It took about a minute for the hostess to walk in and greet us (the lady in the red dress) and take us to the table. As we perused the menu, I got excited by the selections. The server Ashley (I think that was her name) was great. Extremely personable and loved her candor about our selections and making sure we ordered enough food. However she informed us that a few of the plates we were most excited for, were no longer available and they were redoing the menu. At the end of the night the food was mediocre for the price. My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you.
