Cassava was hard in some areas and burnt on the corner.

The establishment on the outside looks appealing. Inside the chairs and tables are comfortable and there is a full bar on the rear. Ambiance is neutral and not loud. Menu was missing a few items such as the soup of the day which was the main reason for today's visit. The appetizers croquetas with ham a d tajadas (fried platains) were relatively small in size and the taste was ok. Now to the soup, relatively small in size. Temperature were ok, but some of the vegetables were burned a bit on the corner and were hard in some areas. Service, although professional there was no follow for drinks or anything further. I would recommend trying it, but would caution that the size of the llate may not be what other similar restaurants for the kind of food would serve.

We made a reservation prior to coming because in order to make it inside you need to book a reservation. The establishment is small which is why you have to reserve. We came at around 10:45 and our reservation was for 11:00. They sat us down right away. The vibes are chill and cool, there's a dj playing music. It was like house, tech vibes. The music was great and people were enjoying their time. We had 1 cocktail each and went on our way because we just came to check out the spot honestly. I had the fabulous martini which has a purple hue to it, it was very refreshing. I love that they garnish it with a lavender. The espresso martini was made with Don Julio Reposado, and had real fresh espresso as per the menu. It was good but a bit strong too! We had asked for an extra shot of espresso on the side just as a pick me up. But our server told us that it comes cold, which is odd because the menu literally says freshly brewed espresso in the cocktail description. It was fine though, we still enjoyed the drinks. Overall, our experience was nice! If you are ever in the Hialeah area, you should totally check this spot out. They also have bites you can order but we were full from dinner and didn't get a chance to try anything. Definitely have to come back to try some more cocktails and grab some bites!

The portion was surprisingly large, so I ended up eating half and taking the rest home. I also tried the beef plantain empanada, and honestly, you can't go wrong with that combination. The sweet plantain paired perfectly with the savory beef, creating the ideal balance of sweet and salty flavors. My boyfriend ordered the cheese arepa. It was good, but nothing out of this world compared to everything else we tried. For drinks, I had their cold brew made with 100% Colombian coffee. It was incredibly refreshing, and adding two pumps of pistachio syrup took it to another level. My boyfriend ordered the caramel frappe and really enjoyed it as well. One thing I loved was the atmosphere. The decor has a very Colombian feel, which gives the space a lot of character. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to study, work, or just hang out for a while. Overall, great food, great coffee, and a welcoming environment. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

You can tell the coconut syrup is real & not a synthetic flavor. If you are used to the fake flavor this tastes a lot different and you might not like it. The staff here are very nice & I love how you can see the beans getting roasted. The roaster stands right next to the machine while they are cooking! A lot of seating and you can definitely work on your laptop as I saw a few doing this. Feels like a cafe in some Central American country!
