The chain of the necklace ended up breaking two times over the next six months and I had an upcoming trip that I wanted to wear my necklace to. I took it to Q & T to see they would be able to fix it. They informed me the chain was hollow and would continue to break and would not be able to be repaired. They recommend a replacement and I decided to purchase it. I almost paid a third of what I paid at the beginning to fix it for the second time and after the second time of getting it back, the piece doesn't look the same, and it doesn't feel the same and for some reason it got smaller than Originally so now I am left with a chain that got fixed twice, but for some reason it's different from the original linked even though nothing new got requested on the second fixing for some reason now the chain is much smaller and shorter, even though I never said to do anything more than just to fix what was broken Very disappointing. I'm not sure what's gonna happen now too the piece that I bought so now I have to make a decision to sell it or to keep it no, I'm not taking it back for the third time to fix it because I'm not sure if it will get fixed the right way. Recently brought in my Movado Watch for a new battery. 2 years ago this store replaced the battery for me. The man in back started yelling at the counter girl because I did not want the "waterproofing" package, just a new battery. She came back to me very upset and again asked me about the waterproofing package and when I said NO, just a battery please she handed me my watch and said he could not open it to replace the battery. Hmmmm, 2 years ago he DID open and indeed replace the battery (the previous battery lasted 10 years). He would not replace battery because I did not want to pay for the waterproofing, an UPSELL. I brought in a bracelet that was too short for my wrist, but Q&T was able to add some soldered rings to extend it, and now it's the perfect length I wanted. They did it within a few hours and I was able to pick up my bracelet on the same day I sent it in. I went in wanting to get a chain attached to a piece of rock in the shape of a thunderbird. I had it for a while and drilled the hole myself. OMG...They took a rough sketch of an engagement ring design and crafted it into perfection! The ring came out so much more gorgeous than we ever anticipated. They even designed the wedding bands to fit the engagement ring perfectly. I have gone there multiple times for small items such as resetting a stone and fixing a watch but this was the first major time. They used some of my old stones and my husbands stones and matched them perfectly with new stones creating a one of a kind piece of art. Still can't be let down by these folks! Michael waited last minute to get his wedding ring...the day before...c'mon Honey. I sent him to Q&T knowing that they would get him the ring he wanted and on time (hopefuly). He found a ring but it had to be ordered in his size since it's titanium. The next day, three hours before the ceremony, the ring arrived and I stopped freaking out. I would also like to add that anytime I walk in, they know my name, ask me if I can bring my little red-headed baby girl in so they can play with her, and always clean my rings for free. I also got a ring appraisal done there and it was the cheapest you will find in town. They charged $75 rather than the typical $200. So, men who are interested in popping that BIG question and need help ring shopping...look no further. I think you will be completely satisfied. read more
