$51 worth of candy! I really gotta cut back

Nothing to say really, good chocolate, good candy good customer service and free samples!

See's Candies is one of my absolute favorites. I can never choose just one treat because everything is so good. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I really appreciate the complimentary sample so I can discover new favorites each time. They offer a wide variety of candies, including sugar-free options, which is great for everyone. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but the quality makes it totally worth it. Always a must-visit for a sweet indulgence!

My Mother used to buy me candies from See's, so I have a special place in my heart for this business. I particularly like the shiney white wall panels, inside and out. It all feels very cool and serene, if a bit clinical. - Sometimes it can get crowded, and the wait can extend, as the person in front of you buys fifty different candies, one at a time. The staff are generally efficient, but sometimes I detect a bit of testiness in their manner. As to the candies, for me it is always the dark chocolate creams. And the dark fudge [be sure to ask them to cut it into sections]. And the "birthday cake" candies covered in multicolor sprinkles. Your purchase will be placed in a large white shopping bag with double handles, which are very nice.

The customer service at this location horrible. This specific shop is located in Grossmont center by Panera bread. Directly across from Macy's. Regrettably I frequent sees quite of often.... I love their chocolate. But this location is terrible. There's always a loooong line and 1 person working. And I get that the 1 person is overwhelmed but dang... sooo rude. The young lady was so rude. I will continue to visit my local sees store in Otay ranch mall that has excellent, prompt customer service.

This is an awesome See's Candy. Not only did they have everything I wanted in store, they had a bunch of new items as well! I have been going to See's for years and love to bring back a few boxes for family when I come back to Florida. This time, we got 5 1/2 pound boxes and a few other things. The lady helping us was so nice and patient and let my nephew have whatever free piece of chocolate he wanted. She was very patient as my sister and I planned out all of the boxes for people who live different kinds of candy. The store was clean as pretty much any See's I have been to is. It feels a bit more modern inside though and it felt bright. We did not feel rushed at all and were able to get everything we wanted. I will likely return to this location. Try the Rum Nuggat!!

This is a nice See's Candies. I came in to pick up a few items for some friend's stocking stuffers. I was greeted when I walked in, and I think the little old lady was startled when I answered her question on how I had been. She did ask, so I went over and explained how my day went. I started by picking up a few Mint Cream Lollypops for .80 a piece. I do with they had a deal where perhaps you buy six and you get one free or something. Also, I picked up a couple of bags of the Dark Chocolate Foil Balls. They are a little pricey at $6.40, but they are very good. For me, I just had to buy a bag of their famous seasonal cashew brittle smothered in a buttery white chocolate. This stuff is winner! At the register, the little old lady did not ask me anymore questions, but rung me up with a big smile on her face, so I winked and said thank you my dear and walked out. Nice lady, good sense of humor, and great candy....

We were searching for some retro candy for an upcoming event. The warehouse isn't huge, but it is big for a candy store. It is really for buying cases of bulk candy. It is not a cutely displayed vintage candy store, but it also does not claim to be. It was a really good place to get the bulk of the candy we needed for the event. Everything was sold in large amounts. We picked up some items such as jawbreakers, candy cigarettes, Big League Chew, and Now and Laters. I did wish some times came in more of a variety pack and that others came in slightly smaller portions. We did decide to buy some of the items elsewhere because we simply didn't want that much of one flavor of a certain type of candy. I think it is a great place to buy candy in bulk, though I do think the variety could be a bit better. All in all, it was a useful trip for us to prepare for our event.

And yes...I had to explore all three! Both markets were bright, clean, and incredibly well organized. One of my favorite sections was the tea aisle. As someone who absolutely loves tea, I was in heaven. Their selection is huge, with everything from loose-leaf teas to powdered varieties that you don't typically find in traditional American grocery stores. I'll definitely be back to stock up on a few new favorites. I originally stopped in to purchase a matcha whisk set, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. That didn't stop me from finding a few treasures, though! I ended up browsing the cookware section and picked up a beautifully designed set of reusable chopsticks along with beginner-friendly M-shaped training chopsticks. One unexpected highlight was getting to try a hand massage machine. It applies pressure to acupuncture points throughout your hand, and wow--it felt amazing! I'm seriously considering going back just to buy one. The produce section also looked fresh and inviting, so I can definitely see myself returning to shop for groceries. Plus, since my sons love anime, I already know they'll enjoy checking out the merchandise store with all the fun Japanese collectibles and character items. Whether you're looking for authentic Japanese groceries, unique kitchenware, specialty teas, or fun gifts, Tokyo Central & Main is absolutely worth visiting. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--you'll probably leave with more than you planned, just like I did! And you already know you can always thank me later

When there is a popular event happening downtown... okay; maybe that once a year event happening downtown (ComicCon) this place was packed with people for some reason even though there was nothing "ComicCon" about it. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the way Kyle treated me. I was there with my 5 yr old and 8 yr old children and it was upsetting that this interaction happened in front of them. I was waiting for the signing and needed directions about where to go and what to do. Instead of providing clear guidance, Kyle gave me multiple different directions and was r, which left me confused and stressed about missing the event. When I asked for clarification, his tone came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. What made the experience even more disappointing was that he was noticeably kind and friendly to my husband but his attitude toward me felt completely different towards me. As a customer, I expected to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect no matter what gender. Comic-Con is already a hectic environment, and customers rely on staff to help make these special events enjoyable. Instead, this interaction added unnecessary frustration and took away from what should have been a fun family memory. After spending more than $400 and looking forward to the signing, I left feeling disappointed by the customer service. After the confusion, I spoke with the actor and got my figure signed. They acknowledged that things were confusing and said something along the lines of, "Sorry for the confusion," and explained that things were a bit weird with how everything was being handled. Their kindness and willingness to explain stood in stark contrast to the experience I had with Kyle. Although thats not the interaction I was hoping for with the actress. I would have preferred a joyful meet and greet autograph as opposed to an awkward apology from the actress, who was lovely. I hope management addresses this so future customers are treated consistently and respectfully, especially when families with young children are involved.
