Great service from a very nice kind employee. Before getting a free sample, she asked if I prefer dark or milk chocolate. How considerate! No other See's associate has asked me that before. :) Chocolate per pound is now $35.50 per pound. Kinda pricey but for high quality and amazing taste. Some of my favorites are the California Brittle (no one makes it better!), Marzipan, Toffee coated ones and all truffles. See's make great gifts in a range of gift box sizes. They make special candies and chocolates for major holidays, too. This location, next to Albertsons, conveniently sells greeting cards. I love how all See's are clean and organized. Next time I get sushi in this strip mall, I'll stop by for sweets here. read more

Delicious large selection with seasonal offers. As with all See's stores I've been too they offer samples and my kids do enjoy the "extra" candy they get to taste onsite. The customer service is helpful and they make good suggestions if you tell them what you like and don't like. Overall, a good location to visit. read more

LOVE See's and especially this location! It truly FEELS like a neighborhood specialty shop as the staff recognizes me every time I go in! Because of the improved quality of the products, I ended up returning 3x before Christmas to buy more "Thank You" presents and Christmas presents! People LOVED their presents! (And, now, people know what to buy ME for presents! LOL!) Thanks for being such a GREAT place, See's! BTW, wish that your corporate "Inventory PLANNING" Dept did a better job as your store here in HB sometimes gets COMPLETELY wiped out for some of your products. Seeds chocolates are VERY expensive, but every piece is delicious. I use it for gifts for out of state friends. I like that people with gluten sensitivity can eat these chocolates. I love the different configurations of chocolate boxes and unique holiday items. The service is always friendly. You get a free choice of sample candy with every purchase! read more

So happy to know something useful has come to this very empty and quiet corner location! I don't remember what it was but in 2019 they added a See's temporary location for the holidays. Then by early 2020 it was gone. To my surprise, they added the sign before the 2020 holidays and it was permanent !! I visit HB a lot and I absolutely love See's Candies so I will be a frequent visitor to this new location. I went yesterday to grab a pound of chocolate as I had a gift certificate from my work. I do like that this location is practicing social distancing and COVID safety protocols. There was only one customer inside so we were allowed in. The employees greeted us which is always nice. We grabbed an already wrapped box of chocolate variety, paid and left. We even got our free See's sample in a to go wrapped bag of course! If I could give them 0 stars. My company is hosting an event and we wanted to order 55 boxes of truffles to give for a gift of the woman's group. I called the store for help and was advised to use "pick click and Pay" which I did after paying the order was placed on hold the charge is showing on my card but I was told it takes 12 minutes to go through on there end. I call back a hour later and they still see on their end the order is on hold. Again I'm told We can't give you your order until it's processed on our end. I requested the number to the customer service number is provided and it closed at 4:30. Please update your POS process you force me to put $1800 worth of charges on my staffs card due to your broken process. You're selling chocolate not diamonds. Over all worst experience read more

We have shopped for many years at See's Candies all over Southern California. We had purchased $25 gift cards in bulk from Costco and used one when recently visiting the newly opened store in Seacliff Village. Unfortunately, they are dealing with new employees who do not know how to operate the computer register system. I went into the store a week ago during the Christmas rush and the clerk had to re-do the transaction due to incorrect pricing charged. He had slid the gift card during the initial transaction and emptied out the card. When the balance said "zero/declined" when we finally went to finish the transaction, they would NOT only honor the card they had emptied-out, they basically accused me of fraud and trying to use a bogus gift card. I left the store emptied-handed because "they did not know how to verify the gift card was emptied through their computer register system." I was told the manager "Bonnie" would only be able to do that the following morning and I would receive a call back. I didn't get that call; I followed up myself finally the next afternoon. "Bonnie" didn't clarify if she could verify the card was indeed a $25 gift card that had been emptied out with numerous swipes by the clerk but I could come in and retrieve the box of candy I tried to purchase. You would think they would have tried to compensate me for the time wasted, the embarrassment, the accusation of fraud or even a call from their corporate offices? Didn't happen. Train your employees on how to use your sophisticated computer register system before you accuse a customer of gift card fraud. read more
