a variety of dishes of food

It appears this Korean supermarket has gotten neglected -- it's also more Hispanic than Korean now, with Mexican music in the background, customer service desk signage in English/Spanish (no Korean), and 2 of the 3 food court stalls is Mexican. The produce selection is poor - they didn't even have strawberries during high season. Produce didn't look good either. We used to like this place over the nearby H Mart - not anymore. Still we ordered from the one Korean food court stall -- just one lady working there to make the 5 dishes we ordered. The fried foods were very good -- chicken wings, pork cutlet. The others were just ok. JJAMPONG - $9.95 Broth tasted like from one of those instant noodle packages - not rich creamy tasting :( They used udon noodles too. Seafood was squid, mussel, shrimp. DOLSOT BIBIMBOP - $8.95 Tasted better after adding the spicy red sauce & sesame oil. You may have to ask the lady for the sesame oil. FRIED SEAFOOD NOODLE - $10.95 Didn't look at all like the photo displayed on the menu board. Dish had udon noodles, tiny shrimp, jumbo shrimp (good) and squid (tasted old). WINGS AND KRINKLE FRIES - $8.95 6 chicken wings -- tried one and it was very good. PORK CUTLET - $9.95 Also tried a bite of the donkas -- very good. Again if you do eat here, go for the fried foods. Looking at the search results, it also looks like there's a new Lotte in Rockville which opened Oct 2016 - you might go there instead if you're looking for Korean food: https://www.yelp.com/biz/lotte-plaza-rockville

Too crowded, only 3 registers open long lines and customer service horrible. I don't know how people accept that type of treatment. This is North America not Korea to treat employees as slaves and customers as if they are given food for free. Shame on them. They advertise 3 options if you spent x amount of money then you get what they want... as Hispanic recommend for us to take our business to North American groceries stores and Hispanic groceries too.... we spent a lot of money and deserved better treatment.

My favorite aisle - well, here, they have two separate aisles of various snacks

Notable notes: **** There's a Rita's (Italian ice/frozen custard) in the shopping center Note: Seasonal hours - MMM,Gelati *** Food court - Korean good food fast Note: Accepts Visa - they walk to the register lines to process *** Cooked/packaged kimchi pancakes - if none found anywhere else *** Mochi ice cream - another convenient location *** Snack aisles - I'm a snackist ** Mochi - not much available but good to know they're here Mental mayhem: * As the Yelp nymph, Tina R., would say..... The parking lots (front and rear) are -RETAHDED- * What's up with the front entrance? For those, who know what I mean, for serious - explain me. So many options... so many Koreans... lol I guess they were all coming from church. Tried a little bit of everything from each of the little restaurants in Lotte. Had eel sushi from the korean/japanese place, some kind of chicken that was fried with a sweet sauce from the korean/chinese place, and galbi from the korean/korean place. So much variety! tried some appetizers from the grocery store too, and a smoothie that was horrible and tasted artificial...

It's a small store with some interesting and some unusual products. There are shelves on the left side wall and the store is divided in the middle with shelves displaying various items. The two things that stood out to me most were the dishes and serving pieces, plus the variety of spices. The dinner ware, tureens, and coffee sets were decorated in colorful but tasteful patterns. Just past the coffee sets were some everyday items like paper towels and Cling wrap. There was a small refrigerator case in the back but I didn't really pay attention to what it contained. What was amazing to me was the variety of spices. Most were in plastic containers with labels and hand-written names of the contents. I really did not recognize a number of the spices. We asked for coriander and were told they did'n't have it but the clerk suggested that two other spices used together would make a good substitute. We bought those plus flax seeds, raw chick peas to make falafel and coffee beans which turned out to be unroasted (pretty obvious but didn't think about it until we got home). We looked up how to toast coffee beans and it was actually pretty easy and Rich said it's the some of the best coffee he's ever had. Only downside to roasting it was the smokiness but that's a lesson learned to be prepared for next time. The store smelled wonderful and when I mentioned it to the clerk she said she had just eaten lunch. They should pipe that small into the store every day. We will definitely go back for more chick peas and coffee, plus it's a good excuse to stop by Azucar for lunch!

Moti's Market specializes in Kosher foods for Jewish holidays and for observant Jewish customers…read more They have a wide variety of products for the Passover holiday. The store is packed to the fullest and you can find items covering the aisles and tucked in corners. I was looking for Gluten Free items which are hard to come by in a regular box store. Moti's Market had quite a variety. Gluten Free products are quite expensive and hard to find. I wanted to be able to pick up and look at the products, before buying them. I was able to find Gluten Free cookies, matzah ball mix, matzah, onion soup, and gefilte fish. There is ample parking, but checking out can be a challenge. There are only a few lines and on the day I went, they were snaking through the store, almost from front to back. That being said, cashiers were nice, as well as people who helped me find certain items. The line moved fairly quickly. I would highly recommend this store to people who are Gluten intolerant and observing Jewish holidays. Their deli department and meat department are top notch. Thank you Moti's Market for helping to make our Passover Seder healthy for everyone attending.

Purchased four boxes of knishes. I realize now that they had probably been in stock before Passover. I prepared the 16 knishes according to instructions on the box. They were dry & stale . No one could eat them. Tossed them all . Also purchased lamb chops for 13 people. There was so much fat on them it took me three hours to trim them. One guest complained that one of the lamb chops he had tasted rancid. Also bought an iced chocolate cake to put birthday candles on. When I prepared to slice the cake I found that the icing covered paper wrapped around the round cake. The cake was stale even though the icing was fresh. So much for Moti's!
