I had told Amanda that I usually have to ask for my bangs to be shorter and for them to be at my level because usually my hair stylist that I've been to does not cut them short enough. About halfway in to the service, I noticed my bangs were getting shorter and shorter, and turning more into a fringe that a curtain bang I had brought brought this up during the service and she had told me that when it dries it will look different at the end of the service I had brought up that it still look like a fringe and not curtain bangs that met my eye level. She had told me that she had noticed that my bangs were already short so she cut them shorter, and I did not know that my bangs were short because my hair had been growing out for the last three months. She then apologized and said that she should've addressed it to me that she had noticed my bangs were short that she should not have cut them anymore. I am surely disappointed in the lack of communication and the styling of my bangs. My hair now looks choppy and butchered, and I still had to pay full price. I do not recommend.

I had to interrupt her & initiate the conversation about what style I wanted & specify how much length I wanted cut. In the end, it didn't really matter because she didn't incorporate anything I asked for. I asked for long layers which I didn't get. I also asked that she cut 2-3 inches & she took off twice of that. Once I got home & acclimated to my new haircut that's much shorter than I wanted, the style eventually *grew* on me. It's not a bad haircut, it's cute but not what I communicated. Language barrier could've been a factor here but I showed her a picture to bypass that. Would I come back? Probably but I'll be sure to ask for a different hairstylist.

I came in with healthy hair and the day I washed my hair after the service, entire strands of my hair broke off. Her services caused my hair to become dry, brittle and damaged beyond any ability to salvage it. That very day I told Jennifer, the owner of this salon that this week marked one of the most important of my professional career and I wanted to make sure to look my best. To say that Jennifer a self proclaimed "expert" destroyed the integrity of my hair single handed is understating the fact. When I reached out to her after seeing other stylists who unanimously agreed that my hair was damaged beyond redemption. I reached out to her for a refund. Instead she retorted with " you must come to the salon so that I can see your hair and decide if I will give you a refund". I sent photographs which clearly show the extent of damage her services wrought on my hair. Although everyone asked me what happened to my hair. She in turn claimed to not be able to see the damage although you would have to be blind to miss it. At this point the services that amounted to $345.00 . A payment made for her expertise that turned into my worst hair nightmare. She continued to insist she had to access my hair. Without doubt if someone harms you do not return to them ever. She still brazenly refuses to issue me a refund which I think shows her lack of integrity and carelessness with the lives she affects. At the very least a refund is the correct thing to do. Jennifer is by far the worst stylist I have ever encountered in my life. If you value your hair do not go to this salon. Run for the hills and do not get any service performed at this Salon or you will regret it as much as I do.

The reviews were all really good and it was not far down the street from where I lived. It was 7PM when I called and figured it would go to voicemail...but to my surprise a very nice, and helpful guy answered. Not going to lie, felt a little bit gimmicky at first (almost felt like a timeshare sales phone call), but he really wanted to make sure I knew about their product and process. The call took about 10 minutes, but I felt good about what I was buying into (you pay upfront for your appointment). I showed up on my appointment day right on the dot. The salon was quaint and clean and Sepehe was there greeting me as I walked in. She told me the process and the additional cost (my hair is really long) and she got to work. It didn't take quite as long as I thought it would and I was pleasantly surprised with the overall price for what I got. It's only been 2 days, so things are still new - but I will do an update in a week to let everyone know how this is holding up. Overall - if you're not squeamish about the cost ($400+ for long hair) then you won't regret it. Worth the cost and the time.
