It wasn't the best experience but it was almost a little too much. I ended up coming here because my normal place wasn't open and I didnt want to wait... 1.everyone was trying to upsale and force everyone that came in to get a pedicure the Deluxe pedicure was $35 which i was okay with and is reasonable for all that it Involves. 2.I asked for white toes white POWDER she was trying to force me to get dipped well not force she did 2 nails and when I stopped to say i want power she was going back and forward with me and told me she was going to do dip and if i didnt like she would give me credit. I just wasn't going for that bullshit so finally she gave me what I asked for. 3. It was $80 now idk how but $35 for the powder and $35 pedicure= $70... and on top of that she didnt even tell me the price I had to ask she was just going to swipe my card. Hannah always does a great job with my dipped nails. Over a hundred different colors to choose from, and if you're not happy with one she is very creative & can customize one just for you! Love that she is careful not to over file my natural nail bed before applying dip or when removing old dip. They always offered a cold bottle of water. Her mom does excellent pedicures. Select nails is not the cheapest shop around, but I can always count on a quality manicure/pedicure. read more

On a whim decided to stop in for a mani/pedi. I always try the most basic mani/pedi when I "try" a new nail salon. Price was decent, $36 for both services. The color selection was about average, nothing special about the decor. Your typical forgotten Christmas and other holiday decor that stays up year round. The basic mani consisted of nail trim & file, cuticle trim, and nail color. No lotion, no massage. Pretty basic. The basic pedi consisted of the same as the mani plus massage and hot stones for about 4 minutes. No drinks, no massage chair, no hand lotion, not even the mini-jet/bubbler for your feet. All in all an extremely basic place that provides the bare minimum for basic services in this price range. My advice? Keep looking. read more

The most basic pedicure is now $22. I actually debated about raising my rating to three stars because at 4:15PM on a Sunday I couldn't find anyone that would take a credit card. This was the only place available. The cutting was extremely meticulous, much needed for ingrown toenails. Upon finishing, the lady told me to just wait, and I asked for a fan so the nails could dry faster. It was like a light bulb went off (Ohhhh!). She accommodated by plugging a fan into a power strip and placing the fan on the end of the chair. How ghetto! Upon the lady putting on my flip flops, she REALLY messed up the big toenail. I told her to redo the nail as she was just repainting over the nail. Finally she relented. I pointed out the wrong color was painted and the lady said, "Ohhhh," as if she couldn't tell. I had chosen a dark red but she had chosen dark pink. Another lady had to find the right color and come over to fix the nail. This second lady put my flip flops on correctly and placed me in front of the heater. I think had I had this second lady, my review would be better. I do wonder about the cleanliness of this place though. The cuticle trimmers and cuticle pushers are taken out of a sterilized pack, but the nail file, buffer, and foot grater are not. This place is terrible! I went here with my best friend to just get our acrylic nails removed and they did such a crap job. Once we told them that we wanted to remove our nails, they immediately started looking for ways to PEEL them off. Our nails were not soaked in anything to help with the removal process. Not only did they peel each individual nail off, they did a crap job trying to take off the acrylic as well. My best friend still had acrylic left on her nails when we left. When they filed and buffed my nails, the lady was so rough and didn't even care that the whole process was uncomfortable. When she finished, each nail was uneven in length and one was even breaking. I don't get my nails done often, but I know that the way they removed our nails was not the correct way. My nails have never looked this bad after a removal and to make things even worse, I PAID $10. I stopped by this place when the opened one Friday morning. There as only one person in a pedicure chair and there were 4 employees not doing anything. They told me it would be at least a 45 minute wait. Not only that they did not great me when I walked in. I had to awkwardly walk back and ask for the services I was there to have done and when they did respond they were rude. Clearly I did not wait and moved along elsewhere. I just wanted to update my review to let everyone know that still almost three years later this is the ONLY nail salon that I will go to for service! The review I wrote below was written after my first visit and they continue to take such wonderful care of my nails (even though I am extremely OCD and picky) and I know every time my nails are going to be beautiful and look just as wonderful as they did on my first visit. I just recently started working in the area so needed a new nail place. Walked in and was warmingly welcomed. I had a couple pictures of what I had in mind and it couldn't have gone better. I got a pedicure here the other day, and I basically walked out in the same condition as I walked in. My heels were still rough, and my nails were polished horribly. They were painted uneven, and not well at all. My cuticles are still a mess. A much older lady sat next to me, got the same pedicure package as I did and they treated her so much better. They focused on each individual callus, made sure each toe was cuticle free, and even offered her a drink! None of this was offered to me nor to my other two other girlfriends I was with. Worst nails I've ever gotten!! My nail place that i usually go to was closed so i thought id try out a new place. I read the reviews and decided to try it. I got short coffin powder nails. Each nail was a different shape. They only lasted a week, and she did not do all the steps they usually do. Im so disappointed. They rush and do sloppy work. I got a rash all over the bottom half of my legs after getting a deluxe pedi. They try and upsell you so much that you can't relax and they burnt me twice getting waxed. I also had to ask the nail tech to ease up with the dremel because she was hurting me. I will never go back. read more

I feel bad writing a bad review because the staff was so nice but the actual nails were terrible. I got a dip manicure and a deluxe pedicure. The dip manicure, despite having more color options than I've ever had before, came out uneven. I had to ask the lady several times to redo a nail because of dents. She then proceeded to murder my cuticles, making me bleed several times. Trust me, I winced and she just kept going on to the next one. The application was also bad. I've had dip manicures plenty of times before and they usually last 2.5-3 weeks but this time one of the nails is already messed up after 3 days. The guy who did my toes was so nice but the polish and shaping of my nails was bad. I probably could have been more thorough if I did it myself. There were some girls that were obviously regulars and they all asked for Hannah. I don't know that I'll go back here but if I did, she would probably be my best bet. read more

I had my eyebrows waxed. The lady was not gentle at all. Then, when she was done, she put the gel on. It wasn't until after I left that I realized there was wax still all around my eyes! The only reason I didn't give one star is because my eyebrows look good. read more
