They are moving to a new location on Republican street and will be sharing space with the Hawaiian Chip Co. location. Menehune Mac products are a cut above other local offerings. Case in point is their dark chocolate. They use a high grade chocolate that comes out of northern CA called Guittard. If you have ever tried their dark chocolate products and compared it with the competition there is no comparison. The Menehune Mac offerings are clearly better tasting. They offer a host of other delicious products such as party mixes, chocolate arare, Mac nut candies in different flavors. Lots of logo items too with their signature Menehune mascot- great branding. What a wonderful find this place is. They have a variety of food items in their store. And it's not a place for just tourists either. They had cookies, party mix, macadamia boxes, and even single macadamia nuts. I even saw some jams in there. I really like that there are tasting containers for practically everything in there. I wanted to try their lilikoi bars and there was a containers with free samples. Of course my hungry little daughter was with me and she was eyeing me when I had a sample so I had to give her a piece. Her response when she ate it "Mmmm." Haha, and then she said "more". I got some of their snack pack cookies and I got a few pieces of their macadamia nuts. One was a strawberry creme macadamia nut and the other was an orange creme macadamia nut. They were each 80 cents each. Good deal. It tasted pretty good, kind of like ice cream. You can also make your own box of your own favorite flavors. I heard there's a tour of how they make the chocolate and I would love to see that the next time I come. This place would be a great place to get snacks for people and maybe some Christmas gifts. I'm looking forward to coming back again.

This year, though when I was placing my order, I was excited to see that the delivery fee would be waived, presumably because I was spending $140 on a bunch of fruit. But when I went to check out, it said that the delivery couldn't be free in Hawaii so I had to pay a delivery fee as well as an extra $25 Hawaii surcharge and then when I dared to see what that total was, it said how much do you want to tip? I'm a huge dipper. I love tipping culture. I used to work in the service industry so I get it, but this just sent me off the edge. I'm sure that the product would still be amazing but the extra fees just lost me. I opted for Harry and David and my father was very excited.

Unfortunately, the employee who made my drink added way too much caramel. All I could taste was caramel, and it completely overpowered the rest of the drink. I thought only a few caramel swirls were supposed to be added. I'm not sure if the employee was new, but someone should train them on the correct way to make this drink. I remember at least twice that I came here for ice cream because I thought having ice cream was an easier cheaper choice than buying actual lunch in the food court. And so, I found myself here at this Baskin Robbins ice cream store in the heart of Ala Moana shopping center, near center stage on at least 3 separate times. I just found the time to file a review after so many visits here. Each time, it was either on a chill Saturday or Sunday, since I normally am at Ala Moana for shopping or playing a Pokemon Go event. Sometimes, both on the same day. I would come to this Baskin Robbins store because I was craving ice cream and not wanting to overspend on a real lunch. Maybe ice cream was a better choice at the time, especially due to budgetary constraints, but it did taste good and definitely was delicious. An ice cream treat is good anywhere and anytime. Every time I come here, a nice person is behind the counter and waiting for my order. At least in my experience, it was someone of high school or college and usually a female. I would generally look at what's in the freezers in the store and pick what was in there. My favorites would be the general chocolate or something with chocolate in there. Very rarely I would get something that's not chocolate to sample or treat myself otherwise. The overall experience here at this Baskin Robbins ice cream shop is quite nice. The only issue with this store is when you see random people come in and ask for samples. More than 2 samples that kind of bothers me. But then again, you can't mess with free. When I come here, I usually buy a small pint that's close to $10, which is basically like 3-4 scoops of ice cream that's tightly packed into a pint sized container. A large size is close to $15 and I definitely can't finish that on an empty stomach. While the single and double scoops aren't enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, a smaller pint container that's around a price of a plate lunch is more palatable for me and it fits the bill. Baskin Robbins is one of those brand name ice cream brands that prides itself on being the best at what they do. In my experiences here, the staff here is friendly and awesome. There usually isn't a line generally, so you can get your ice cream purchase pretty quickly. For the most part though, it's nice to grab ice cream here. There's a couple more ice cream spots in the Ala Moana shopping center, with Hagen Daz being the one in the food court near by, but I generally favor Baskin Robbins, due to its simplicity and being cheaper than their competition. And so, if you love ice cream, consider this Baskin Robbins location if you are shopping or want that ice cream fix in Ala Moana shopping center. Baskin Robbins ice cream is priced fairly and competitively. You can get a decent amount of ice cream for around $10 if it's in a take home pint. If you don't want too much calories or just prefer a smaller size, you can do the single scoop or double scoop. Best bet would be to buy the larger container for added value and you could always save it / freeze it for future use too, which is what I did on some occasions. This Baskin Robbins location is located inside the Ala Moana shopping center next to center stage. It's physically located at 1450 Ala Moana Boulevard in Honolulu. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, you have a wonderful option of parking in Ala Moana shopping center. Best bet would be to come here early enough to secure the best parking spot before the mad rush comes in. And if you are like me, many bus routes start or end service at Ala Moana shopping center. You can choose the right one that's for you. And of course, there's always Uber and Lyft if you require that service. And so, if you love ice cream without the fancy, consider Baskin Robbins for your daily ice cream fix. I promise you won't regret coming here. I probably do after a while, but that's probably if I had too much too soon. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

She is so kind and the lei are perfect. And standard shipping is FREE!! She really really went the extra mile to make our girls' graduation special. We are feeling very grateful. We headed down Kalakaua Avenue and tried to locate it based on the address on Yelp. I got a bit confused when I was expecting an actual store or a boutique of some sort. Well, we parked on the street next to this apartment complex and searched around. The tell tale sign was that there was a business that was in the apartment complex. That was basically our first clue that CandyIncredible was here too. It didn't take long before we saw the CI logo on one of the doors. Oh well. My friend did her thing while I waited and she came out pleasantly surprised. It was a candy store operating in humble surroundings. While I would probably prefer my chocolate store to be in a well established brand, this start up is an interesting find and probably worth the effort to explore. The prices I have been told were reasonable and I found it to be good in taste. We all have our favorite locales for our chocolate and candies already, but do feel free to come over here and see what they have. After all, they are Candy Incredible. Its more of a sample room for the various brands they sell than an actual shop, but the owner was so nice and she even gave us some samples for new chocolates just released! They offer wholesale options which is what I plan to do and their gift baskets look good, very high quality. All in all was very pleased. P.S. Their shop is a little hard to find because it is in an apartment complex, just google map it and you will be fine!
