I came across this place because: 1. I was SUPER hungry 2. It was close by 3. It had only 1 $ rating on Yelp I didn't have too high of expectations as the place was empty around dinner time, and it just seemed like any other kebab/halal type place. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the man at the counter. We both ordered a #10 which had one beef and one chicken item. It looked and sounded delicious. All of their main menu items were around $10-12, which was a little more than I anticipated. Food took a little while to make as they were making it all fresh. Although we were in a hurry, we apprecited the MTO meal a lot. The food came out piping hot! Food: I did not know this place existed until now! I ordered the chicken and beef tika Kabab Chicken Combo. The beef was a little dry and kinda hard to chew. The chicken and rice were great and tasted really good. My boyfriend ordered the lamb Gyro which was delicious! It was huge and super flavorful. Overall it was a pretty good meal. Service: when my boyfriend and I arrived at the place to pick up the food, there was a small debate on whether or not my boyfriend got a soda. The man at the counter went back and forth a little with my boyfriend. In the end my boyfriend was correct and he did get a beverage. It was not a terribly rude encounter, however, his tone did seem a little condescending. Other: the guy at the counter was not wearing a mask either. I personally find wearing a mask a high importance, especially in food establishments. Flame Kebab has the standard kebab shop offerings--gyro, chicken and beef kebabs, and kafta (ground meat kebabs)--in addition to a couple of afghani specialties and American dishes like burgers, shrimp and wings. Every kebab I've had except the chicken kafta was great--beef kafta is good, but chicken was a bit dry. Rice pilaf is flavorful and fluffy. Only uneven spot are the veggie sides--potatoes and eggplant are great, while beans and okra were uninteresting and dry. (Edit: the owner invited me back to try the chicken kefta again, and it was fantastic the second time. Moist, tasty, and spicy!) Excellent food!! My daughter and I stopped in to get a bite. It is a rather small place, and they do not have seating during Covid so it's carry out only at this time. But the food, wow. I ordered the lamb and chicken over rice and it came with a small salad as well. My daughter ordered the chicken Kafka kebab over rice, and got it spicy. Both were delicious. Loved the white sauce! Hers came with chickpeas in a red sauce that was just out of this world. Can't say enough good things about the food. Air conditioner was broken making it very hot and uncomfortable inside. Pricing was inconsistent and didn't make sense. Apparently rice doesn't make you thirsty so some of the meals do not come with a drink but you still pay the same price. Food was delicious and flavorful and the meats were tender. read more

Ate there during work break once and the food was ok but what really brought me back was the service, the guy at the counter was super nice. Went there a second time, turns out it was all fake. I made a large order and he scammed me by charging me for extra food. I didnt notice the amount, he just took my card, but i did notice the extra plate and sodas and when i asked him he said it was "complimentary"... no it was not, he actually charged me for it by accident and didnt want me to catch on. We eat here once a week. Love the kabobs. Chicken and beef are both very good. Come with huge amount of rice, chickpeas in sauce which are fabulous, and a small salad. For three of us we only get two meals and barely eat it all. Falafel is good as well. The green sauce that comes with the kabob is my favorite thing! I just placed a Doordash order for $70 worth of food. The app does NOT have the option to choose salad dressing or extra sauce. I call.. and the guy on the phone was one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. He yelled at me telling me I have to pay for the sauce, of which I offered, then he proceeds to tell me he isn't doing that for me. He continues yelling at me even after I explained that the doordash app does not have the successfully as an option.. While I thought the food from this place was decent I will not order from them again. Nor would it recommend it to anyone simply for the horrendous customer service. read more

So glad that I did. It's a little fast food place in a mini mall right behind Chile's. Very clean, and proprietor greeted me right as I walked in. Decided to try the chicken Kabob and beef kafta combo. They cooked it fresh, so I had a five to ten minute wait. It came with a bit of salad and three pieces of falafel. All served on something like mini noodles. Also came with little servings of tziki sauce and some sort of delicious cilantro sauce. Was all completely new to me. Loved every bite. That ran about thirteen dollars. Two diet Cokes at a buck apiece. Total was about fifteen dollars. Would definitely come back if I lived here. My husband and I crave this food every week. The employees are always so nice. The food is so good we are trying to work our way through the menu. Our favorites are the beef and chicken tikka kabobs, it comes with rice, chickpeas, a small salad and a piece of bread. The meat is delicious on its own but they also give you two sauces A creamy tzatziki sauce and a thin green sauce that is a mix of garlic and cilantro. We also love the lamb gyros.
