When I arrived I was sat immediately. Being that this was midday on a Wednesday it wasn't full at all. I saw this location had lots of great reviews so I decided to come. After years of not getting my nails done, here I am. The tech asked if I had any inspo pics and I showed her exactly what I wanted. I asked her if she could do it and she said absolutely. While she got the idea...she did not execute! She was very nice and so was the other staff but my nails are not the way I thought they'd be. Even the shape on a couple of them are not good. While I don't expect perfection, I needed them to be better than they are. Also, why are they point up?! To be clear, during the process I kept saying "I'm not sure about that." "Is it supposed to look like that." And she kept telling me to wait for the finished product. I am so disappointed. I wish I could get them removed.

I went here to get shellac nails since they were closer than my usual nail salon. The nail tech…read moreapplied 3 layers without letting my nails cure properly and my nails ended up dry on the outside and still wet on the inside. They appeared droopy immediately after. My nails peeled after 3 days. As someone who has gotten shellac for years, i've never had them peel like this. When i went to my usual nail salon to fix the nails that peeled, they let me know that they were done poorly and didn't dry. I would not recommend for shellac.

I always get my full set done by Nina and always call ahead of time to book an appointment but the experience I had yesterday I will never go back as I was sitting in the chair getting my full set done by Nina that took about 2 hours but for the last 30 to 20 minutes I started itching really bad on my buttocks. I didn't know what it was and I kept thinking it would go away. I saw fruit flies flying, and I just assumed maybe it's the fruit flies biting me, but the itching was getting worse and worse at this point Nina was painting my nails I got shellac and you know how you have to put it under the light so I couldn't scratch my buttocks. I was suffering, but I was trying to hold it in because I was embarrassed. How can I say wait let me scratch my butt. So I waited until she was finished as soon as she was done I rushed to the restroom and took my pants off and shook it. I saw one bed bug fall off. I looked inside my pants and saw blood stains from where the bedbug had bitten me. I started examining my buttock and saw large bumps all over my right butt cheek. They itched so bad. at that point I started taking pictures just so I could see more clearly. I was so disgusted. I put on my pants and proceeded to go to the front to inform management. Kim and the other manager was very dismissive and told me no we don't have bedbugs we have leather seats. How can bedbugs get in leather seats? I proceeded to show them the pictures and they dismissed me. They said no they don't have bedbugs. I was so shocked. I am a long time Customer and always pay. It's never been an issue for me. I told them that I'm just letting them know so they can do something about it and that I'm not looking to get free service or anything they continue to dismiss me and say no we don't have bedbugs and walk off. Kim came back was very rude and told me OK. The most we can do is give you 10% 0ff... My full set was only 64 dollars so it went down to 54. They didn't care about the injury I suffered in their business. So I proceeded to pay and told them I will never come back. The entire staff was so incredibly gracious, respectful and attentive to my mother. They vibe was genuinely uplifting beginning to end. My mom is 86 and has limited mobility. She has been through the ringer medically these past couple years. It is a rare treat for her to be able to even go to a nail salon, much less get such a nice pampered treatment. She chose the pedi with the 35 min massage, so that's what we both did. It was zen experience with a great pedi to boot. I am so thankful how wonderfully nice these ladies were to my mom -checking to see several times how she was enjoying it. The guy scrubbed very hard with the tools and the water got very cold and cloudy as he was doing the service, which seemed unusual, but I expect people to know how to do their job. I didn't really think about it until after.. that the water being dirty from the callous removal.. and hard scrubbing might've caused a problem. Now I may have my first ever infection in my life. On top of this they never have the same nail techs that I love and they always lie and say they are out of town or at another location, when really they no longer work there. I don't like changing nail techs to avoid beginner nail techs that damage my feet and cause infections. Smh. Lastly, this trip took 2.5 + hours! Normally 1 hour, a hour and a half but on a weekday midday no other clients it took ALL DAY. Not acceptable. Needless to say I'm on the hunt for another salon.

This time, however, made me view the salon and management differently. I showed the nail technician a photo of red chrome nails with the middle two nails having red French tips, which would be my Valentine's Day nails. She told me she could do it. I even left the photo up on my phone for some time so that she can reference it, if needed. As I saw her painting the red French tips, I informed her that they were a different shade of red from the other nails. She showed me the two products (gel and powder) and that they are the same shade number. I proceeded to let her finish as I thought that the end results may be different. It was not. She then added the "chrome" finish. I told her that it wasn't shiny at all nor looked like chrome and had a pearlescent finish instead. She told me that it was very popular with clients. She absolutely disregarded what I was saying to her. She also cut my skin while running the drill alongside my cuticles. At this point, the manager entered the conversation. I showed him the picture and he told me that the photos found online for inspiration "all have filters on them." He pretty much sided with the technician and saw no wrong. They both then told me to go wash my hands and see how the nails look in the sun. I did so and saw no difference from when I was seated at my chair. I was baffled that the manager could not see what was wrong. He did not offer to rectify the situation. I even asked for another type of coat that would make my nails shiny. They could not offer that to me for whatever reason. I clearly walked out with hideous nails. Even if I find someone who can replicate a photo here, the management alone would be reason not to go here. I paid for my service here out of respect for their time, but will not be returning and I urge others to do the same. Please see the photos I have provided.
