This is my go-to spot for my pedicures since it's so close to my house and they are so accommodating for walk-in clients. They always have the same staff working here so it doesn't take a long time for the staff to recognize you. I usually get the same two ladies to do my pedicure and they always ask how my mom is doing since I brought her with me once. Jon is simply AMAZING! I have been getting acrylics done for 10 years all over Houston and I have finally found one place I can keep coming back to! I have wide nails but love the look of long, narrow nails.. At other salons I've always had to file the sides of my nails once I got home, but Jon knew exactly how I wanted them to look. Had a pedicure with Hana. I enjoyed it. She gave a great leg and foot massage and was attentive to how I was feeling. I also had her give a neck and shoulder massage and it was wonderful. I had my nails done by Jon. I told him it was my first time there and he asked a lot of questions of what I liked and did a great job. Both of them were very friendly and attentive. My only "complaints" are a small polish selection and even some maybelline type polishes that I don't feel belong in a salon. They also don't offer any beverages other than a small cup of water. Loved this place! John was amazing (he did my friends nails) as well as his coworker whose name I don't know that did my nails. They did not charge extra for shape or length. Powder nails are $35, which is what my friend and I got, and acrylics are $25. Although we were walk-ins, they took us in and attended us right away. I was looking for a good place in Sugar Land just to get my feet pampered. There were 3 of us: myself, my daughter and my bff. First we went by Sweet Escape Nail because I heard they were reasonable price and had 18 spa chairs. I figured it would be a good place just to walk in and not have an appointment. It didn't even cross my mind that today will be such a busy day due to prom season. When we arrived it was so packed. They said the wait would be 20 minutes, which we didn't mind since we did not have an appointment. But it got crowded and there was no where to sit so my daughter suggested to go across the street to Medi-Pedi on an Isle. So we left and went across the street. They didn't have any openings until 4:30 which would have been too late for my best friend so we decided to come closer to home. I remember reading out Luxury Nails so we came here. Immediately, they had one opening. But they sat all 3 of us to sit in the massage chairs. We chose our colors and sat down and enjoyed the chairs. For $22, you got the salt scrub, the callus removal, cuticle trimmed, your calves and feet massage, and a hot towel wrap! I thought the was a helluva a deal! They took their time removing lots of excess skin on my feet and I was embarrassed when I realized how bad my feet were. We were all relaxed to a point my daughter took a quick nap in her chair. My daughter was extremely excited the chairs massages your bottom! She opted to get her nail polish changed on her nails too! They did a great job! read more

I don't know how this place is ranked so high! I went in, and they are rude and rush you along. The lady who did my nails did a horrible job! 2 days later the acrylic was already chipping! My usual nail salon does them to where I can wear them for 3-4 weeks and no chipping or breaking! Not only that, the lady didn't know my boyfriend and I were Vietnamese and said rude things about me while I was in the restroom. She was not attentive and didn't listen to me when I spoke to her about what I needed and how I wanted things done. She even stared at me like I was taking too long as I washed my hands. If you have other things to do and others to tend to (like she said in Vietnamese), just tell me! I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. When I got there, Cindy was too busy to do my nails. John did them instead. I asked for shorter nails and chose a dip color. He did a good job and I was pleased with my nails. Unfortunately within two days the nails b literally popped off. I had an event to go to at night and took the rest of because it looked a mess. I called him and told him the situation and went in the next day. When walked into the store, he said flat out, IN FRONT of his customer that he didn't believe me. He continued to raise his voice and say he doesn't know how my nails could come off that easily. They were literally like stick on nails y'all. He spoke in his language with the other ladies and when I got in my chair he kept telling me "no color change". I didn't go to get a color change I just wanted my nails back on. I liked this place. They were nice and I went on a Saturday at 4:40 for a Pedi and got out by 6:10 pm. I waited only 8 minutes. I was so surprised they were not packed with people. Ask for John, and John only when it comes to manicures. He's the manager, and he's also the most knowledgeable when it comes to doing manicures. I've gotten acrylics, dipping, shellac, gel with him done. All the other nail technicians are okay, but John is very detail orientated. You can tell the progression of how well he's become at knowing what I like when it comes to my nails. The orange set is my favorite so far, because I LOVE dainty nails, and he did just that. I've had my nails done with this place for the last 4 years, jumping from salon to salon sometimes, only to come back to John every time. He's such a sweetheart, he always remembers me, no matter how many times I come back, and I've been with him for over 4 years. Ive had other nail technicians do my acrylics, but they honestly do leave a sloppy job compared to John, so I wouldn't recommend anyone else but him here. I made a pedicure appointment two days prior for 9:30AM, exactly when the place opens because I needed to catch a flight to Miami afterwards (hence the reason for a pedicure!). I showed up exactly on the dot, and a man stepped out of his car and unlocked the door, as if I was the reason for opening on time. There was no one else there. It was very clear he was the "head guy," and I couldn't even imagine him cutting someone else's nails! Alas, as I stepped into the chair with running water, a woman arrived. She rushed to the back, put her stuff up, and immediately came over to me. Whew! I explained I didn't need to have a full pedicure with a leg massage, etc. because I had to go to the airport. I just needed the toenails cut and re-painted, at minimum. She nodded, so I thought she understood. She did not understand apparently because a rushed version of massage and warm towels was completed. The lady started painting with the color I picked and immediately motioned for my attention. Even though the color seemed like a dark red, the actual color when painted, was a baby pink! I am glad she didn't go any further, as she too was confused. Nonetheless, the whole pedicure was completed in 45 minutes, and although that may seem like a long time, it's actually a pretty short time for someone who hasn't had a pedicure in over a month. I gave an "A-OK" rating because the pedicure is $2 more than most places at $22 instead of the usual $20. I am surprised they charged that much since the time was abbreviated. I also stayed under the warmer for over 10 minutes. The lady said my nails would be fine (nothing sprayed to add an extra layer) despite asking her a few times, and by the time I got home, my big toenail was slightly messed up. FIrst time visit, and I'm not the biggest fan. Cleanliness: The only nice thing I can say is that it is a clean nail salon and the manager is friendly. On polishes: They have a small selection of polishes and they all seem to be old and crusty. Timeliness: My manicurist took an enormous amount of time to complete my mani-pedi. Granted I asked for a french tip manicure, but almost 2 hours? That's a bit much. She did happen to be a bit older than the other manicurists but since this was my first time here, I couldn't compare her speed to anyone else's. Mani-Pedi Experience My manicurist cut my pinky finger cuticles too deep and is began to bleed. I had to warn her to prevent her from doing that to other fingers as well. Like I said before the polishes are old and crusty. She used some thinner to get the polish to go on more smoothly, which worked out alright for my pedi, but my french tips were not so great. I also kept trying to tell her to make the tips a bit thinner, but I think the language barrier kept her from understanding what I wanted.
