Had breakfast here the other day and we enjoyed it. The menu was simple and vegetarian friendly. Ambience was chill and the dining area was pretty spacious. Our food came out quick. I went here a few weeks ago with a coworker; I'd suggested it thinking that it was another establishment in the same strip mall that the same coworker had taken me to (whoops). However, this was a happy mix-up because I wasn't too enthused about the place that I was thinking this place was. Breakfast and lunch sandwich bagels are on the menu along with a full scale coffee situation and fresh juices (really real OJ? Yes, please). Service is quick and friendly, and they'll answer any questions you have with a smile. They do have a few tables outside on the sidewalk, and since this is in an older building with a large parking lot, it's set back from the street quite a bit so the ambience is actually nicer than you'd expect considering it's in a strip mall. read more

One of the best bagel places I have ever been to in my life. My best friend took me here and told me I would enjoy it and I loved it. Very clean and helpful staff. I asked the lady which was her favorite and it was the Egg Supreme and I got it on a Sherry's Harvest. I loved I could see all the ingredients on my bagel as oppose to other bagels out there in the world. Very nutritious and fulfilling especially since I had to fly back home within a few hours. Will not be returning to this location EVER again. Today 10/21/24 at 10am, NOT one person acknowledged my presence. Looked past me to help the older gentleman who came in after me. Not once was anything said to me. But spoke to everyone after me. But was willing to help the white man behind me. Very obvious that there is an ISSUE with people of color here at this establishment. We've been to this place twice and both times they've messed up our orders! First time, we ordered a few items, got home and was missing a bagel. Not that big of a deal, so we called them and they said they'd replace it. Cool... Decided to go back another time and we ordered 2 items. I ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Eggel toasted on whole wheat, but it was wrong and made with an untoasted Cinnamon Raisin bagel. Not toasted and not even the right bagel. 2 strikes... 1 time messing up order - I'll give them some leeway. 2 times screwing up order - we won't be back. All the employees were sweet. Our door dash order was made incorrectly and delivered to us with just bagels and cream cheese and when I called them to ask if we made a mistake on the door dash app when ordering, he looked at the order and realized they were done incorrectly. He asked if they could make that right and remake them? We said Absolutely! since this was our lunch. He was so wonderful and communicative to work with. I was so excited to have a Lox Bagel for brunch and ended up EXTREMELY disappointed... I tried to order online for 20min but the buttons were not working. After calling twice I was able to place my order. I asked for my two Super Nova bagels to be toasted and looks like the just pop them in the microwave.. bagel was not toasted.. the veggies were cut way to thick making them fall right off the bagel. I don't think the staff have good training or food experience. The blended drink I had was full of ice chunks and the straw was cracking after 3 sips... couldn't drink my coffee... if I'm gonna pay $40 for 2 bagels and a coffee.... I'd like to actually be able to consume my food please... pay an extra 10 cents for your straws please. Regret tipping them anything at all- will not be returning here. Visited here on a return trip from Oregon back home to Washington. They were open exactly when we would be in the area (7 am on a Sunday) and I am so thankful for that! They make their bagels in house, have great customer service, and serve and assortment of beverages that might rival some of the places I go to in the city. This location is the only one I have visited as part of the chain, but love the hometown atmosphere and clever names. We ordered one bagel sandwich (american eggle) and a pesto bagel with veggie cream cheese. Very generous portions of cream cheese (huge plus) and they toast the bagels for you. I just moved to Vancouver so this was one of my first stops. Ordered online because I know how busy bagel shops can get on a Sunday. It was ready when I got there (about 15 minutes) but one bagel was missing cream cheese. Mistakes happen, so I just approached the counter and asked for a side of cream cheese and was on my way. They packed the savory bagels separate from the sweet bagels (THANK YOU!!!). All the bagels smell soooo good. My boyfriend had two bagels right from the jump (two of the cheese joints; probably the Cheddar Cheddar and Wild Cheddar). I just had the Bacon Chive Cheddar; one half with Basil Pesto schmear and the other half with Tomato Herb schmear... ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL. Bagels are always fresh and with a large variety I love that they open early and for the same cost as a McDonald's Breakfast meal I can get a nicely toasted everything bagel with salmon mousse. Seize the Bagel's fare is different than others. Theirs are not the dense, malty, heavy NY-style bagels, nor are they the "round bread" that all of the other chains seem to specialize in. They are somewhere in between. They are lighter and fluffier than their NY counterparts, but still have a very crisp outer shell. They're far better than those of the big chains, but not as good as I've had elsewhere. I appreciate that they seem to follow a "soft close" time. On my first visit, it was actually about 15 minutes after closing time, but they "open" sign was still lit. I was expecting to hear a shouted, "We're closed" when I entered, but was instead greeted with a big bright smile and a very welcoming, "How can I help you?" That was really nice. Stop in if you're in the neighborhood, it is definitely worth a visit. read more

I've been a customer of STB for several years and was very disappointed my last visit. We decided to use the on-line option to save time and exposure at the store. Bad choice. We saw several customers come in and order, receive their order, before ours was ready. We only ordered four sandwiches.
