I absolutely CRAVE their peanut crunch candies! I think I can almost taste it and feel that easy crunch on my teeth right now. Oh dear! Does this mean I need to get in my car right now and drive back over there? Honestly, who can resist not buying a box of See's? Ohhh...once you enter the door, you are completely knocked over by that gorgeous, chocolate, fragrance, that envelops the whole room. It's intoxicating! My review is for Story at this location who was so friendly, kind & patient with me while selecting my chocolates & candies/lollipops a few days ago. I stopped by around 15 minutes before store closing & she gladly assisted me with my purchase & questions, & I especially appreciate I was able to choose the white chocolate mint truffle as my sample. As I was checking out, she also mentioned See's has Lollypalooza coming up in the summer when they offer many seasonal lollipops, including mint cream, (one of my favorites), which I'll definitely be stopping by for (I mentioned that I'm pregnant & have been craving mint). Something about not having to enter a mall to shop is less stressful. So it was nice to be able to go to this location, park and walk right into the store. The store is a pretty good size, clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very lucky to go in on a quiet day, so in and out it was for me. Parking can be a little tight and fill up quickly since it is a shared parking area. Another plus about this location is that it is near the freeway for those coming off the freeway I found out if you let them know you have nut allergies they will substitute a different candy of the day. I was there this weekend. It was very unpleasant because there was a woman and her husband that weren't abiding by the face mask rule. An older lady asked her to put her face mask on and she yelled back at her to live her life and that she'll live Jets. No one in the See's store told her anything. And it was a perfect time as the Easter candy was being discounted which meant I was able to nab a couple dark chocolate peanut butter Easter eggs at 50% off! Woo hooo! We also got our usual personal bags of our own candies; deep dark chocolate truffle for me!! Jami was helping us out and was super nice and helpful, especially when an older customer kept crowding us despite being told both sides of the candy counter had the same selections. I don't come here often, but I stopped by two weeks ago and was just blown away by the service! Every single employee was SO friendly and super helpful in helping us look for what we needed. They let us sample whatever we wanted, and we had no issues using the Costco certificates that we purchased. For those complaining about the wait -- it's like that everywhere around this time. Plenty of sweets at this location but not a lot of common sense. When a customer orders multiple one pound boxes of customized candy mixes as gifts it might be a good idea for the person packing and wrapping the boxes to label each box with an identifier so the customer doesn't have to destroy the gift wrap to figure out which box is which. Manager's excuse and solution: "We have new staff who aren't sure what they're doing. Why don't you (spend another hour+ and) drive back and forth to our store and we'll re-wrap it for you." Sure. I'll get right on that. Anything to make things more convenient for you. How about this? Why don't you give me a discount on my next order of See's?
