The produce looked great. The cashier was friendly. It's worth a visit if you are seeking out specialty Asian or Hispanic foods you can't find at a chain grocery store.

Purchased four boxes of knishes. I realize now that they had probably been in stock before Passover. I prepared the 16 knishes according to instructions on the box. They were dry & stale . No one could eat them. Tossed them all . Also purchased lamb chops for 13 people. There was so much fat on them it took me three hours to trim them. One guest complained that one of the lamb chops he had tasted rancid. Also bought an iced chocolate cake to put birthday candles on. When I prepared to slice the cake I found that the icing covered paper wrapped around the round cake. The cake was stale even though the icing was fresh. So much for Moti's!

Owner is a nice guy and always very helpful and chatty with his customers. Today I came in and saw fresh mango with chili available, so I picked up some. There was also papaya salad in the fridge, so I grabbed one of those too! The sliced mango with chili was $5.50 and the papaya salad was $7.95 and both were excellent! I also picked up some incense sticks, vermicelli, some Asian drinks including pennywort and Mr Brown coffee, preserved plums, and soy sauce. I was disappointed that no buffet style food was available and I guess they may not serve it on Sundays but hoping to try some next time I am back. I love this place as they have so many ready items and most have been very good! Give this place a try, you might just like it as much as I do!

If you aren't familiar already, you probably won't know what you're looking at, LOL You can be adventurous and find out though. I recommend spicy potato chips and fried dried beef available in to-go containers out front. The rest, find out at your own risk. There usually is a Saturday breakfast and lunch being served here if you want to try local Burmese cuisine and some free milk tea. Saturday evenings, there's a bigger food hall open in the adjacent basement area serving more Burmese food - rice and curries, monthingar noodles, coconut noodles, desserts, tea, etc. You pay using Zelle to the merchants. The food will take you quite close to Myanmar if you want to give that a go. Questions, just ask anyone in there, and you should be good.
