From the moment we started shopping for a dishwasher, Conner went completely above and beyond to make sure we saw every available option. I bought a used Maytag washer and dryer set here for $450. The appliances looked fine and came with…read morea 30-day warranty. They even swapped the dryer cord for the correct type before loading them up. When I got home, the washer worked great--but the dryer tripped the breaker as soon as I plugged it in, even without turning it on. I called the store, and they told me to bring it back, claiming everything is tested before sale. That would've meant renting or borrowing another truck and hauling it down from a 4th-floor apartment with no elevator. The guy I spoke to (the big guy) was rude and dismissive. Instead of dealing with that hassle again, I opened it up myself and found they wired the dryer cord incorrectly--putting the neutral wire to ground. Once I fixed the wiring, the dryer worked perfectly. Even after explaining what happened, there was no apology or accountability--just more attitude. Bottom line: the appliances you buy here might be faulty and not work, and the customer service is terrible. If you decide to shop here, insist that they test everything in front of you before you leave. Also, it's a cash-only business, so keep that in mind--and don't expect any real help or refunds if something goes wrong.

Since my father is a regular they gave us a discount. So I paid less than $400 with tax for the set. It had some paint chipping and dents. But it works. And the younger gentleman even helped load it into my SUV. I agree with some of the bad reviews about the older gent. He was kind of rude. But hey, you're spending less than $200 a piece for a used washer & dryer. Located in a very seedy area. You get what you pay for. You want non-dented appliances & commission-based customer service. I sent a message inquiring if they could send pictures of their electric rangers they have for sale with pricing, warranty on the two items I needed. I received a prompt reply. I honestly thought I wouldn't get a reply until Monday. The only questions not answered when asked is if they offered delivery and if they do what was that cost. The second question I asked was if they offer haul away ? if so the cost of that. A young lady assisted me in the store. I didn't ask for her name until I had paid for my appliances. One of my receipts was signed by her but her signature for me was illegible. When she said her name it was pretty. I repeated it but failed to ask for the spelling (rats). I am going to say its Eliana she was helpful and knowledgeable to answer any questions I had . I received a business card for the store if I had questions after leaving the store. She asked when I would like to like to have delivery. I responded for tomorrow between 11am-1pm if the Lord spares. They offer same day delivery but I opted for next day . I recommend this small family owned business for your appliance needs. The store was three blocks from the first home I purchased in 2012. Tuesday is here and I am getting excited about the delivery which should take place between 11am-1pm. Jose the delivery driver called my mobile at 11:50am . I answered he advised he should be arriving in approximately 30 minutes. Jose arrived safely 13 minutes passed his estimated time. I was informed by Eliza the day before when I was in the store that the delivery driver speaks broken English when I asked. While Jose was getting my non working Frigidaire stove ready to be removed out of my kitchen another man entered my home. Jose said the man's name which I do not remember. He had a wide smile. I asked him if he spoke English he replied espanol. Jose & I had difficulty eventually. Thank goodness he had a translator app on his phone. The question he asked me was if my old range was to be placed in my garage or taken away. I replied take it away which they did. They brought in the new stove that was wrapped in plastic. It was placed in the same spot that my Frigidaire was removed from . They gathered the plastic wrap and took with them . Jose said good bye as he and his partner were returning to their work truck . I stopped them in their tracks . I asked what about the over the range microwave. Jose said they were not obligated to install the microwave. I told him to call Eliza at the store then I spoke with her. These two men were only responsible for delivering the range with installation. Eliza now had the task of finding someone to come to my home to install the over the range microwave. She called me back and the delivery arrangements were made . That is scheduled if nothing happens to take place on Saturday between 12pm-1pm and that is the end of my story. P.S. I wasn't aware until the stove was delivered its an induction stove . I have to purchase cookware exclusively used on an induction stove

I called so many times requesting a call back from him. He ignored and after 4 days he called back and yelled at me that he was busy. He told me that he has no records nor remember my fridge models and that he has many jobs to do... very irresponsible guy. Charged $85 for service call and got nothing done for us. Two weeks ago I made a mistake, ordering a part from a competitor, Midwest Appliance Parts. They claimed to stock the part, and it was $15 for a part that would have been $20 at Appliance Parts Depot. But the order from Midwest took four days to fulfill, then they used the slowest shipment method imaginable. A one ounce Dacor oven part in a 4x5 inch padded envelope was ordered on 11-28, and sent by "UPS Mail Innovations". This took much longer than just putting it in the mail, in which case I would have had it in Denver in TWO DAYS. But nooo, they first sat on the order until 12-1, it was not dropped off with UPS for two more days, and then took until 12/9 to arrive. I did not expect to have to use express shipping to get the part within a week, but their use of UPS in this manner required me to make the appliance operable by other means temporarily, then do the job a second time properly when the part came. Two hours of my time wasted so they could make a few more cents on the lowest cost shipping method available. If I had ordered this part from APD on the same date (11/28), I would had had it using regular shipping by 12-2 or 12-3. I will NEVER order from Midwest Appliance again. When I order from Appliance Parts Depot, they help me confirm what I need, they ship the part immediately, and I get the job done. They are the real pros.
