Not only was that bait and switch (only if they can clean the drain from the cleanout only, which is unlikely with a shower), that plumber came out, told me they could've done the job cheaper, and then failed to be able to fix the clog. There was a delay in him getting there because another job took longer than he anticipated but they kept me updated and asked if it was still okay for him to come at the next two hour service window. I appreciated that because it was respectful of my time. Of course it was fine. Darren arrived, assessed the situation, and gave me three options. I opted to replace the tank and bring it up to code but held off on the tankless option. He came prepared with a high quality heater in the truck with everything he needed so he did the work right then and about two hours later he was done and we had hot water again. I don't leave reviews and not that they need yet another 5-star review to add to their almost 1K perfect reviews, but they said they'd still appreciate one so I gladly leave this review. George and John are two very sharp and highly knowledgeable plumbers. From the initial call/text correspondence through work completion, they were very informative, personable, highly skilled, and extremely efficient plumbers. Never could I have imagined plumbing repair work could be such an easy and pleasant experience. I initially thought I was going with another plumber due to earlier availability but once I was quoted double by the plumber (also a family-run business with high Yelp ratings) who hadn't even attempted to see inside the shower part, I immediately reached back out to Rishon. Not once did I feel uncomfortable as is often the case with service providers who try to upsell and take advantage. To provide context, I was fully informed of the potential extent of repairs needed to resolve a leaking shower (old house with old fixtures), which could entail an entire valve replacement (requiring breaking of drywall) if a simpler cartridge replacement would not be possible due to calcification, and that this could only be confirmed upon physical inspection. However, to my utter surprise and delight, they were able to fix the leak without even having to replace the cartridge! They're incredible -- they inspected, took parts out, further inspected, maneuvered, blew, etc. and it was fixed. I was just taken aback by their honesty in letting me know this and their integrity to not even charge for this. Now the cartridge will likely need to be replaced at some point and they did let me know it's a part they've not come across but they're looking for it. They will be the ones to replace it when the times comes -- along with any other plumbing job in the future. They've got a new lifetime customer. They also did another job of flushing the water heater, which I understand is a must for regular maintenance. Straightforward, fast, and they come prepared with everything -- highly recommend to extend the life not only of your water heater but also your pipes and fixtures as well as to prevent leaks. Call Rishon Plumbing. Guarantee you will not waste time or money calling around for quotes or using less qualified plumbers. So overjoyed I now have a plumber to call for maintenance or issues. Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen.
