My interest was greatly piqued in seeing a show here because it's a thrust stage experience, which is rare in our area. As a community theatre director myself I wanted to see their space and how they staged the show. I want to begin doing something similar. This organization has been around nearly a century and they have a beautifully renovated space in an old train depot. They also clearly have an army of volunteers who make these shows happen. We had front row seats, putting us face-to-face with the actors, which I loved. The performance was well staged and well acted. It was a great night of both entertainment and research.

It was especially convenient to have Catering, DJ, and media all wrapped into one venue. Nick (Bright Box event coordinator) and the rest of the Bright Box staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful during our day. Nick worked very well with our Day of Coordinator to ensure all needs provided by the Bright Box were met promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed the Bright Box for our wedding. Having both the downstairs for our ceremony and dance floor coupled with the upstairs for cocktail hour, pictures, and a quite talking place away from the music made our day complete and provided great flexibility for our guests. We also enjoyed the outside sitting area with our guests on an amazing weather day. Thank you Nick & Bright Box for an amazing day, we're looking forward to checking out a show for our anniversary!

The Barns of Rose Hill is a pretty unique venue, and absolutely beautiful! The non-profit that runs…read morethe place did a fantastic job of renovating the historic barn. Parking is in front of the government center building, and then you walk around to the back of the building and down the slight hill into the lower level of the barn. The first floor is an entryway and an art gallery, while the main floor upstairs is the general event space. We were there for a concert, so we didn't really look at the arts section, but headed straight upstairs. The main event space is beautiful; they left in the original vaulted wooden ceiling and beams, and the walls looked original as well. That said, they did a fantastic job refurbishing it so it felt classic without being run down. As a music space it worked pretty well; the stage up front didn't take up too much space, and the sound was solid. This would also make an awesome place for a wedding reception, or pretty much any party too big for your own house. Overall the Barns of Rose Hill is a great place; I would happily go back for another show, and if we'd known about it before our wedding this would have been very high on our list of options!

Liz our guide greeted us and collected the $10 fee per person. It's not a big house but it is frozen in time when Patsy was there. Lots of pictures and artifacts from her life. Loved the salt & pepper shakers collection. The upstairs is a single bedroom and they only had half bath. A cute gift shop in the kitchen area. A must visit for any fan of Patsy Cline. Down the block is a new amphitheater/park that is going to be dedicated to her. Her burial site is 3 miles down the road.

Tara's super easy teaching methods taught me more in a one hour lesson then I've ever been able to accomplish by myself or at other dance studios.
