The front desk quite the opposite, after yesterdays encounter and today's I have decided to leave. They called me 6 days ago to remind me of my appointment, great, appreciate that, but then they go "did you get blood work done?",I haven't seen her in months due to the covid. So how can i go get blood work, and then they tell me only labcorp is doing blood work, i look at 5 different locations, none had any times for me to get my blood done, before my appointment. Receptionist basically said it is my fault?! She goes would you like to reschedule? um yeah, why would i go just to say hi. I then ask at this point i still prefer doing Webex, said "cant happen" because "I" am cancelling the appointment. I just hung up, can't deal with stupidity. Called again today to make sure they cancelled the appointment. Asked to send blood work (i knew that wasn't going to happen) The doctors seem great, front desk is quite horrible and lynhdurst office, is 10xs worse with their receptionists. Ask questions and get "uh i have to talk to people groan before the response" Also if you need your documents for any other reason besides them, expect a song and dance, cause you're not getting it

I am not sure if IZ medical is listed as an urgent care facility, but if I am ever sick and need a doctor on a dime, I will absolutely give this office a call. Let me tell you about how I ended up at IZ Medical. On Monday, I went to a different facility (one that I had been going to for a few years), complaining of signs of an ear infection. I was told there was nothing wrong with me, and was sent home with a COVID PCR test. Well, I woke up in the middle of the night with a 102 fever...of course, these days, a sudden fever makes you think it's COVID. I spent all of Tuesday morning looking for area doctors and offices that would give a rapid COVID test AND would take my insurance...many places in the Hudson County area (where I am from) were either booked for a week out (what's the point of a rapid COVID test then?) or they were charging anywhere from $100 to $150 dollars. A friend of mine suggested IZ Medical, as their family members had signs of COVID and they also took the rapid test here. When I called up and explained my situation, the lovely woman on the phone said, "How fast can you get here?" They had booked me within an hour, and I was able to get a rapid COVID test. But that's not all. When the test came back negative, and I explained to Dr. Baker that I was experiencing sudden fever symptoms, he immediately tested me for the flu and examined me, asking me questions and listening to my story about my onset of symptoms. I liked that Dr. Baker didn't stop at "the test is negative." Dr. Baker also had a PA-in-training with him, and he was explaining the what-where-why regarding my symptoms and issues. Dr. Baker discovered that I had a ball of wax in my ear that had sealed my ear canal shut, plus my whole sinus area was irritated / inflamed. He gave me some medicine to treat it, and told me to return if the ball of wax did not fall out with treatment. All in all, I can't thank Dr. Baker enough for seeing me on such short notice. In addition, the rest of the staff here is extremely attentive and the office is absolutely gorgeous. I will keep this place in mind, if I ever need to see a doctor for things like colds or illnesses.

Perhaps some offices are better than others under the network but the office in Clifton Ave, Clifton, NJ. stands apart from the others when it comes to service. One of the most important points to make is to exalt the great welcoming to the facility by Isis Peralta after the registration process, always smiling, kind and treating you with respect. I really appreciate all the efforts that Isis makes to help me with my problem on gathering the information about my visit, I was pleasantly surprised but thankful to know that they are people who still care about how I feel and the reason for my visit. Best doctor visit ever. Great work! The doctors are good even though you can't always see the same doctor (that really bothers me) but the next doctor I saw had good skills and it seems well prepared and knowledgeable about medicine so that make up for it. I had a cough for several days and I thought it was allergies until I started hearing crackling and…read morerattling sounds when I layed down. I went to AFC urgent care in lyndhurst.  What a waste of money! I wish I could get a refund for my $75 copay.  I clearly discussed my symptoms with the doctor.  I had a cough, fever, aches in my thighs, and I explained the crackling sounds when I lay down. I also told her that 10+ years ago I had bronchitis and another time I had a pneumonia.  Using the stethoscope she reassured me that my lungs were clear. (No xray) She said I had allergies and prescribed an allergy medication. After that visit I did not feel any better. In fact I felt worse. Two days later I went to my primary physician and he immediately heard the rattling sounds in my lungs and detected a pneumonia and sent me for Xrays. I got my results and my primary physician was right. He prescribed antibiotics, prednisone, and a cough medicine. Misdiagnosing a patient is unacceptable. I am not happy with AFC. I want a refund!

He takes the time necessary to understand what is going on with your health, is patient and detail-oriented, and wants to ensure that he collects all of the necessary information to make the most informed diagnosis and care. Needless to say, after various tests, he made a diagnosis, then made a referral to a specialist for me who seconded it. He was dead on accurate! Again, he determined my issue at an initial appointment while various doctors and hospitals could not do so. I am now on a care regimen and my issues are being managed. When I need something or have a question, he takes the time to see me or speak to me on the phone. His office staff are lovely, kind, compassionate, and helpful, whether it is to schedule an appointment, to follow up, or call with a question. I could not be happier with Doctor B, and will go nowhere else for my medical care. I can't recommend him enough.
