have very good quality products and a large variety to choose from! Parking shared my other tenants of the shopping center, but they have lots of parking avalible.

If you're looking for an easy, elegant holiday gift, See's Candies at Ala Moana Center is a great choice. I stopped by the evening before Christmas Eve and was surprised by how quick and stress-free the experience was--street-level parking (between the center of the mall and Macy's) was easy, and the store is bright, clean, and well organized. The staff was friendly and proactive, offering samples and helpful suggestions. They also had a limited-time holiday treat: a dark-chocolate-covered marshmallow caramel shaped like a Christmas tree--perfect as a small add-on or stocking stuffer. I appreciated that they offer smaller box options as well, which made it easy to shop for more diet-conscious recipients without sacrificing presentation or quality. Teddy D., the manager, personally helped curate a custom box of dark chocolate nuts and chews and made sure everything was wrapped beautifully in festive red paper with a satin ribbon. Teddy was fast and extremely detail-oriented, even trimming the ribbon ends neatly--one of those small touches that instantly makes a gift feel polished and thoughtful. If you need a gift that looks great, travels well, and works for a range of tastes and lifestyles, this See's location makes it easy. I'll definitely be back for future gifting.

See's Candies, which has a history in the United States and opened in 1921, is very famous, but it can be said that it is a nostalgic taste that has been eaten since childhood, especially for American residents. In 1998, when I first visited California, my friend came to the airport to pick me up with a large box of See's candy. I tried it as soon as I got home, but it was quite intensely sweet for me, so I did not finish the box of chocolates during my stay. But I didn't want to hurt my friend's feelings, so I gratefully took the chocolate back to Japan as a souvenir. I don't know what to say, but when I ate it in Japan, it tasted nostalgic, a reminder of America! My family and I shared See's candy & chocolate. When I visited California again, I went to See's Candies myself and bought a small assorted box. Before I knew it, I became a fan of their chocolate. I remember being happy to find See's Candies at Kahala Mall when I moved to Hawaii. Now I often stop by the Ala Moana store, but when I see new seasonal chocolates and candies in addition to the regular chocolates in the showcase, I can't help but be drawn into the store. I'm here. The Ala Moana store is popular and you often have to wait at the cash register, but in such cases, the friendly staff will hand out sample chocolate at a good time. So maybe you can wait without getting annoyed even in a long line. Now that the holiday season is here, the store is full of Halloween and Christmas products. It's exciting and fun to make a custom box with the smiles of your family and friends in mind! There is also a combination of Hawaiian style candies, so it's perfect for souvenirs. Overly sweet but still an iconic taste of good old American history! LOL Please enjoy See's candy and chocolate while being careful of tooth decay!

Can you believe that See's Candies has been at Ala Moana Center for 35 years? Today, 3-1-24, is their 35th Anniversary! What a way to start the month... and on an Aloha Friday! I saw a post on Facebook that invited everyone to the Ala Moana Center celebration! Each person got a free tote bag and a sample of chocolate! (Today's sample was Butter Cream!) Customers also got a chance to play the Scavenger Hunt and Guess How Many Candies in Each Jar games. It was really fun! The staff were super friendly and welcoming! The guy at the door was so patient in explaining everything to the customers! The gal behind the counter was so kind and encouraging about participating in the games, didtributing game sheets, and passing out pens! I really enjoyed the free, covered parking, wonderful air-conditioning, cute greeting cards, and Easter merchandise (especially the Bunny House and bunny totes)!

Here to try new mint chocolate chip! Service is always with a smile. Pretty busy with the holidays near. Love this location. Free parking just outside the store if your lucky! I was given a coupon for my next visit!

Happy National Lollipop Day! Thanks to my Nadine C who notified me of this sweet day and that See's is giving away a lollipop in celebration no purchase is needed. Not sure if it was timed but the theme currently is their "Lolly Palooza" and the current July deal is 20% off packaged Lollypops & Little Pops woah!! Lollipops galore of all kinds individual, packaged and themed "Hello Baby" and other tins and one I couldn't resist "Beach Ball" color pop tin which is going to a work bestie. Offering various chocolates as well this sweet place was never shy for a treat and with a display of greeting cards and gift bag it's a one stop shop to take care of that special event or just because, BunBun and I got our sugar fix even entered See's Lolly Palooza Sweet-stakes to win lollipops for a year lol! See's has always been there for many events and celebrations and today we celebrate the lollipop with you! Thank you!

