Best candy shop in the world! Is it expensive? Sure is, but it's worth it. According to my receipt, a pound of chocolate is $36.50 bucks now. I worked at a See's in the Bay Area in the early 2000s and a pound used to be under 13 bucks. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and the woman who came out of the back was very friendly and kind. She asked me if I wanted a sample- yesss, please- and asked if I wanted something with nuts or no nuts- she gave me a dark cali brittle- LOVE. I ended up buying $41 worth of randomly bagged candy for me and my fam and in return I got a stamped reward card for June- If you spend 40 bucks in a transaction, you get a stamp for the month. Get 3 months stamped by October and you get a $20 gift card- more stamps equals a higher denomination gift card but I don't remember what she said. She also threw in a handful of samples while checking out. I guess this is a new thing bc I was at a see's candies in Reno earlier in the week and they also gave me a healthy serving of samples (almond royales & peppermint krispies). This location gave me an even more generous sample of almond royales and cafe latte krispies. Love it. Will I be back? Always. read more

The candy is delicious, but don't go here during lunch. I was the third person in line at noon, two voices in the back didn't bother to come help even though the only employee at the counter requested it. Once two more customers came in, help was requested again, and the employee who came out front to assist proceeded to help customer number three until I, the second customer, protested. There needs to be a better way to purchase pre-packed items so you don't have to wait 20 minutes while someone packs a custom box. read more

As soon as I walked in, all my childhood memories came rushing back...the incredible smell, the looks and the friendly staff as if nothing has changed. My parents used to take us to See's in California for special occasions or treats, and I always remember it being a bid deal if a box of See's Candies was given as a gift. I'm so happy that I found this location close to us, I was able to buy special treats for my wife and daughters for Valentine's Day! First of all, it's See's Candies. There isn't a single thing to NOT love! But the ladies at this location are absolutely amazing. I had placed an online pickup order, and had a bit of trouble seeing when it would be ready for pickup. I contacted customer support, and was told to call the location. The woman informed me that they could have it ready for me within ten minutes! I go inside to grab it, and for the "inconvenience" (which I will NEVER be inconvenienced by a wait time here, they're understandably busy!) They gave me five free pieces of Marzipan, and an extra free sample. I've been to this location a few times, and I'm always so happy with my experiences. The service was superior. It made me feel like I was back in the 80's/90's when customer service was more personable. I went in to accompany a friend only but with service like that I ended up spending $57. I enjoyed my visit to Sees way more than I should have. Walked in and the store was empty. It's probably nostalgia but I love walking into sees stores. There was 1 worker, she was a little bit older with blonde hair. I wish I got her name because she was an absolute delight. She immediately greeted us and offered some samples. She did a great job listening to what we liked and she gave me a raspberry filled dark chocolate, which I loved. She was friendly and easy to chat with. I almost wish a bunch of people didn't all come into the store at once cause I wouldn't like to have taken my time. I felt a little bad cause 5 different groups all showed up and started asking questions while she was still clearly helping me. One customer asked if there was sugar free candy lol. I just hope they were all nice to the sees lady cause she was a gem. Oh and ya the chocolate is great too haha. Clean and WHITE inside so many choices to choose from, signature flavor that is being printed is birthday with sprinkles. I wasn't a fan it's covered in white chocolate and sprinkles to sweet for me. Another featured flavor is dark chocolate orange truffle was pretty good but my old time favorable is dark chocolate raspberry that is the absolute best, in my opinion. At Christmas, a distant relative gives your family a box & you pinch the corner of every piece until you find a caramel one! My personal favorite is the Scotchmallow! The lady who helped me was moving her hair out of her face, serving candy, and ringing people up taking cash and credits with the same pair of gloves (repeatedly). I think once you finish ringing someone up, fresh new gloves should go on. Also keep the hair pinned back so you don't have to repeatedly touch it while packaging candy. Very unsanitary. There's no denying that this candy is absolutely delicious! I was happy to know that they opened this store near my home. However, my review has more to do with the behavior of the ladies who work there. At a recent visit to purchase a few boxes of candy I was appalled when the worker there forced a very small child to put a mask on while in the store. It was obvious to me that the child was uncomfortable with the mask regime and refused to wear it. After all, he was very young and didn't comprehend the necessity of the mask. So to make matters worse, she tempted him with a piece of candy if he would comply! This is outrageous behavior for an adult to bribe a child with candy. The number one ploy of child predators! To make matters even worse, the employee then employed the help of the child's mother to force the child to accept the offer of candy in exchange of the mask wearing! What kind of a message are you sending this small child?? read more
