Brought my wedding ring in for reinforcement of all the prongs. Also brought in a ring at the same time to add the charm back on and size. Picked up my items a few days later. Three days after I get my wedding ring worked on a diamond falls out. Call jeweler - bring it in, we will fix it oh so sorry. I bring it in and it's fixed a few days later- I pick it up. The other ring I originally brought in first a charm add and size breaks. Seriously!!! I took it back and they fixed it. Seriously crappy repair work. I can't believe both pieces had to be returned for fixing. I feel scammed and like the total payment be returned. I'd rate a zero if I could. read more

Same family but nothing alike. I suppose I'm spoiled but the Segners in Lakeway unlike Fredericksburg is subpar at best. They shamefully overcharge, and front desk staff couldn't care less. I think I will just drive to Fredericksburg where they don't overcharge and always do superior work. The one in Lakeway doesn't even try. read more

I just can't say enough about Segner's Jewelers. I've lived in Bee Cave over 10 years and never knew about this little "gem." I love supporting local small businesses and this one is really special. They are so friendly and personable no matter what you need getting fixed. They also carry beautiful jewelry. I took an old, intricate, multi pearl bracelet with gold brackets that my mother was gifting to my daughter to wear on her wedding day for her "something old." It was too big for her wrist and needed a half inch of pearls removed, which meant restringing the entire bracelet. Susan was able to fix it at a very reasonable price and it looks like new. After getting my hand caught in a door swinging shut where my engagement ring (30 year old) took the brunt of the hit, I notice quickly the damage to the band. My engagement ring consists of a diamond that is my husband's grandmother's and great grandmother's diamonds and one purchased for me. My mother (in law) passed away 2 years ago I inherited a pin with 4 tiny diamonds and we decided to have the wrong repaired and add the tiny diamonds. We chose Segner's based on their outstanding reviews. When I brought it in and explained what happened he very quickly identified that one of the diamonds was chipped pretty significantly, and was able to help us identify that it was my husband's grandmothers diamond. I burst into tears as I of course, was devastated. There really was no saving the diamond. He was very very kind. We decided to take the budget. We intended to spend on the ring repair and apply it towards a suite anniversary band with diamonds. They have such beautiful jewelry there, that it was difficult to find some thing in our budget, but he was able to find several pieces that were in our budget after a small discount. With this help, we also decided to remove the two diamonds in the compromised setting I will give one to my daughter and one to my son. He was so very nice and very sweet to think through this with us to have a positive outcome. I appreciate them so much and they will be our jewelry store going forward. read more

My husband and I went to Segners to have his wedding ring resized. We had been in a few times with other things. The people are so friendly and helpful! They had to put more gold in it to size it. Had had batteries replaced in two watches. One watch still wasn't working a week later, so took it back. They gladly replaced the battery but determined that my watch wasn't working. They tried to fix the watch by spraying something on it at no charge, but it still didn't work. They could try to repair it, but the cost would have been 3 times the cost of the watch, so I accepted that the watch died. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a refund for the battery that they had put in it the week before. I also asked them about the other watch they had replaced the battery in. The clasp kept coming loose and the watch kept falling off (not their fault). They made a minor adjustment, and it hasn't come loose since they fixed it three days ago and at no charge. Friendly people, excellent service, nice shop. I'll definitely return to Segner's! read more