This Sees location is so busy but has lots of friendly and helpful staff! Patty Mae is exceptionally nice, friendly and personable! We have been coming to the Ala Moana location even though we live on the East Side. My husband loves the Pecan Roll. My favorites include the Dark Peppermint Patties, Dark chocolate raisins (so plump and soft), Scotchmallow because i love marshmallow! It's so much fun to go to the counter and pick out your favorites! Just like a kid in a "Candy Store"! Patty Mae and her manager Todd display such professionalism and awesome customer service! Warren Buffett should be proud to have such excellent staff at Ala Moana shopping center! Kudos to Patty Mae!

Business owners read and the dedicated ones will reach out to you. I am living proof. When I went to Jejubing in Ala Moana for dessert per family's request in Nov 2022, I made a pit stop to See's Candies (SC) to try the Bridge Mix that my friend has just been raving about over and over. Curiosity got the best of me, and I purchased a 1/2 bag that I picked up off the shelf. At $32/lb I'll admit this was good except for coming across a rancid nut that had me disappointed. I posted my review a month later after this experience and within the hour after posting the business owner (Johnnie W.) reached out to me apologizing for what I encountered. I was asked to provide my information and a district sales manager would be contacting me within 2 days. But guess what? I was contacted in less than 2 hours by Eric. I was stunned and impressed with such dedication to customer service. Eric asked me to stop by the store as SC wanted to restore my feelings about their products. The next thing you know, Christmas and New Year's flew by. During the busy holidays, I refused to go to Ala Moana as I didn't want to deal with the heavy foot traffic and aggressive drivers looking parking stalls. I finally made my way to SC last week Friday. It was just before noon, and I walked into a very busy store with many customers, so I stood in line. While waiting, a staff offered me a sample (marzipan?), which was just delicious. When it was my turn, I advised the staff I was here to pick-up a package. After providing my name, within several minutes I was given a paper bag with handles containing Bridge Mix and a sample bag. I am truly impressed with SC dedication to product quality and customer service. I have been purchasing their candies for YEARS and satisfied with their products. I even recall purchasing SC in San Francisco to take back to Japan as souvenirs when I flew back in the mid-90's for my maternal grandmother's memorial services. Japanese don't really care for American confectionary because of its excessive sweetness to their taste but commented on the high quality of product. SC has earned my respect as the company truly believes and values the finest ingredients and paired with excellent customer service. I will continue to patronize SC.

We saw some people illegally parked on the street right on the corner, but they didn't care, they would brave a citation just for these amazing treats! I am sure the neighbors who live across from this place think this is a massive headache, to have such a popular chocolate place right in their own neighborhood - either that, or a blessing, since they can just walk right across! There are 4 tiny stalls in the driveway in the front of the Doggie Bakery and this place, but it looks far too challenging to get in and out and onto the main street, which is insanely busy on a weekend. We parked in the neighboring lot and purchased something from another business just so we could get some chocolates here. If the parking situation were better, I'd come back. I purchased the Hokkaido Soft Serve (weekends only, I think), it was delicious but I was expecting more fatty mouthfeel for something that was labeled as "Hokkaido". It was lighter than I was expecting. The chocolates, on the other hand, were fabulous and worth every, expensive, penny. By the way, who the heck nowdays says "worth every penny"? Probably old folks like me who knew what a penny was, and now due to inflation and the Federal Reserve nixxing the penny, it's probably worth 0.0012 cents now. Rainbow Shave Ice - it really does taste like shave ice! I came here mainly for this, as I've heard the hype and the hype is real! Hibiki Whisky Chocolate - nice and lovely. Dubai Chocolate - with gold leaf and everything. The Dubai craze is insane. This was good, but the least of my favorites. Six chocolates + one soft serve = $30.

