I came here for a Christmas gift. They always have lots of options as far as pre-made boxes go. I choose one and headed to the counter to pay. They were giving out free samples of their raspberry dark chocolate truffle, which will be featured for Valentine's Day. It was delicious. They also let me sample another truffle from the case. So reliable for gifts especially around the holidays. They were busy but the line moved quick and service was efficient. I picked up a 20-piece custom gift box and they even packaged it in a festive wrapping paper for me. I love the variety in flavors they offered and sampling a bunch of them is always fun. Mona is the BEST!!! Yes, I'm greedy and there's times that I'm always wanting sweets. Mona introduced me to dark chocolate in which, I was never a fan of before. Sees Candies truly has my heart. I have always been such a fan of this place and their delicious chocolates. I love that they welcome you with a sample, and they have so many different kinds of chocolates to choose from. My all time favorites are the butterscotch square, cashew brittle, and the milk butterchew. I was overwhelmed by the scent l of great chocolate as soon as I opened the door. My eyes met the iconic black and white checkerboard patterned floor as if I had just entered into a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Was I in a dream? And then Karen (the salesperson) appeared and I came back into reality. Okay, let's get real here. The chocolate is divine. Karen did bring me a sample piece to try (chocolate covered brittle) YUM! I looked around for a little bit. Their prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for right? I ended up with a 1/2lb custom mixed box of mostly dark chocolate. I just love going into See's Candies to pick up a box of candy for my family. It's like going back into time with the black and white checkered floors. The ladies wear the old fashioned aprons as well. I can imagine my grandparents visiting here. They will let you sample the candies if you ask. We always got Godiva/Lindt for holiday gifts. Today we accidentally discovered this place and it seemed that the little one was more excited than us. Since I've never seen See's Candies in the New England area, so I took a deeper look at this company. At first, I thought it's a local brand only exists in the west coast, to my surprise, they do have many seasonal locations in the Northeastern and 3 locations in MA. We bought 2 boxes of Christmas gift sets for our friends and several ornaments with butterscotch lollipops. We also tried the Butterscotch Square Chocolate. I was overwhelmed by the varieties of chocolate and the enriched flavor. With firm brown sugar vanilla and heavy cream in the center and and covered by milk chocolate, one piece of square could make you feel the love and warmth in the chill winter time! The staff there were super nice and friendly. Btw, do not forget your free samples at the end of the purchase. They usually offer you one piece of the customized ones. I recommend going to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. RMCF provides military discounts on all of their items. See's Candies does not and I'm not really sure what items they do. In reply to the business manager, I tried to purchase a pre-packaged box of chocolates (from along the wall) nothing special and was told that it didn't qualify for a military discount. read more

Yummy to my tummy. I grew up on See's and they have not changed one bit. Same great chocolate and treats in the fancy, schmancy wrapping. The best chocolate place! Simply the best. People who work here always make us feel so welcomed. The chocolate sweets are right on the spot. They are fresh and not too sweet. I bought a can of Toffee-ettes for hubby when we first started dating. He threw it away in the garbage bin after he had one piece because he was on a diet and he knew he wouldn't stop eating those. The samples aren't the small typical sample sizes.. They are the full size chocolates. I always manage to have a few chocolates before I make my choices on what to buy. The chocolates are sold by weight and can be ship anywhere. See's offers speciality items at different times of the year. Be sure stop in for a visit when you want a sweet treat. You will be very pleased with the high quality of their chocolate . In fact their motto is "Quality without compromise". The staff is always so nice, my last visit I probably sampled (4) different types of chocolates, and was able to get some great suggestions when filling up our box. Sees candies are amazing- creamy, smooth, rich chocolate flavors, and not too sweet! Their matcha chocolate is also really good, and perfect for matcha lovers since the matcha flavor is very prominent. My favorites are their NAMA chocolate series, wafers, and their matcha potechi crunch (matcha chocolate mixed with crumbled potato chips- sounds a little crazy but super delicious, with a little salty and a little sweet). Their chocolate items are super high quality and the price tag does match, but it's worth it to try at least once. You used to be able to sample most items before purchase, and I hope this remains the same after COVID. Note, you do ideally need to keep their NAMA chocolate series refrigerated (or plan to eat them quickly..). I will be back for more ROYCE chocolates! read more