I don't really have a sweet tooth-I'm a no icing, no frosting kind of girl. I wouldn't dream of eating a cinnamon roll with icing, that's a no for me. But their donuts are delicious all the same and can definitely scratch the itch if you do have a sweet tooth. As someone who's vegan, it can be hard to find a dessert I actually feel good about, and this is one of those places. Everything is taro-based and cooked in coconut oil, which I really appreciate. Just a heads up-all of their donuts are taro donuts. The flavors come from the toppings, so if you see something like a strawberry one, the donut itself isn't strawberry--it's the topping. Their offerings change, ( they do have their core donuts that don't change-and I usually go for one "naked"--no glaze. Sometimes I'll get the honey and sea salt one. Right now they have a seasonal donut called Black Sabbath that's black sesame, brûléed banana. Every time I've been in, I'm greeted right away, and there's plenty of free parking. They get your order out super quick. If you don't want a whole donut--or you're eating in your car and don't want to make a mess--their little donuts called Holeys are the perfect pop-in-your-mouth option. The place has always be well kept and clean - and they have a very spacious, and equally as clean, bathroom. They also have an app where you can check the menu, keep track of your rewards, and manage gift cards, which makes it really convenient. Also, if you're not signed up for their rewards program, do it. You're basically passing up free donuts if you don't. Give them a go, share your experience and if your taste buds celebrated. SYOY! A must visit for anyone visiting the islands or locals on island. Big island candies at Ala Moana…read moreis located on the first floor near the center stage. You're always greeted with samples at the door, usually a cookie and a chocolate sample. Their chocolate and cookies are made out of Hilo Hawaii and flown to Oahu. Locally made and always fresh. They have an assortment of treats such as macadamia nut shortbread cookies dipped in various chocolates, brownies, rocky road chocolates, macadamia nut chocolates, pineapple manju, chocolate mints and cute gift sets as well. I have a relative that needs to watch her sugar intake and they have excellent no sugar added brownies, cookies and macadamia nut chocolates. For myself, I love everything here but my favorites are the dark and milk chocolate dipped shortbread cookies and macadamia nut chocolates. These are fantastic gifts to buy if visiting the islands. i buy treats from here to bring as gifts when visiting folks outside of Hawaii and often buy them for myself to eat!

My favorite cookie shop in Hawaii!! I personally think their quality is way better than Honolulu…read moreCookie Company and am so glad there's a location in Oahu. They give out samples as you enter, and you can always ask to try other things as well. They also have a rewards program. For every $5 spent, you get a little stamp. I feel like they're pretty liberal with their stamps and round up. Once you complete the card, you get $5 off or you can opt for a cooler bag. Boxes are always very cute and they seem to have frequent collabs with other businesses.

Being this is the only place on island I know of that sells Royce Chocolates from Japan of course…read morethey get 5 stars! The guy helping me was super nice also. They put the chocolate in an insulated sleeve and even include a mini ice packet to ensure safe travels to your destination :) If you have never tried Royce Chocolate's I highly recommend splurging a little. If I recall it was around $18 for one box. These chocolates literally melt in your mouth have the smoothest flavor profile I have ever tasted. I am not really sure how to properly explain Royce chocolate and it's something you just have to eat to find out. I love the dusting of cocoa powder on them as well. My faves are the Champagne and Matcha, so far. I still haven't tried them all.

Tearrific selections of tea…read more.. As a tea lover I was really wanted to give this spot a visit knowing that they have some impressive selection of various teas. I assume the lot right beside the shop is some parking but since I've already secure a parking in the area decided to walk over and is very easy to find on Beachwalk. I was surprised of how small the shop is though there was two tables it was very close together and with already a couple seated with a pot of hot tea I did feel comfortable seating with my simple cup but did manage to browse around the various Royce Chocolates that they have and along with a display case filled with all types of desserts. As I approached the service counter the gentleman was meh and asked about their tea to which he gave me the menu and after a quick glance went with one of their specialties "Cranberry Mist" perhaps with the holidays approaching it sounded festive as it's Ceylon tea and cranberry cocktail...oo! Nothing fancy a tea brewed perfectly paired with the cranberry cocktail to kick it up a notch no garnish nothing exciting but don't get me wrong it was wonderful not too sweet very light and refreshing and just what I needed on this hot afternoon in Waikiki. Thank you!
